This is canon, ichihime won the future, if there is going to be any more Bleach, they will be featured in it as a family, and I would be curios to see it.

I am not an ichihimer, au contraire, but I am an Orihime fan, and the deluge of fanart of her standing or cowering behind Ichigo protecting her annoys me.

Orihime is not only one of the most powerful character by the end of Bleach, but her whole character was driven by the desire to stay BY ICHIGO’S SIDE,  and not need protection anymore.

Where is the art with her shielding Ichigo?

The end of Bleach, and her super shield that Urahara thought would work against Yuha Baha, led me to believe that if any future threat appeared they will be a super-powered battle couple, not a knight and a damsel in distress.

So lately I've been checking various Bleach ships, and some of them caught my attention. It was a bit surprising that ShunUki fandom is still active. Bleach end happened several years ago, and this ship is quite old, but Japanese fans still keep it alive with flashmobs and fanarts.

Another ship - GinTsuki was rather obvious but extremely unpopular during Fullbringers arc, but it suddenly gained the whole bunch of new fans after the ending. Bleach readers hated on Ginjo and Tsukishima a lot during their arc, so I guess those shippers joined the fandom much later.

As for Yuha x Haschwalth, I think more people should notice this cute couple with really good dynamics. And I see no problem in that since it resembles mentioned two ships in some way. This ship is middle-aged man x bishie just like ShunUki. There are artists who ship both YuHasch and ShunUki due to such similarities. And it's even more similar to GinTsuki if you compare characters' past. In a flashback we saw little Tsukishima being saved by Ginjo, who apparently became his guardian. Their meeting had a great impact on Tsukishima, he became very attached to Ginjo and eventually fell for him. And we have almost identical case with Haschwalth and Yuha in Quincy flashback. Yuha Bach became irreplaceable and most important person in Haschwalth's life. Kubo is being positively repetitive here. :)
