Sukuna and Mishakuji spoke to each other when they found out about the project Hisui Nagare brought in.

"Affirmative. I sent you a proposal, so please read it."

That said, Sukuna confirmed on his PDA. Certainly Nagare sent a PDF file saying "Look at it.", he complained and thinned his lips.

"Occult art in the New Year. Hey, it's kind of futuristic."

"That being said, you really don't like it because there is no hidden art?"

"Huh? No, I have a hidden trick or two! Look!"

Sukuna pushed the metal staff in his hand to the ground and lifted his body in the same way that he did. The appearance of swinging your legs stretched out in the air to balance them is like an acrobat.

"Hey. It's hard to do."

"I'm dancing so this is it. What about Yukari?"

In response to Sukuna's question, Yukari shook his neck and said, "Yes."

"How about this?"

With that said, he threw the apple that was in the chabudai into the sky.

He paused a moment on the top of the sword, then fell freely.

Then a white light swirled around the block.

"Ah?"

At the same time that fell on the chabudai, the skin of the apple fell off. The spirally peeled skin was connected like a ribbon. He puts the sword in the sheath and Yukari mutters.

"Is "Ayamachi's" blade a bit dull? I have to deal with that later."

"It's wonderful, Sukuna, Yukari. Let's make a video of current occult art later. I'll process and edit it."

"Okay, but where will you play that video?"

Nagare's eyes glowed brightly.

"I am going to hack the New Year’s Occult Art Tournament that will be broadcast on the national network and show the video instead. This is the secret trick of 'Jungle Pro'."

"Oh, it's true!"

"It means to make the Ayaba flowers that cover other flowers bloom. Fufu, it's interesting."

"Thanks for accepting. Let's get ready."

"Understood!"

At that moment, the door behind the three people who were excited opened with a "Spam!", and Iwafune desperately appeared from inside.

"Stop it?  It's a normal crime, that is!"

My Thoughts on K - Seven Stories

I binge-watched this a couple of weeks ago. I nearly forgot about these until I found the subs. Haha

Here are my thoughts and a few screenshots (like one for almost each movie). I’ll just say a few things, I guess? Except for LSW (movie 4) and Circle Vision (movie 6) and Idol K (shorts) which will have their own posts cause I have the feels.

Movie 1, “R:B - Blaze” shows us the beginning of how Munakata Reisi got his powers as the Blue King and his first meeting with Red King, Suou Mikoto.

It’s nice to see more stuff about the two clans and how things went before the series began -  from within their groups and how they thought of each other. There are also more bits and pieces of the Kagutsu Incident and we get to see the former Blue and Red Kings at their final battle which is awesome.

Movie 2, “Side:Blue” - Like Sirius is about Kusuhara Takeru and Zenjou Gouki. Kusuhara is a member of Scepter4 who wanted to get in the Special Forces (You know, the group that fights directly under the Blue King which we see in the series) alongside his friends and everyone’s really supportive of him which is so nice. However, he’s not as good as they are yet and is told he’d only get in if he can get at least 1 clean hit on Awashima Seri on their spar. So far, no good.

Zenjou Gouki is the former Blue King’s right-hand man. He’s now retired and is working in Internal Affairs. He also watches over the training. Kusuhara ends up working under him later on and is also being trained by him when Kusuhara was given a time limit on his condition to join. Failure this time, though, means Kusuhara will lose his job.

This movie is... he got the job of course. Also, it didn’t end well. On his first day, too like why? Wtf?! I ended up crying when they told Zenjou what happened.

And I know Munakata is just trying to put logic into this and is actually feeling bad about what happened, too but freaking hell, man! That is not what you tell people who are grieving! I know you’re trying to rile them up and piss Zenjou off on purpose for a reason but still... you sound like a real jerk. This is why people think badly of you even though you’re not really that bad.

Also, this reveals why Munakata wants to have Zenjou out of retirement: Zenjou moves on instinct. Actions before thought: he does what’s needed and what's best especially in battle. He was the one who killed the Blue King before another Damocles Down happens after Kagutsu’s fell. He felt really bad for it and probably didn’t want to do it at all as Habari is his friend but it was for the best and so he moved without a second though. Munakata knows that Zenjou will do it again if needed. Munakata has Zenjou as some kind of fail-safe: if he’s become a danger like say, his sword is gonna fall, Zenjou would be able to kill him.

That kinda sucks to be honest. Zenjou was the one who took his own king’s life and he’s gonna be made to do it again if needed be. We all know how season 2 ended so it’s all good but still...

RIP Kusuhara Takeru. You’re one of the Best Boys and you deserved better.

Movie 3, “Side:Green - The Overwritten World” gives us Goujou Sukuna’s backstory. He came from a rich family but with very controlling parents. Finding out his only friend was a fake picked by his parents was the last straw which had him run away from home. He uses the JUNGLE points he earns playing the game so he could escape those trying to capture him to get him back to his parents.

This also shows how he met the Green Clan. How he met Hirasaka Douhan and their first fight against Mishakuji Yukari, which while I wasn’t able to get a screenshot (sorry) to show you, is really pretty. You know how the art for this show is all shiny and kind of have this realistic look, right? Their fight is more 2D-ish but has a purple hue. It’s better if you see it but it’s really, really pretty!

In the end, it also shows how Sukuna became a member of the Green Clan and that he and Hisui Nagare has some things in common. It made this group more interesting, sympathetic, and more human despite being the main bad guys if season 2. It made me like them a lot.

Movie 5, “Memory of Red - Burn” is centered around HOMRA and them planning Anna’s birthday party. I thought “Oh, a fun cute, episode with the Red Clan? Nice!”.

