i booted up swtor thru steam and was retroactively awarded over 125 achievements 😳

also the difference in graphics resolution between the old laptop i played swtor on (example screencap on the left) and the resolution on my current desktop (example screencap on the right) is soooo funny

my swtor character got "womp rat fever"?? and i have literally no idea how to get it 'treated', the medical droids don't sell anything relevant

ive been focusing on the class origin stories in swtor that i haven't finished which are imperial agent, republic trooper, and jedi knight. and ive GOTTA say,. i hate the imperial agent line. like a lot. it's not interesting/compelling to me

my favorite class storyline is sith inquisitor. and second favorite is smuggler.

i played about 2 hrs of swtor and im starting to see why i abandoned it, it's like. only vaguely fun tbh

I fucking hate the writing in swtor oh my god I forgot how bad it is at some parts. There's a secret prison planet that the "good guys" run and if youre with them, the planet's storyline revolves around you helping them retake the prison after a jailbreak and subsequent rioting. And u don't get to be like hey what the fuck. If you don't want to help your only option is to ignore the questline. And it's like supposed to paint the "good guys" in a shade of grey but it doesn't acknowledge how truly fucked up it is

And i totally forgot about that. And now I'm mad and don't wanna play anymore

u used to be able to spam giving gifts to your companions in swtor and raise their influence levels and very quickly go thru their storylines, no matter what point you were in at the main storyline, which would sometimes spoil things i thnk because like one companion betrays you and i think?? you could get dialogue about the fall out before he even does it and anyway they patched that, you still have to raise their influence levels but you can only go thru a couple of their convos MAXIMUM between planets. and planets can take anywhere from 30 mins to hours to complete depending on how thorough you're being. i don't remember where i was going with this anyway

ive been doing the bonus planet storylines in swtor which are separate from the required class storyline and basically they're for getting extra exp (free-to-play players get exp at a lower rate than ppl with subs so they generally need the boost but i bought a 1 month sub) and i literally don't even need to do them because im usually 10+ levels ABOVE THE LEVEL CAP. and i don't even like them, i don't think they're fun. it's just the completionist in me

i was thinkiong about star wars and specifically the love interest choices in swtor and i was like "[in star wars,] everyone should be bisexual unless they are not" do u understnad what i mean.
