#alright infodumping time . now alan bates was a brilliant and humble actor who refused to go to Hollywood #bc he was aware of the shit behind it and said many many times that he enjoyed theatre much more than cinema but #you know how it is. sometimes you need money and you find yourself playing a character in movies you don't really enjoy and youre like #damn im ashamed of that role. this to say that alan was an amazing actor but god watching the shout was painful to me and for him as well .#i guess #you can tell he enjoyed playing ben butley more than anything else in the world bc he put his whole pussy into that role anyway.ill stop #thanks for the ted talk ignore these tags op