Then Tatara crosses paths with the Colorless King.

The it hit me...

Oh... no.

Yes, this movie is a direct prologue of the first season’s episode 1. How Totsuka Tatara died that fateful night. He’s a really nice guy, you know. They were having so much fun. Anna’s birthday was coming up, too.

When I saw the Colorless King, I started panicking. I told myself “It can’t be, right?” so when Tatara got back to the bar I was relieved. I thought it was safe but then he just had to freaking leave again! I was... I was muttering “No, please... someone please stop him...” while he was looking at everyone, unbeknownst to all of them, for the last time. I know I’m being overly dramatic here cause I already know his death is a foregone conclusion but still... I was getting really attached to these characters as the movie went on. I got to know a bit more about Tatara and why everyone is willing to murder a guy to avenge him in the series. It hurts, man. Even when I knew it still freaking hurts. I was crying when it finally happened.

I said before I started liking them more cause of movie 3 but this, knowing they’re the reason why Tatara died made me hate them the moment I saw it. I still like the characters but I don’t think I could ever forgive them for this.

No Blood, No Bone, No Ash.

Nothing left, not even ashes. Only memories of you in the ones you love. The cremation scene is just as sad to watch. What’s supposed to be a birthday celebration became a funeral.

RIP Totsuka Tatara. You’d be remembered, never forgotten and will always be an important and beloved member of HOMRA.

Knowing what happened at the end of season 1, I hope you and Mikoto are happy watching the outcome of the final battle.

Just wanna point out before anything else that it’s got a bunch of ED songs for each movie but more importantly, the OP “Survive!” by Angela is a total banger. I ended up listening to it on repeat alongside “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” by the Idol K seiyuus. It’s so good. And the OP video is so pretty! There’s a difference in character designs this time around from the original series though and I’m sure you’d realize it when you finally watch it: their eyes are a bit bigger. It made them look younger and it’s something to get used to. I liked the older version but this wasn’t so bad. Still, for K fans, it depends on you what you think.

Anyways, the entire movie series was so good but I wish there were more. So many more backstories unexplained. I know they’re in the LN and manga spin-offs plus some extras on drama CDs and stories posted online but come on, they deserve an adaptation, too!

I really wish they’d made more for this series. If I had the money I’d buy the dvds for these. Or the artbooks. Have you seen the artbooks? The art for posters and stuff are all so pretty! I’d love a copy of them to be honest.

Synopsis

It was a scene brought by a small prayer. 

Adolf K. Weismann and his loved ones dine around the table, Yata Misaki spends his days passionately with his comrades, Awashima Seri executes her responsibilities without any doubt, Gojo Sukuna rushes into the battlefield of his dazzling dreams.

With the five "Sword of Damocles" in the air, since when everything came the way to be or, are they somewhere where there is nothing. 

Everything was a sad scene brought by the small prayer. 

The Idol K

Isana Yashiro and Yatogami Kuroh, Suoh Mikoto and Yata Misaki, Munakata Reisi and Fushimi Saruhiko, and Hisui Nagare and Mishakuji Yukari came from four different entertainment offices which aim to produce idols - and of course, each group has different views on what an idol should be and how they ought to live.

