Yes. This scene.
They play it so Yukigumi, both throwing themselves into it head-first without caring whether they look pretty or have star quality or preserve the Takarazuka aesthetic. Instead they're true to the characters.

I've only seen four shows with Karincho - Kono Koi, Chuushingura, Andre to Oscar and Elisabeth, where she was the most striking Sophie - but her stage presence is so show-stopping that she's in my top five. She throws herself head-first into the role, unafraid to seem ridiculous or weak or ugly. The voice, the determination, the ability to hold the audience in the palm of her hand - this is what Yukigumi is.

I am not going to liveblog Kono Koi Wa Kumo No Hate Made now, because it's half past eight on a work night, but I have to note that Karincho's voice in the opening goes right to the bone. And then Icchan in full dignified swing. M'lady may not be the best at jazz dancing, but traditional, she can do <3

Honestly, people, Yukigumi doesn't bite. It does, however, specialise in strong dramatic performances and is probably closer to Tsuki in style than most other troupes. Miyurin will do great with Chigi!

Hypothesis: Yukigumi top stars are the best-aging people in existence.
