In which we dig deeper under the surface of our favorite KPOP idols.

Sun Sign: Taurus (Earth)

I’m going to be honest, I was more than a bit surprised to find out BamBam was an Earth sign. He definitely seems like he would be a fire sign! Like, he’s really not a Sagittarius? Are you sure?

I do see a lot of Taurus traits in BamBam, though! Taurans are known to be very supportive and romantic as well as dedicated. BamBam is certainly dedicated to Got7, his hyungs, his family, and his fans. He’s a true fan service king which also supports the romantic trait. In addition, they are also smart, very ambitious, and trustworthy. While BamBam seems like he would totally be a snitch because he just can’t keep his mouth shut (am I right?!), he’s definitely trustworthy in that he’ll do what he says he’s going to do. He can keep a promise, and that’s a very Taurus trait.

Another Taurus trait BamBam definitely personifies is having a tendency to like the finer things in life. A Taurus really likes to indulge themselves, and BamBam? Yeah, he definitely does that. He loves clothes and fashion, so I’m quite positive he indulges himself when it comes to his wardrobe. He also indulges himself when it comes to any sort or meme or trend (i.e. dabbing, running man, bottle flipping, you name it). 

Taurans are also very honest and genuine. BamBam does not put on a show, even when he’s being wild and crazy - that’s just who he is. He shows fans his true self, and he has since the beginning. With a Taurus, what you see is what you get, and so it is with BamBam, as well.

Moon Sign: Pisces (Water)

Pisces are also known for being romantic, just like Taurus, so whoever ends up in a relationship with BamBam will be very happy! He will treat you well! They also tend to be very affectionate, understanding, and compassionate. Underneath BamBam’s crazy exterior truly does lie a soft heart. While he’s not as emotional as other members in Got7 (definitely not as emotional as Jackson), he does have a fiercely loyal and loving heart. It’s very easy to be friends with him because of this.

In addition, Pisces signs are very intuitive and creative. We will see later in BamBam’s MBTI that he is, in fact, intuitive. He has a great capability to think abstractly, and I truly believe this helps people become more intuitive about their surroundings. I also see BamBam using his intuition because he keeps up with all the latest memes and trends - it sounds silly, but it’s true! He’s very observant with what’s going on in the world. And creative? Yes, BamBam is definitely creative. He writes some amazing songs, he’s a fantastic rapper, and he can even play the piano! He’s very musically talented!

Chinese Astrology: Fire Ox

Aha! Here’s the Fire I knew existed in BamBam!

Fire oxen tend to be clever and quick-witted, and I’m not sure I know of anyone who's quicker with a comeback than BamBam. They’re also known to be a bit unstable with their emotions and moods. They can change quickly, and this can sometimes make it difficult to maintain a relationship with them, whether it be a friendly or a romantic relationship. We know BamBam can be very romantic, but I do see him as someone who might get bored easily or will move on quickly. 

Oxen are also very honest and dependable, two traits BamBam also gets from his Taurus sun sign. He’s definitely one of those people who will tell it to you straight, and he’ll be honest even if you don’t want him to be.

Numerology: Life Path 6

Again, a lot of the traits of those born with the life path number 6 are very similar to those we’ve already talked about in BamBam. 6s are very family-oriented (BamBam bought a house for his family when he was only 18 years old), they’re very romantic (something we’ve discussed more than once), very supportive, loving, and artistically creative. All things we already know BamBam is!

BUT 6s can also be a bit indulgent, just like a Taurus can. They can be irresponsible and non-committal, which we touched in in BamBam’s Chinese Zodiac sign - he does seem like he would be the type to move on quickly and not fully commit to something - besides being a living meme, of course. He’s just so out there and crazy, it seems like it would take a lot for him to settle down.

MBTI: ENTJ

Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging

Um... are we surprised BamBam is Extroverted? Not only is he extremely outgoing, he also loves going out and doing things. He loves being around people; they give him energy, which is very evident when he performs. He’s always doing something crazy, and you can tell the crowd only gets him riled up and energized.

BamBam also typed as Intuitive which means he’s able to think abstractly and understand the big picture before looking at the details. He can use his imagination to gain knowledge about situations rather than having to experience them himself. He doesn’t need to rely on his senses to learn; he’s much more able to learn using his creative power and vision.

Something a bit surprising to me is that BamBam scored as Thinking rather than feeling. He thought for sure he would be feeling because he is very romantic and seems to be pretty soft-hearted. But he scored a 12 on the thinking scale and a 2 on the feeling scale. So it’s pretty obvious he’s a major thinker. He doesn’t let his heart or emotions rules his decisions; he is very rational and logical, and he trusts that logic to help guide him through life.