Yukari’s Birthday Surprise

Ah August...end of the Summer and (if you live in the States) there are kids going back to school so its pretty much that time of year that you would dread for reasons that would seem obvious In one apartment this isn’t a bad month In an apartment near the outskirts of Shizume City two individuals were laying in bed enjoying their lazy day They would be Yukari Mishakuji (formerly of JUNGLE) and his boyfriend in Joshua Today was an interesting day however for these two because it was the first time since they have been together that Joshua was home for his partner’s birthday.  The life of an officer of the Blue Clan/Bartender at HOMRA and also manager and idol for various agencies is not something that is easily juggled but this time for Joshua it was rather easy because he explained one thing to everyone. “I have felt really bad these past few years since I’ve been with Yukari that I haven’t been able to spend time with him on his special day.  I ask that you allow me that day because it would mean the world to both of us.” None of the agencies he worked for fought this To say the very least every Agency rep that was there for the meeting he had about the situation was very receptive to the idea...it was slightly jarring for Kaoru with whom Joshua works with on occasion to hear that he was dating another man ,but he respected it because he knew that Joshua was very much receptive to that kind of relationship.  Its known also publicly that even before he came out and told everyone he was dating Yukari that he would wear a bracelet in support of LGBT rights on the hand that he held his microphone in but we are steering way off course here to bring it back around. Today Joshua DID have to go in to see his crew in the “Youngbloods” to see how things were going with them AND...well we’re getting ahead of ourselves However...this required getting out of bed and the gentle pressure of Yukari’s arm draped over his stomach was keeping him from wanting to get up.  Its a good think that Captain Munakata became lenient with him being a little tardy because apparently Yukari became possessive of Joshua recently when it comes to getting out of bed.  Even though its still in the 80s which you would think would be warm enough...Yukari gets unusually cold without the man he cares about so much being near him.  Love does strange things for sure! “Yukari friend” Joshua started “as much as I love laying here with you I have to go to the Scepter 4 office to take care of something.  The Captain is good with me being ‘Kind of’ late but I don’t want to abuse that you know?” Joshua asked and Yukari relented...took an extra 5 minutes but the man allowed Joshua to finally leave his spot on the bed and get ready to go out.  Usually at this point he would too but he wanted to take an extra couple of minutes so that Joshua could get up ,dressed ,shaved and get his coffee before he walked out the door. Today however was a little different.. You see after Joshua got dressed and ready before he walked out the door he decided to make a quick (but nice breakfast) for Yukari and when he finished he called Yukari out to the kitchen table and Yukari came with no issues and Joshua served him some eggs ,Orange Juice and toast (he can cook...just not complicated stuff) and when Yukari saw this he was pleasantly surprised but he did have a question “What is the occasion Curtis-San?” To this Joshua didn’t say anything but a quick peck on the lips and the following “Just a ‘thank you’ for sticking with me even when I know I probably haven’t been the most attentive and for that I apologize.  I promise though that I will make up for it tenfold when the time comes and when I do...you’ll be a very happy man.” Joshua explained with a smirk on his face and Yukari was caught off guard but accepted that for an explanation as he said his goodbye to Joshua and watched as Joshua walked out the door. If Yukari thought that the surprises ended in that kitchen...HOO BOY was he in for a surprise! At Scepter 4 HQ “Well now” Joshua started as he looked around the headquarters of Blue Clan “you guys really did all of this to decorate for Yukari’s birthday?!” Joshua exclaimed and Andy was the first to speak as the representative of the “Youngbloods”. “We sure did Senpai” He began and Joshua waited for the rest “we had heard from Otori-Senpai that Yukari’s birthday was coming up so we wanted to do something special for him.  He has actually helped us with our skills with the sword and so in turn we wanted to do something like this for him.” Domy explained and Joshua smiled and nodded at this reponse...then he looked over in the one corner and noticed someone “sulking” “Alright...who wants to tell me Fushimi’s issue?” Joshua said as he pointed to one of the Megane reps of the “Scepter 4 Trio”. “Ahh don’t mind him Senpai.  He’s in a bad mood cos he got scolded over something that happened recently when it came to learning out to cut flowers.  Otori-Senpai was understanding but for some reason the captain gave a thump on the end for forgetting.  I think its because he didn’t want things ruined for today and so after that Fushimi has been sitting in the corner pouting a little bit” Fuse told Joshua and Fushimi had a retort for this “I’m NOT pouting...just annoyed that OF ALL PEOPLE I got yelled at...not fair” Fushimi whined and this made Joshua have an uncharacteristic giggle fit for 10 minutes where he had to go into his office ,lock the door and try to compose himself...and yes it literally took that long because of the fact that Saru’s reaction and later for whatever reason Saru even chuckled a little bit when he thought about it.  There’s an argument that he is still going through his emo phase a little bit and for some reason him thinking about that can make him uncharacteristically giggle. After that “Moment” “Alright” Joshua began again after his fit “So is everything ready for later tonight?  I want to make sure that things are going to be perfect for Yukari today and I am hoping we got everything right here.” Joshua explained and Goto was the first to speak on behalf of the crew “Yep.  Seri even when to the trouble of finding a special item that she thought would be perfect for Yukari...don’t ask where she found it cos we don’t even know but she thought it would be perfect for his personality.” Ren explained and Joshua just smirked when he heard this.  Its good to know that somehow the memo of Yukari’s rather “eccentric” personality has made its way through the offices and it was even nicer when the Captain himself made his appearance looking around at the decorations that were put up. “You really went all out for this didn’t you Joshua?” Reisi asked and Joshua just nodded in response.  “Its good to see that you care a lot about Yukari and after what he did for you years ago when he personally broke you out of JUNGLE’s clutches that was a very interesting turn.  It is why tonight...there is something I ,the Blue King of this clan, would formally like to make an offer to him myself if that is alright with you and we can do that at the party tonight.” The Captain explained and Joshua had to have a long think about this but he knew one other thing...THIS is something he has properly wanted for a whiled and having this put out there made him answer only one way “I would like that very much Captain” Later that night Joshua knew that the party was going to be at about 7 PM and but when he texted Yukari it was about 5 and it turned out that he was at HOMRA.  