🍉: Does your OC have a particular piece of jewellery that they always wear or refuse to part with?

for berr and zis, no, but for remy YES!

he had this moonstone necklace, most likely given to him by his mother, which held artificial dark magic inside of it. he always held it on him, and it showed how little or how much magic he had at the time.

after he unlocked his true magic, it shattered into pieces, but he reassembled everything he could find to make a new necklace! i havrnt designed it yet but it's gold and sparkly :]

🍓: Does your OC have any particular scents they like? Or hate?

aside from grass, remy...does not like the smell of alcohol! at all! even in cooking, sometimes. he also likes the smell of flowers, which he links to a certain throuple of course...

masa doesnt like the smell of some cooked meats for reasons she cant quite explain, and she loves the smell of frey's weird perfumes

🎂: Has your OC have any contradictory interests or traits to the first preception people have of them? How do they surprise people?

well when you first meet masa she has this very confident persona. she seems to have everything figured out: she's got a job, a good social life, a kid and a stable house... but inside she's just an anxious, shy mess of a person who really just wants to stay home and cry all day. this becomes WAY worse when she becomes a magical girl

for q... ehhh, not really? they don't really have any contradictory interests - they're a twitch streamer who used to be a stand-up comedian. the only thing you wouldn't expect is how transgender they are

🍩: What's a crime your OC is most likely to commit? What's a crime they're most likely to get arrested for?

for remy this is hilarious bc in an objection dot lol session i had w. some friends remy was accused of stealing a single pencil case. he had a solid alibi, ten eyewitnesses who saw him where he said he was, and absolutely no evidence against him except for a torn piece of paper that said "he stole it at. 13:98" and he still got convicted. he is most likely to cause massive property damage

berro's crime is abolishing the monarchy. he gets away with it.

zismith canonically smokes weed medicinally but it's legal as long as you dont walk around smoking weed everywhere. he is most likely to get arrested for that however

q would be put in jail for becoming a tumblr funnyman

q & zismith..WHERE do i even START.

acting as mentor figures for masa (who's also in this tournmanemtnt!!! hey masa!!! hi!!!!), these two Not-American streamers make most of their money by... streaming.

q gained massive amounts of popularity after a joke but /serious stream where q talked about the Actual average person compared to the Movie average person, raising awareness on a lot of topics such as the existence of transgender people and the fact that white people are super exotic

zismith mostly became popular for his completely voiceless streams where you could see he was talking but he never had his mic on. he also tended to comedically interrupt q while q played Risque games on request, although this was never scripted they always acted like it was regular

zismith's history is a bit of a....mystory..... only q knows anything medical or where exactly he came from, and he doesn't really like talking about it. he's vegan for medical reasons, and attended a prestigious college - although, he only ever took classes alone due to his Autism.

q's history is something they'll vaguely mention as a joke during streams, but q rarely seriously talks about it. when they were a child, they spent a large amount of time reading and writing poetry - their parents, loving art, were initially happy about this, although things turned more sour when they began neglecting their other studies and their poems became a bit more... personal. they were very desperate to go against the stereotypes people made about those living in their country, such as that they're lazy or particularly rude, and ended up overworking themself into extreme burnout without even their poems to give them any peace.

they left home as soon as possible, ended up meeting zismith and masa, and their life turned for the significantly better when they did.

the two live together, extremely happy even if they'll never be able to get married due to the laws in Not-America making it impossible for them to do so on account of their disabilities. they frequently voice call masa - and, later, berro - providing advice, funny cat memes, and basically everything you'd associate with two 50-somethings who live alone, together

they adopted princess and neo (who are ALSO in this tournament!!!) after finding the two dying, dehydrated and starving, in the desert. they nearly left the two there in fear of retribution from picking up an inkling child, but princess assured them that he couldn't do them any harm, which is good because nu is a very special little boy (although princess is more special.)

they later sort of take in neo-3 (who is my partner's oc!!!!) after they device to help with defending the secret trade routes

they love each other very deeply, although i don't know how to describe their personalities and i dont have any more backstory MCVBMCMVB

for this, let's go with the three with canon family members: kikki, finch and masa!