BamBam also typed as Judging which means his thinking function is more dominant than his intuitive function. It also means he probably prefers to live his life in a more structured, organized manner. He likes to plan things out rather than being spontaneous and going with the flow.

6:47pm, the phone started ringing furiously ‘Hello … ?’ you said still asleep.

‘Oh [Y/A]-ah, why are you still sleeping? Go get ready I am going for you in two hours’ the phone call ended. It was one of your closest friends, Yoonsu. He was a new trainee at JYP, however, he was doing surprisingly well despite all his fuss, the boy was about to debut and wanted you to meet the other trainees and Idols, since he wanted his dear friend to be there for him. Giving him support like from the beginning.

You went to take a shower; hot water ran through your body who was still trying to wake up. Thinking to yourself, you decided to put on a dark green dress that you had in your closet. It was a scoop-neck tank dress with a deep side slit that was quite flirtatious and a black Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pointy toe. You dressed up hurried, now doing your makeup. You heard your door opening, definitely was Yoonsu, since he was the only one to have the key to your apartment.  That was how close you two were.

‘Hey sexy, ready?’ he said chuckling hard to his own words. You looked at him, rolling your eyes over ‘Stupid, do I look ok? Do you think it is too much?’ you said worried since you didn’t want to anyone think you were looking for nothing else, besides supporting your friend. Yoonsu nodded enthusiastic ‘I bet you will look better than anyone else in the party. The girls there don’t know how to dress and if something happen super Yoonsu will protect you’ you twitched your heard trying not to laugh but it was impossible with him. ‘You look quite ok too’ chuckling you said making Yoonsu pout. ‘Yah, let’s go’ you said again before he started complaining.

You and Yoonsu arrived at the place JYP rented for the party, it was enormous and you didn’t expect to see so many people. However, most of them were new trainees and a lot groups that already debuted. One of them was Got7, you recognized them immediately since they got really popular these days in Seoul. ‘Yah [Y/A]’ Yoonsu words made you snap, you were incredibly far away with your thoughts ‘Didn’t I told you? You are the most beautiful one here, the others are so... I don’t have words to describe’ he tried to make a disgusted face but it was more cute than ugly, making you laugh.

As soon, you and Yoonsu entered in the party haul, all eyes were on you. It was inevitable, you were incredible stunning that night. The dress went perfect with you sand clock body. It didn’t looked provocative at all in you, but really elegant, chic, making you charm shine even more.

‘Yo look, isn’t that Yoonsu?’ said Jackson to Bambam, he nodded; they were surprised to see this beautiful woman with their Hoobae. ‘Is that his girlfriend?’ asked Mark to the boys curious ‘Hyung isn’t she too pretty to be his girlfriend besides she doesn’t seem to be with him in that way’ said Yugyeom to Mark, who didn’t know what to say. Youngjae looked at you since the other members were doing a big fuss about you, he was speechless. His jaw dropped, his heart beat fast, and his face got red. However, he had to keep it cool because of his Hoobae. Yoonsu ran towards the members grabbing her by the arm.

‘Yah yah Yoonsu-ah stop runing’ you said to your friend who wasn’t listening to you at all. ‘Hello Sumbae’ said Yoonsu with the biggest smile on his face; you didn’t know that he knew the members of Got7, and to be honest they seem pretty close to each other ‘Yo Hoobae’ replied Jackson hugging him. You were there; standing at one side looking at the commotion between Yoonsu and the other members of Got7. All you could hear was gibberish from all of them. You sighed, tried to keep it cool, but then you decided to go and grab a drink it wasn’t your style to be so extroverted like Yoonsu. The reality was, that you actually till this day couldn’t understand how your friend could bond with you so well, but after many years going through a lot you knew how much you cared and same for him.

Yoonsu saw you were leaving but suddenly he grabbed you by your wrist, making you turn around. You hair flipped through the hair and of course you looked gorgeous in that moment. ‘Yah [Y/A]-ah were you going? I am going to introduce you to the members of Got7’ he said pouting ‘ah, sorry. I was just going to grab a drink’ ‘Are you his girlfriend?’ a husky voice came towards you, the sudden question surprised you it was the leader Jaebum ‘Oh … no, just close friends’ you said looking to him trying to keep it cool, you didn’t want him to noticed that you got nervous. ‘I told you hyung’ said Yugyeom to Mark whispering, you obviously could hear what he said, and you could not avoid laughing.