THIS was an interesting development because usually Yukari would only go there to pick Joshua up from work so that kind of worried him but nonetheless he asked him in a text to come to Scepter 4 at at about 6:55 PM...why he picked that time was interesting because he didn’t even know but he also made one other request “Use the main entrance” The reason for this is obvious:  Yukari has a REALLY BAD HABIT of coming in through his window and that did creep him out a little bit so for tonight he asked for Yukari to do this and he accepted the offer. Now knowing that he was being asked to come to Scepter 4 special tonight Yukari excused himself and went home to get dressed properly.  Not that he ever DOESN’T show up to Joshua’s work properly but if he was being asked to come special tonight then dang it he was gonna make himself stand out...then again this was ALSO going to serve Joshua for forgetting the past 2 years about his birthday (OOPS) and if he was gonna come he was gonna be damn near a neon sign on his body...alright that was a little off but he sometimes does like to dress a “little extra” for his significant other and its one thing that Joshua can definitely appreciate. When Yukari got to the building at the time mentioned in the text (actually it was 5 minutes earlier but hey its all good) he looked up at the top of the stairs and of course Joshua was there but so was another dear friend and student of his Eiji Otori *record scratch* “WHAT?!” Alright so the abridged version there was that Raging asked HEAVENS to try and find more work outside of just the Idol gig because ,since the Triple S, things have been slower than normal, and he wanted to see what they would do to supplement.  Well somehow through talking to Joshua our good friend in Eiji got hooked up with Scepter 4 (and he kind of plays the role of “Extra Parent to the Youngbloods”) and now whenever there are special occasions (like today) he helps with some decorations ,cooking...and keep the Captain in check when he sometimes goes off on weird tangents.  You actually would NOT believe how often that is “Otori-San” Yukari began “I wasn’t expecting you to appear tonight.  There must be something going on tonight if you are here no?” Yukari asked but Eiji didn’t buckle and answered as honestly as he could “No not really.  I just wanted to make sure that everything was going alright with the Captain and everyone here.  We just about have a full house tonight cos there is a special meeting of some sorts going on and they asked me to help with the food and that is why I’m here.” Eiji explained and Joshua was shocked at how well his Junior went through that explanation without a falter and after that Joshua looked at his watch and realized it was just about time. “Well its time for you to come with us.  I’m not TOTALLY sure what this meeting is about but if we got everyone here then...it must be important so could you come this way with us...oh and please leave your sword if you brought it (busted) because I doubt you’ll be needing that tonight.” Joshua explained and Yukari did as requested.  How Joshua knew he had his sword on him was another matter entirely but EYY what can you do right? When the (now trio) got to the front door of the Scepter 4 office Joshua allowed Yukari ahead of himself and Eiji and when Yukari walked in he realized the light was out he flipped it on only to hear  “SURPRISE!” YEP...The entire Blue Clan (as I’m sure you figured out) had planned a party for Yukari with Joshua’s help and its been building for a good while.  It was something that Joshua WANTED to do but there were times when he was hesitant to ask because of the idea that he was worried about celebrating the birthday of someone that left JUNGLE.  The Captain of course was far more receptive to the idea than he could POSSIBLY have imagined! “HAPPY BIRTHDAY SENPAI!” The Entire Youngblood quartet exclaimed and Yukari just bowed to them and when the other members such as Akiyama and company came up and wished him a happy birthday he was very much overcome.  It was one thing for him and Joshua to have a “private day” together (which is what he thought would happen) but as the birthday wishes continued the man that everyone thought could have been one of the more “extra” and in some cases “emotionless” people given where he came from...they got to see something else from him and when he turned and saw Joshua with a smile on his face because he got the reaction that he wanted all Yukari could do was hug him because THIS ALONE was very special but things were only going to get better! As the party officially started (complete with everyone singing him “Happy Birithday”) Joshua got out something that had been found interestingly enough by Kusanagi and sent over a day before the birthday:  A very special crown that literally would have his name engraved in it and when Joshua asked about that a few days earlier Kusa just said “You would be surprised the friends I have...one of them actually is some idol that works for Shining Agency and he respects Yukari too much to NOT have this done!” Joshua put 2 and 2 together to figure out it was Camus but the Baron didn’t show to the party because he knew it was Yukari’s day and this was supposed to be FOR HIM so he graciously bowed out and Joshua respected that. AND THEN... As the night was getting ready to wrap up and everyone was enjoying some good food (no real “drinks” because Joshua wanted to make sure everyone could make it home safe and Yukari respected this as did everyone) Joshua kept thinking about this “offer” that Munakata was going to have for him and he wondered what it was going to entail...the good news is he wasn’t going to have to wait long! After the food was chowed down on and Yukari got some presents (and some nice ones too...nothing like the crown but one was literally a plaque that said “Best Teacher 4ever” which was nice) Munakata stood up from his spot at the table and walked down to where Joshua and Yukari were and this is when it got interesting. “Mr. Mishakuji.  It its very well known that you did something that very few would have expected.  You rescued one of my men when they were being beaten up and tortured by the clan with whom you were a high ranking member of.  Its that kind of sacrifice that has been noted by myself ,Seri and no doubt Joshua.  You have become such a part of his life that I couldn’t just let you walk out of here without making an offer.” And when Muna finished this Joshua kind of knew where this was going and this was only supplemented when he saw Eiji walk out with a brand new uniform...he wasn’t going to...was he? “Yukari.  I know this might be a difficult question to answer right now so I don’t expect one here...but when the time comes for you I would like you to know that this offer is going to stand for a very long time.  We have a spot in Scepter 4 that just op--” But before Munakata could finish Yukari took off his crown because he was about to bolt up and give his answer in 0.2 seconds “YES!” To say that there were people in the room stunned at how quickly he accepted would be an understatement but it was very much welcome for sure!  When he finished his answer he turned to Joshua and embraced him and also...for one of the few time that anyone can remember they kissed publicly but everyone was happy for them because if there was one thing they learned it was this Be it Scepter 4 or Jungle ,unarmed or armed, Yukari Mishakuji now PROPERLY FORMERLY of JUNGLE had become in many ways Joshua’s sword and much more...and there wasn’t a darn thing that JUNGLE could do about it Then again...Yukari is full of a lot of surprises...and especially when it comes to his birthday! Happy belated Birthday Yukari...you are loved and will always be loved and just remember that!