kikki and finch... do NOT look like each other. at all whatsoever. in fact, in their original story, finch was adopted! i still haven't decided if i want to go with that or not, but i'll probably scrap it.

i think regardles of what i go with, kikki will look more like her grandma than anything else. still am yet to design anyone, including their missing parents, but...

finch probably looks more like his dad, who may or may not be made of candy

ANYWAY

although most of masarath's family is adopted, she does sort of bear some resemblance to my current "main" zismith design! similar skin tone and face shape, although he's a bit taller and lankier than she is, if you didn't know they were adoptive siblings you might reckon they were directly related!

i havent designed masa's biological parents yet, but when i think of them she draws more from her father than her mother, although her father's skin is a tad darker, he's just as short as she is (oof.)

frey: she had her first kiss with masa when they were kids, but she doesn't remember and therefore it doesn't really count to her. she'd claim her first proper kiss was with masa, but the first time she romantically kissed anyone at all was when she smooched a pretty tall woman at a party

berro: he smooched wist after xe saved them! he's more inclined to give platonic kisses than romantic ones, but like...if MY partner came in full prince getup to save me from my abusive asshole parents i would also kiss them. a lot

tyr: he's super embarrassed by it, but the first person he kissed was aro. he wasnt doing well

remy: is yet to actually kiss anyone, surprisingly enough! but his first kiss will be with fish boy. love wins

HMMMMMM.

i won't say remy's outside of dms (gets choked) but

gem would say that hers are normal things like massive amounts of chocolate...when in reality it's dressing up in the creepiest clothes she can find, putting on sfx makeup to make it look like she's a zombie, and haunting the town with her pokemon. everyone thinks she's a ghost or a witch and she LOVES it - she's even managed to get a real flying broom!

1. What’s the one thing they would save in a fire?

hm... w/ masa it'd be berro no question. if his safety was confirmed she'd prolly take one of the glass shards she saved from That Specific Event i don't think i can mention without having to tag this post ten different things i dont want to tag it as

remy would probably take the ipod that maguro gave them + their phone.. i dont remember them having much else but iam suddenly giving them a motorcycle magazine theyve had since they were about 12 because i just remembered they like motorcycles

david would take his battery acid juicer & the remote control he has for himself, willemjan aster would take his evil science notes and most of the rest of my ocs don't really have anything theyd actively try to save other than their lives

masa regrets killing lein later rather than sooner, frey regrets not trying to stop lein

pirou regrets not taking care of berro herself, berro regrets being so rude to everyone and not noticing masa was spoiling him

zis regrets being friends with kweneren and not noticing how much she was hurting everyone else

david regrets not telling blue the truth, blue regrets being so mean to his sysmates

nerium regrets hiding so much, and running away, and hurting everyone, and nearly killing someone

12. What’s their ideal vacation like?

that's kinda tricky since none of my ocs consider that a possibility

masa wants to go back to the country, maybe to her hometown, just visit all the places she used to and maybe see the stars again

frey wants to go to somewhere with an actual Beach because he's insane

zismith wants to go wherever qeum'e wants to and qeum'e just wants to stay home

berro doesn't have a passport so he can't go anywhere but he does like running around in deep forests so

the concept of 'vacations' probably doesn't exist in sky cotl so nerium and aleta . don't

remy honestly thinks that primp is a sort of vacation

and the world of labfixed/underdark doesn't have a word for 'vacation' considering taking a break from your work for extended periods of time is so rare so w/o, willemjan, blue and mundave definitely don't think about it

ok ok zismith... he's so guy

something kinda funny is he is kind of, my second least developed OC but also at the same time the OC i've made the most memes abt and vaguely mentioned the most and put the most thought into so uh yea

again i am sticking with humaliens because that's a lil easier to explain. sorta

backstory!:

his mum was a native american lass (currently undecided due to lack of knowledge but i'm thinking, menominee.) and his father was, a spider alien. during his birth his mother ended up dying, and his father died soon after. as he had a lot of pictures of the two, he still felt pretty connected, but after realizing all he could've had he felt.. really bad for a while

he's not very connected to his heritage, like masa, but (also like masa) he's trying to learn more about it.

