Remembering how someone once brushed off the criticism of v5 being mostly in a single room by saying "most sitcoms take place in a single room!" as if Remnant isn't an entirely new world with unique landscapes and cultures that should be explored

#rwde #the disgrace of using friends and bb9 to back up this dumb argument as if nyc isnt one of the most popular places for stories to take place #it can happen in one room bc the outside is FAMILIAR #you can glaze over things bc most people already get the gist. dont waste everyones time describing the familiar #but when the setting is so far beyond our normal - typical of fantasy and sci fi - then you absolutely NEED to go outside and touch grass #or martian dirt or radiation resistant plastic or whatever #can you imagine if star wars had taken place almost entirely in one room?#thats how stupid this claim is #i know im being petty but life is v ugh rn so whatever #tis harmless whinging #and more shock that people can excuse literally anything in this show #i know i take some shows personally but i cant imagine going this hard for anything