2017.10.26-27 K: Missing Kings Stage - Review!

I was super duper lucky enough to go to this three times! As you may know, Hide got injured the second day of K Stage in Kyoto so for Tokyo his had a body-double, but that didn’t stop me from being any less excited as fuck for this! I was a little unsure of how the next cast would fair beforehand, - especially Natsuki and Kido (UGH KIDO...) - but anyway lets start going in order...

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: If we ignore how bad of an actor Kido is, and how damn short this play is (even though it’s 8000yen a ticket), and the fact that the first 30 minutes is a damn boring waste of a digest of the first two stages; this play is so good! The project mapping was spectacular, the music - as always - superb, the choreography and the fight scenes were so, so good and complex and so fast paced; I fell in LOVE with Moritoki (Hide’s body double) straight away; badass as fuuuck. He did AMAZING! I cried at this stage at least two or three different times throughout one showing; I LOVE the new Shiro!! The new Neko is adorable too! They were so faithful to the movie also, and the scenes they did extend were done very well! It’s a shame they didn’t bring back Idol K for this stage though (it was in the third one). Rating: 8/10

SPOILER REVIEW

My tickets were weird. I went from bad seat to alright seat to the best seat. Even though my best seat was my biggest gamble - it was a MiKire seat which means there’s a chance you’ll get a seat which blocks part of the stage but it ended up being 4th fucking row! It was SUCH a good seat! My seating went: 26th: 3rd Floor, First row, center right. 27th: First Floor, 2nd to last row, first seat on the left. AND First floor, 4th Row, First seat on the left. I had amazing views every single time! I am so happy with how well I got to see everything, as well as the fact I got to see it three damn time ^_^

Anyway you’re all here to hear about the play right?! Lets go!

As I said previously in the non-spoiler section; the stage follows the film faithfully; it’s almost an exact copy of the movie. But to make the time longer, they extended a few scenes and/or added higawari scenes too. They extended the Yukari/Kuro flashback scene a little more with Kuro and their master actually talking to Yukari in the flashback. 

They also extended the Yata birthday flashback and added a higawari into it where Yata has to flip his skateboard. So here’s that information:

26th - Night Show: UeChan failed the first flip but succeeded on the second one. But after the first one, the skateboard almost slipped off-stage which was a little scary.  27th - Afternoon Show: Took him two attempts again, but before he tried it the second time, the rest of Red Gang were egging him on like ‘you can do it! You can do it!’ and UeChan was like ‘SHUT UP! I can’t concentrate!’. 27th - Evening Show: UeChan got really nervous before even his first flip and Kusanaga was like ‘calm down. It’s okay!’ and UeChan went ‘shhh! .. If I do this.. it’ll be sunny tomorrow,’ and then he managed to do the flip perfectly the first time and yelled ‘TOMORROW THERE WILL BE SUN!’ xD so cute.

I really love this scene because we get really involved, both audience and cast. We get to clap when Yata gets his skateboard present and we all clapped when he succeeded in the flip, then we all clapped and sang when they did Happy Birthday for Yata - it was so good!

Also, before the show began, two of the Spector guys would do the Rules and Welcome message. But every time it was a little different. The first show one of them dropped his sword, perfectly timed, and Awashima and Fushimi walked on stage and looked at him in disgust before leaving xD And then the third show I saw he went ‘there is no Idol K... let me repeat... No Idol K...’ so clearly fans had been complaining in the anketto/questionnaire about there being no Idol K -- glad I’m not alone with that.

I want to split this review into good and bad things about this stage and then go in-depth on some points...

GOODS POINTS: Lighting, projection mapping, music, action scenes, action choreography, higawaris, comedy scenes, the body double, the new cast, the costumes, the serious/comedy balance, they extended the Kuro/Yukari and the Yata flashback scenes a little.

For some reason - maybe because it was my first time seeing K in real life - but I felt the lighting this time was so on-point and so great! We had all these flashes and some really funky lighting sequences going on; I also love the red/purple/blue they have going on when characters are on stage - they’ve had that in previous stages too - but I fell like this time, the lighting was so much more of an apparent character! I wonder how well it’ll show up on DVD though...

While the fight scenes are technically rather short - shorter than what I was expecting -, the choreography is actually phenomenal. I didn’t realise the first time around but upon my second and third, I realised just how FAST PACED the fight scenes are; especially the final one between Kuro and Yukari; it’s a short scene (technically) but the pace at which they fight and twirl and run up and down steps.

Seriously, I can totally understand HOW Hide got injured when the pacing of the fight is THAT fast, it’s so easy to miss the stairs and fall up them or land wrong as you spin around, or accidentally clashing into MakiChan because you lost your balance a little; I totally get HOW Hide could’ve gotten injured in this stage - the speed is just out of this world for most of the fight scenes. A lot of jumping up steps too during the fight scenes! Even with UeChan’s fight scenes he jumped up and down stairs! So he could’ve been easily injured too!

Lets ignore the unfortunate outcomes of the fight scenes for a moment to go back and being more positive: The fight scenes are SO good in this one! I really, really, really love the big fight scene between Kuro and Yukari so much and how they incorporated the projection mapping to make it look like they jumping between buildings and flying through the air and Kuro trying to hang onto the edge of a windowsill and stuff! So great! Also freaking MakiChan doing a one handed cartwheel in the middle of one of his fight scenes! I didn’t realise the first time but the second time I realised he used only one hand! I don’t think even I can do that anymore!! I didn’t think he was any-acrobatically-inclined but clearly he can do some basics which really impressed me! I kinda want to challenge him during his next fan event now; try a cartwheel, try the splits, can you do a handstand etc. xD 

Technically not a fight scene but when Neko uses her Trick Magic and we have the projection mapping which shows the giant cats she created attacking the bad guys and barging through the halls - so good!

Sticking to the Project Mapping: I love how they introduced Anna’s dream scene! They have a short clip of Anna waking up in this pristine white bed and then getting up and walking towards the camera; which we then go back to what’s actually happening on stage. Karin (Anna) is so beautiful in that clip <3 is that creepy? I like seeing her wake up face? xD

Going onto some comedy scenes: the comedy in this is SO up my street! I was giggling and laughing so hard at times! A few scenes that stick out to me are:

1. The Ninja Scene between Muna (Ono) and Saru (Kido): they have video evidence of someone who can go through walls stealing Anna and Muna’s automatic response is ‘this is a ninja!’, about three or four times Saru tries to correct him and tell him it’s not a ninja but Muna is so set on calling this guy a ninja that Saru gives up. It was so well done and the fact that Ono keeps a straight face and all calm as he’s like ‘this ninja is something! NINJA!’ is what makes it even more hilarious.

