*Remembers that they’re who made this post* *Combines that with the reason why they split established one long-awaited episode later* ... [Insert GIF of an angry Tyra Banks here] It’s all Adam’s fault, but bring on Eve, and all of the delicious drama that she brings!

Wow!
I’m both impressed by, and scared of/disgusted with, myself because I already have the PERFECT actor to recast as Zero/Gideon if Adam is completely gone and that’s what the situation calls for.
Kind of looks enough like Adam?✔️
Has very recently found himself unemployed?✔️
Has experience playing 'Gets-caught-with-prostitutes smug white boy who feels unwanted by those whom raised him, whom aren’t his parents, and falls for a self-empowered black woman he’s in a sham relationship with when she’s still hung up on her ex who’s also black'?✔️
Has experience playing 'Head-over-heels for a sweet and neurotic gay boy whose crush on this actor’s character made him admit his sexuality'?✔️ ... Did I forget to mention that his character also just hung out at the guy’s house like he lived there with out even being invited?
Has experience playing a basketball player with religion being a major part of his image?✔️
(I can’t make this stuff up. It’s all real.)
... If any one could/has to (I!👏🏽 Don’t!👏🏽 Want!👏🏽 Adam!👏🏽 To!👏🏽 Go!👏🏽), take over as Zero/Gideon, it’s as though Wade Briggs’s entire career so far has set him up to be the ideal candidate to do so.
Dislike me all you want for this. I dislike myself for it more.

Something I don't understand in HTF is, why did Jude want to go on a date with Raquel before the Zude storyline started. Did he not realize he was gay before kissing Zero? Or was he questioning his sexuality for a long time, and when he and Zero hooked up he realized he is gay after all? Like, there were other things in the past were he had crushes on other guys that it all made sense? Sometimes he liked girls but he realized it was not romantic or sexual attraction? Does that make sense?
It’s my take that Jude had always been trying so hard impress Oscar, and the other males in his life, in the role of a son, because of Oscar’s absence that he didn’t even think to try to connect the dots to the fact that there might be an other reason why he’s particularly keen on impressing men. Men like Oscar (the men that Jude has likely has spent all of his life trying to gain approval from as a son figure) place high value on a woman’s beauty, desire to stake a claim to it (look at how nervous he was around Marcus Douglas, and bravo to Zero for knowing that he had boast about his man, because Jude would be too modest to properly assert himself in front of a guy like Marcus), and are often homophobic. Jude asking Raquel out was conceivably the culmination of seeking validation directly from Oscar (Raquel was stunning and well within Oscar’s normal line of sight on regular occasions), bowing to the growing pressure that his subconscious was putting on his psyche due to his underlying attraction to Zero, and the reactionary repression these factors cause in the vicious cycle that self-acceptance can be. You’re right, though, Nony, it is a little strange that it appears as though Jude hadn’t even started to question his sexuality until seemingly his mid-to-late twenties.

The universe will have to pry this notion from my dead-cold hands.
With Shondaland moving to Netflix, there is now a renewed glimmer of hope that more of “Still Star-Crossed” will see the light of day (YAY!!!), but that doesn’t mean that Wade Briggs can’t take over as Zero/Gideon if Adam Senn will not reprise the role and Wade continues to portray (brilliantly) Benvolio Montague. *Points to Logan, McKinley, and Rob (is Rob coming back?) whom all signed on to starring/reoccurring roles ‘post-”Hit-The-Floor”’ alongside other actors, such as Shamier Anderson, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jack Falahee, Aisha Hinds, Adina Porter, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, and Jerry Ferrara - just naming the ones off of the top of my head - whom have also recently signed on to play starring/considerable reoccurring roles on multiple series that have had overlapping production spans, and tells you that’s kind of typical of Australian actors, plus, Zero/Gideon is written as a considerably younger player than Derek and Terrence, and Adam doesn't look younger than McKinley or Rob whilst Wade does*

Representation matters, and, as much as I adore Adam, the character, in this situation, has more value than an actor in a role, and it was Wade’s birth day yesterday (Thursday). Give him the gift of shining on two great, and inclusive, shows!

Representation matters!
(So, I just sent an non-proof-read version of most of this directly to a self-identified straight person - I'm obviously not going to say who - who wants, not just Zero/Gideon, but the whole relationship of Zude, to be written off of the show instead of recasting the one character, because they're a shipper, and they don't think that it'll be the same with out Adam, and they're right, it won't, but I think that the entire fandom should read why that's the lesser argument)
Further disclaimer: Previously in the conversation, this individual seem oblivious as to why they and I are not equal authorities on the subject, and I couldn’t see it as any thing other than ignorance/unbeknownst arrogance.
As a fan of a character, I would think that you would want those whom share a rarely-genuinely-seen-in-the-media intimate part of that character's identity to have representation, and in as many displays as possible. Zero/Gideon's existence on screen represents the potential successes a bisexual person can achieve in a way that no other character I've ever seen has. The fact that some one who doesn't know the plight of being bisexual, let alone any kind of queer, is trying to excuse scrapping the presence of a successful-to-the-point-of-fame, well-written, bisexual who's in a loving relationship with some one of the same sex, and also is successful and kind-of in the public eye, just because the character's (straight) actor can't remain in the role is a major insult to all of us whom would take offense, because we have met the certain struggles that come from being bisexual, and continue to strive for success.
------------------
No, it won’t be the same with out Adam, but it could be even better if they have to recast Zero/Gideon (*cough* Wade Briggs *cough*). This has nothing to do with Adam (I love Adam!) and every thing to do with necessary progressive representation.

This edict deserves its own post.
James just proved that it’s possible, and achievable, so Adi can do it, too, do not give up yet!