‘Hyung she is [Y/A]. She is the friend I told you that supported me from the beginning since my parents divorced’ he said turning to you with a bright smile, you smiled back to him and bowed introducing yourself ‘My pleasure to meet you guys, I am [Y/A]. Thank you for taking care of Yoonsu’ the members were dazed with you specially Youngjae, he was blushing too hard and Bambam was making fun of him. ‘You guys want something to drink?’ you asked to the boys Yugyeom and Bambam nodded enthusiastic and left with you to the bar, in the meantime you guys got to talk and get really got, even exchanged phone numbers.

Youngjae was looking from afar, he was so jealous of the other two. He wanted to talk you more, and know you more. However, for that he had to gather some courage to talk to you. Without realizing, he saw Jinyoung being flirtatious with you but not in a direct way, he knew his Hyung very well. Youngjae growled and went towards you ‘oh [Y/A]-ah you want to eat something?’ you looked at him quite surprised ‘Yes it will be nice eat something’ he grabbed your arm putting around his taking you to the table in his mind he went crazy, how could he do something so ambitious like that. You felt nervous, and didn’t know what to do. Youngjae was a handsome man, with such an amazing voice. At the same time, you felt at ease around him more with the others. ‘Youngjae Hyung really got bold’ said Bambam to Jinyoung laughing. Surprisingly, you got an incredible time with Youngjae, you really liked his laugh and how he got flustered sometimes with things that he said.

It passed a few weeks after the party and you got close with Got7 specially with Youngjae. You guys talked all the time, hanging out for ice cream, for food, time to time went to visit then in their practices but you also spent time with Yoonsu too when you were in the JYP bulding. You received a message from Youngjae that day inviting you to go eat with the members, you gladly accept it. You were going to meet them after their practice; since they are going to finish late, you decided to run around some shops to buy them a few presents. For their hard work. After that, you went to the restaurant the shopping took you more than expected and the member were alredy waiting for you. ‘Oh I am sorry … I went to buy something, it’s a few presents for you guys’ you said shyly and the boys got really excited. They thanked you for the presents and for your care.

‘Ah also, I invited Yoonsu. I hope that is not a problem’ you said drinking you cola looking the members who actually didn’t care about it, they were fine with Yoonsu ‘Yah [Y/A]-ah can I see you for a second?’ said Youngjae standing up from his chair going towards the entrance of the restaurant, you looked at him confused but followed him quietly. ‘Yah do you have something with Yoonsu? Why do you have to be with him all the time? Can’t we spend time together without him? His sharps words made you snap out of you current state ‘What do you mean Youngjae-ah?’ you said ‘Yah [Y/A]-ah are you in love with him? You seriously are so easy’ still in shook you looked to him ‘Easy, huh? How can you even say this? When I thought you were different ..’ you said leaving him outside alone you went to the room were the other members were grabbed your stuff and left in fury, Youngjae came back ‘Yah [Y/A]-ah’ but no response from you.

‘Hyung what happened?’ said Yugyeom. Youngjae didn’t said nothing and just sat on his chair looking furious ‘She invited Yoonsu again, that’s the problem. Am I that easy to her?’ he said without realizing his words ‘Yah Yougjae-ah you never confessed to her besides that Yoonsu it’s like a brother to [Y/A] she took care of him when his parents were not around’ said Jinyoung. Those words made Youngjae realize the biggest mistake he had done to you. He was mad with himself as he left the members and went to find you.

When he saw you, he screamed your name. However, you kept walking. Youngjae ran towards you grabbing your arm, you faced him. Your face was incredible red, you were crying. His words were incredible hurtful since you started liking him, they day you two meet was magical you knew that he was perfect. ‘[Y/A]-ah ..’ he said catching his breath again ‘I am so sorry, I got really jealous. I like you, I liked you since the first day I saw you. You were beautiful that night; you are always beautiful in my eyes. Every time we went do eat something or spent time together I loved it, I felt like I wanted that time to last forever…’  he hugged you. His words made you cry even more making you hug him back ‘Yah Youngjae how can you be so stupid?’ you said sobbing in his arms ‘I know that …’ He looked at your eyes ‘Can I kiss you?’ he asked, you nodded.

He caressed you hair gently and kissed you, his lips was the softest thing your mouth ever touched, that was heaven. ‘YOU GO YOUNGJAE-AH’ said Jackson with the other members screaming, and congratulating you both. After all, it wasn’t a bad idea going to the party at the JYP bulding and you meet the guy of your dreams.