2. Another scene is between Kuro and Yata when they meet inside the infiltrated, Green Clan over-taken building and they started aruging and end up rubbing and pushing their heads against each other’s - I thought it was funny every single time. I can just imagine MakiChan and UeChan having so much fun internally with this scene**

3. I also loved the main fighting scene for Yata but he grabs one of the Green Clan members by the jacket and it unzips and reveals a woman’s chest and bra and he freaks out and runs to the other end of the stage going ‘ARGH! WOMAN!!!’ xD Also later in the stage when it’s revealed that the “ninja” is actually a woman too, he freaks out again and almost hides behind Kuro and grabs onto Kuro’s arm! It’s totally amusing AND adorable at the same time! I wonder why Yata is ‘afraid’ of girls xD or he just doesn’t like the thought of fighting a woman? We’ll see xD

4. We get a SUPER hilarious moment from Kuro after he and Yata stop fighting and Kuro plays a recording of his master and he gets SUPER fangirly and actually full on squeals - literally like a ‘KYAAA!!’ type squeal - it’s fucking hilarious! I legit think UeChan does partially crack up laughing every time MakiChan does that moment! It’s so good! Cannot wait to plaster it ALL OVER THE INTERNET when the DVD comes out! xD

So there’s some comedy teasers for you to look forward to!

Now onto:

BAD POINTS: Kido, 30 mins digest is a waste of time, too short, the flashback scenes still could’ve been extended, Kandai’s voice.

I don’t want to spend too much on the negative points so I’ll get through them quickly. Kido keeps being cast as if Marvelous has decided ‘guys this is Suzuki Hiroki’s replacement’ which really pisses me off. I’ve never been impressed with his acting; I don’t think he’s particularly good. And Marv isn’t helping him by giving him shoes he very clearly cannot fill. He’s an atrocious Arakita (Yowamushi Pedal) - he just looks like he’s trying way too hard to match the version of Arakita Suzuki made -, and he’s the exact same here; he’s not made Saruhiko his own; it just looks like he’s watched Suzuki (and Anzai)’s performances as Saruhiko and copied those. It’s so cringey. Please get him replaced asap and start giving him roles he can actually do instead of hiring him for every role Suzuki USED to do. That 30 minute digest at the beginning of the stage man - what a waste of time. When the two Scepter guys explained at the opening that there’s a 30 minute digest, I legit automatically blurted out ‘30 MINUTES?!’ seriously, it’s boring as fuck. No real fan in their right mind would go to the 4TH STAGE of a stage series without A. watching the previous stages, or B. watching the anime or original format of the story, or C. researching what the hell it’s all about beforehand. Any fan who DOES go into a stage series that’s well into it’s counts without researching or spending a little time to get to know it is stupid as fuck and doesn’t deserve to be at that stage! I think it’s actually insulting to fans (and a waste of time) that they thought it was a good idea to ‘explain what happened in the previous stage’ -- we’re 2.5 fans! WE ALL BLOODY REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED! Hell some of us rewatched the stages AND the Missing Kings movie the day BEFORE we went to the freaking show! I cannot express enough what a boring 30 minutes it was every. damn. time. Such a waste of 30 minutes. Which leads to my next point: TOO SHORT! Take the 30 minutes out and you’ve got a 1hr15 play! What the actual fuck?! You’re telling me you couldn’t extend the movie past it’s original runtime?! Fuck off. You could’ve done so much with this stage! You could’ve EVEN , instead of a digest, thrown in flashbacks WITHIN and THROUGHOUT the stage itself - you did it easily with Yata’s birthday flashback/video so why not do it a further 2 or 3 times too?! It’s not difficult! You could've brought Idol K back - which clearly fans were annoyed was NOT back after the third stage. You could’ve extended the fight scenes (instead of making them so fast paced and technically). You could’ve added extra scenes, made scenes up, made some more character development scenes - like scenes of Kuro and Neko searching more for Shiro before Anna turns up, or showed more of Yata struggling to get by in life now that the Red Clan has broken up, or made a really good reuinion scene between Yata and Fushimi, you literally could’ve just added a bit more information that the movie doesn’t - K Project is well known for not fully explaining and/or being confusing, but the stages have done a damn good job of making things much clearer, so you could’ve done that! Maybe show more flashbacks between Kuro and Yukari to show just how deep their ‘brotherly’ love went. Hell, even extend the Anna finally seeing Totsuka and Mikoto again because that was way too short in the stage. It would’ve been so easy to extend this stage and stuff have it fun, enjoyable, meaningful and not feel like a massive waste of time. This stage is 8000yen a ticket and you’re not going to give me AT LEAST 2 hours of stage time? What a rip off! I am so very much pissed about how damn short this stage is. Final one is Kandai’s voice as Mikoto; it really grated on it; it was like this ‘I’m so lazy I can’t even be arsed talking’ mumble and it was super annoying and super difficult to hear; it almost sounded like his mic was HALF the volume of everyone else’s because it was so difficult to understand what he was lazily mumbling out most of the time.

OKAY BACK TO FUN STUFF!

Scenes I Want to Mention/Comment

There was only one good thing about the digest: all the hugging and holding. We had Fushimi holding a collapsed Yata, Muna holding a dead Mikoto and I think we had Kuro holding Shiro. Also when I was on the third balcony, the re-enacted the whole Muna getting ontop of Mikoto scene and from my seat, it looked like they were kissing which made me excited xD silly brain >.<

I think I already lightly mentioned but, I cried so hard at Anna’s dream scene every single time! She’s just so adorable and when she sees Mikoto, she runs into his arms and he hugs her and it’s just so beautiful *cries* also I love Karin so freaking much!

