Note
Ok but imagine zero.exe crushing on someone who’s lowkey afraid of him (bc he is kinda scary looking and also a literal virus)
He’s terrifying
*Zero.exe is aware of how scary he looks/is, but there is one person that he would never want to scare: you.
*he has no idea why he has these feelings towards you, but he does, and he wants to show you that he’s not always scary
*you try to show him that you’re not scared of him, but you really are. You don’t have a clue about his feelings, just the fact that he wants to be around you
*he kept his feelings towards you hidden, as if afraid that if he told you, it would only make you run away from him or worse.
*Zero.exe can be a bit protective of you at times, as he doesn’t want to see you hurt. You’re the only one who can actually calm him down in these moments.

Zero (MMZ series) as he “appears” in the Mega Man Battle Network series.
I say “appears” in quotation marks because this form of Zero doesn’t technically make an appearance in said series (due to the fact that a character based off of Zero, aka Zero.EXE already appears in the series, as well as the character ProtoMan.EXE also being based off of both Proto Man and Zero (in terms of design)) and I can’t help but feel like that these art styles were used to promote some sort of e-reader bonus or something between the Battle Network and Zero series.
But hey, at least Zero (MMZ) looks really awesome in this style. Made more fitting by the fact that both Zero (MMZ) and MegaMan.EXE appeared together in the crossover fighting game Onimusha Blade Warriors.