Moritoki always got the biggest applause every damn time and he bloody deserves it! The audience had so much love and respect for him!

Acting Points

I’ll mainly be commenting on the new cast.

Shiba Konona as Neko: I’m going to be honest, Neko is a character who, if ever given the one in a billion chance, I would love to actually play her on stage. I’ve always liked Neko and I love her relationship with Shiro and Kuro and I love her mysterious and strange powers and just how much she pisse Kuro off in an adorable way, as well as her positivity even when the world is going to shit around them. Having said that, I really like the new actress they got for Neko this time so I expect to see her next time around! But yes,Marv, if you want a legit WHITE cat -- pick me! I’m not cute but I certainly want the role >.<

Nakao Kenya as Kamamoto Rikio: I really liked him as Rikio and I hope he continues in this series. He had a few higawaris which were great! There’s one scene where Rikio explains how he used to be fat but down he’s lost his appetite as well as weight since Mikoto was killed and at the end he always has thi little change in his words. I don’t remember what he said the first show but on the 27th (when I realised it was an higawari/adlibs) shows; the afternoon he said ‘sexy’ which people were too busy laughing from the previous joke to really hear, but in the night show he did this huge ‘WAOH!’ and even MakiChan cracked up laughing along with the rest of the crowd; it got a huge result! His clumsy, cute fight scene was nice too!

Osaki Natsuki as Shiro: He was/is totally Shiro! I was watching him and was like ‘I actually don’t remember Ryo’s Shiro at all.’ I sat there racking my brain trying to remember Ryo’s Shiro and I literally couldn’t imagine it. I just imagined ‘well he’d just look like..Ryo’, but Natsuki actually makes me think ‘hey there’s Shiro!’ rather than ‘oh that’s Ryo playing Shiro.’ And to be honest, Ryo only played Shiro once right (we don’t include the video he had in Lost Small World)?! And I don’t think any of us remember the first Shiro at all - I certainly don’t. But I am SO down for Natsuki as Shiro! I can’t wait for him in the next stage where we get to see Shiro much more! Natsuki did so good at being evil and being crazy, and then able to shift to this ‘omg what is happening! I’m scared of myself’ Shiro. He had a scale of emotions to work with in this one - especially because of the digest - and he did brilliant! Sometimes I was reminded of Nazuna (his character in Ensemble Stars) but that’s only natural because he’s using his natural voice in both stages.  really liked his final scene in this stage too! And his outfit in the final stage is gorgeous.

More Show Differences and Curtain Calls

I already mentioned the Yata Birthday scene differences but now here are some other, either scene differences or mistakes that I noticed/remembered:

26th

During the curtain call both Moritoki and Hide did greetings. Moritoki cried during his speech and explained how he’s not an actor and when he came on-board he would work from like 5am til midnight learning the lines and learning the fight scenes. MakiChan spent a lot of his time with Moritoki too which Moritoki said he was super thankful for that MakiChan spent so much time and late nights with him.

Towards the end MakiChan just had to lighten the mood by messing up his ending speech and UeChan next to him just cracked up laughing.

27th Afternoon

Unfortunately, Moritoki slipped a little during one of his fight scenes but very quickly recovered.

Also TokiEntertainment’s (MakiChan’s Ent Biz) Shachou was there! he was about 10 seats down from me! I freaked. Of course me and Shachou would go on the same day! xD

There’s another higawari where Kusanaga and Awashima are in the foreground and are on ‘pause’ while Muna and Fushimi talk; at the end of this conversation Muna asks Fushimi to join him in a doing his puzzle but Fushimi rejects him and walks off, and every time when we went back to Awa/Kusa’s scene, Kusa would start by commenting on Fushimi. During this show he said ‘I think he’s bad at puzzles (that’s why he doesn’t want to do them)’ xD

No greeting during the curtain call, but at the end UeChan and Kido were laughing hard because MakiChan messed up like three times during curtain call and even though UeChan was alughing harder, MakiChan slapped Kido against his chest and Kido looked shocked and asssaulted >.< everyone was laughing at him xD such a good moment!

27th Night

The reply from Kusa this show was ‘BUT puzzles are good!’ xD

No greeting again from anyone, but during the curtain call, MakiChan didn’t mess up this time! UeChan was so shocked which caused us all to laugh at MakiChan yet again.

Everyone wanted freaking MakiChan/Kuro again which was a total pain -__- but getting Shiro was so freaking easy >.<

MISC

K-Stage had some really bad luck this year; first we had Hide’s accident and then it turns out; apparently on the last day; MakiChan almost collapsed from either low blood-sugar or anemia. Also UeChan got injured and apparently he had to have two stitches near/next to his eye; he’s been wearing an eye patch too the past couple of days. I hope he feels better soon! Also MakiChan spent the Monday after K-Stage finished in bed all day with a fever >.< I keep telling these boys to take some fucking time off but they just won’t! -_- *sigh*

BUT Ending on a positive:

Both MakiChan and UeChan had streams the Monday/Tuesday after K-Stage properly finished and both of them talked about how they ended up kissing each other twice! Apparently the conversation was something like ‘if I have to kiss someone for a stage. No problem. Doesn’t mean anything’ and then the other was like ‘well I can do it too!’ hence all the kisses between them. ALL the fans went freaking wild! xD MakiChan was super drunk when he told us and after he finished the story he went ‘what the hell am I talking about?! Let’s move on!’ xD also UeChan apparently (I only watched MakiChan’s stream) said at the end of the story something like ‘what is with the TokiEnta Boys and kissing?!’ because last year TakaChan (Takasaki Shouta) got drunk and kissed UeChan on video xD It’s a pretty easy video/screenshot to find.**

CHAPTER 5: “NAGARE.02” (Complete)

"Emerald smoke for you..."

Hearing the familiar voice, Sukuna Gojo raised his face.

A scrambled intersection in Shizume where many people come and go. It projected a familiar face onto a huge screen that dominated him. It was a popular idol, Mishakuji Yukari, who belongs to the same unofficial office as Sukuna, "Jungle Pro".

"A stranger in the mirror. Yes, that's true. That's you."

As he waits for the traffic light, he looks up in amazement.

He knew he was in a cosmetic commercial, but Yukari uses feminine cosmetics by all means. Sukuna thinks that even though he is a decent man, it is amazing that he does not feel any discomfort in such commercials.

"Oh, it's Yukari-sama! I have to take a picture!"

"It's true, me too! I'll miss the points!"

A couple of women waiting for a stoplight with Sukuna hastily pulled out their PDAs and pointed them at the screen. They were probably users of "Jungle", the official application of "Jungle Pro". You can get various benefits by photographing the idol it belongs to and posting it on SNS. Sukuna relaxed before the two people who were continuously photographing while making a fuss about it.

One of them suddenly turned to Sukuna.

When he thought about it, he had perfect eye contact. The woman's eyes widened in the blink of an eye. A woman's voice is launched at Sukuna's back, who puts the hoodie back on and returns.

"Maybe Sukuna-kun?! A lie?! I can't see you here!"

Sukuna glared at Yukari on the screen with resentment.

"You have to take good care of your fans, Sukuna-chan. We idols have fans, so remember what Yukari once said."

"Hey, look at me! If possible, with the screen in the background! It's definitely a high point to be able to photograph two people together!"

The woman got excited and approached Sukuna while she held her PDA. The moment he turned his face, he could see the flash burning. That was not very pleasant.

Several options occurred to his, and Sukuna finally decided to stick with his beliefs rather than Yukari's words.

In other words, he turned around and ran away.

"Oh, wait!"

There was nothing to look forward to. Still, he was shocked because the women pursued him with all their might.

Whether they want that many points or are Sukuna fans, Sukuna got into a back alley.

"Hey, wait a minute."

That woman chased him to that point. Although she had no shoes or clothes that would make it easy to run in, she had a lot of guts and wrapped her tongue inside. However, he was sorry for running too much, so Sukuna decided to go "upstairs".

The left and right are the walls of the building. Sukuna kicked the left wall and jumped, clambered up the rain gutter using the outdoor unit as a trampoline, attached herself to the emergency stairs, and looked down.

The woman forgot to hold her PDA and looked at Sukuna in a daze.

Like a fan service at least, Sukuna looked down and stuck his tongue out making a face.

"Tsu!"

By the time the woman hastily took her PDA, Sukuna had already climbed the emergency stairs to the roof of the building.

At that moment, Sukuna's PDA rang with a ringtone. Sukuna took it and straddled the air conditioning duct.

"Sukuna, the fans must appreciate you."

Hisui Nagare, the "Green Idol King", said such a thing.

Sukuna pursed his lips. A security network with surveillance cameras is established in Shizume. With Nagare's "Idol King" ability, it's easy to break into that network.

However, if it is said that it is the skill that an idol must have, there is no choice but to squint.

"I know, so I guess I rounded it up early."

As he sat on the chute, he pursed his mouth further, showing his annoyance. At the tumbled intersection, the images changed, and Misaki Yata from "Homura" began to perform a new number of popular idols.

"If you sign or shake hands in such a place, a lot of people will come to you. Even my fans, even those guys. If that's the case, I thought it would be better to run away quickly."

"I see. That may be the case. I understand."

"Hmm?" That was the first time he thought about it.

Somehow, he felt that something was wrong with Nagare's response. There was nothing unnatural in the conversation, but with the usual Nagare, there are two more things that can be pointed out philosophically.

"By the way, Sukuna. It was time for your game to go live. Do I have to prepare?"

A feeling of strangeness again.

The game commentary is a syndication event that Sukuna regularly hosts on the video publishing site "MORIMORI Video" operated by "Jungle Pro". Proceed with new and old games by trial and error. Playing is popular, especially with young people, and has garnered a considerable number of viewers. No wonder Nagare, the operator, worries about it.

"Did you say it was postponed during this time? I tweeted and listeners should know."

"It's true, that was the case. I understand."

After all, something was wrong. Nagare would never forget such a thing.

"Hey, Nagare? Haven't you been weird for a while?"

"What do you mean weird?"

"What is it? It's like a machine. Well, I always say you talk like a machine, but today it's more likely than ever."

There was silence for a few seconds. The feeling of strangeness became even greater. Is Nagare really on the other end of this call? A question like that suddenly came to Sukuna's mind.

"I didn't hear you right, please try again."

"You're not crazy, are you?"

The moment he yelled, he dropped the call. Sukuna opened his eyes and looked at the PDA screen. He had goose bumps around the back of his neck.

There was an incoming call again. He shrugged and stared at the screen for a few seconds, without answering the call.

"Eh?"

"It took you about 2 minutes to find out. Some experimental results were obtained. Thank you."

"……"

There was "emotion" in the depths of that voice. At least it sounded like that.

This Nagare is "real".

Maybe.

"Explain yourself."