also, during college, he ended up becoming roommates with a 16-year-old and VERY VERY VERY edgy masarath. after getting incredibly attached to her, he basically adopted her as his sister, and the two ended up living together even after they both finished college. he helped a lot with raising berro for the first 10 years (until masa finally moved away [to get berro better schooling]) and then he decided to move in with his EPIC GAMER PARTNER QEUM'E

my biggest regret in this post AND the last one is not mentioning qeum'e. the only reason i didn't is because qeum isn't that important to the general,, lore? or story? a complete contrast to the HK au i had because in there qeum'e was like. one of the main characters in two and a half different roleplays djgmvbcvb

anyway! zismith moves in with his epic gamer partner-later-spouse. he ends up becoming a Streamer (derogatory) much to his poor spouse's distaste, and lives a pretty goddamn happy life with qeum'e-

ANOTHER character i regret not mentioning before becomes

kweneren, childhood friend of zismith and all-around weird kid ended up inheriting her father's massive company after he decides to retire.

she ends up making the company fifty times worse than it already was, lowering the quality of life for every employee drastically (but, brand loyalty, yaknow?) and generally being a dick before zismith (who stayed her friend up until this point) leaves her and she realizes. Maybe she's not in the right here? maybe capitalism isn't good.

it takes a Lot more than this to really convince her but

i'm going with humaliens because it's the most put-together which is. saying something but also nothing /lh

SO

in humaliens there are four planets. i forgot exactly what they were about but the only one that all the other people on the other planets can directly interact with is this universe's earth because of weird sciency bullcrap

keeping this in mind, a lot of guys went to earth a very long time ago and basically just. lived there! had kids and jobs and stuff and slowly (and willingly) assimilated themselves to life on earth, which is awesome and good for them BUT resulted in many hybrid children being created (mostly hybrid bugs)

now enter our main character, masarath "alyx" kidd, resident she/they transmasc lesbian who is also an ant. she's been an orphan since she was,,, about five years old? in the original hollow knight AU thing, this was because she was taken from her (ant) colony, brought to hallownest, then had to be given to the coliseum of fools for Reasons so that she wouldn't end up dying. not sure exactly what happens in the new thing though

Regardless, she's now about 21 years old, living with her roommate and chosen older brother Zismith Iforgothislastnamehelp, a pretty chill native spider dude

now! masa doesn't know she's part ant alien, nor does she really care much for the other worlds, BUT after finding a very small baby next to a dumpster while on her way to work, she was kinda.. forced into the whole thing, just a little bit.

after being unable to find a good foster home for the baby, she decides to legally adopt him, naming him Berro Kidd. soon after this, she finds out he's the exact opposite of a normal child, especially seeing as for some strange reason he refuses to eat, instead seemingly getting his nutrients from the sun

well! turns out the reason why this is is because he is a member of the weird elf/plant/cat hybrids! and also, funnily enough, the crown prince of the entire species! yep! turns out a grasshopper alien from a smaller planet at war with the elves decided to try stealing the only royal child they had in years to try to fuck shit up for 'em. the grasshopper (named pirou) ended up growing too attached to the child and then decided to leave him on earth, praying he'd get to a half decent home

and he definitely did! masa raised him the best he could (and, if it weren't for zismith, she would've hurt herself in doing so) and continued to take care of him until he was well into adulthood (although once he was like 16 he got a job because he refused to let masa provide everything for him. he's a good kid)

although. i admittedly don't have TOO much planned for the future (as in after he's like 14), i know that around the time he was 12-14 he ended up adopting like 17 opossums, learning ballet, and watching his uncle dismantle his ex-aunt's terrifying capitalistic nightmare company from the inside.

he also became friends with a recycled dimensionhopper oc, lein, who masa ended up, uh, Disposing Of because lein was too creepy (and also she ended up dating lein's cousin)

there is SO much more to this but it's either from the hollow knight side, hidden deep in deleted roleplays, or somewhere i don't want to look so. unless you ask Even more questions this is all you get for now /lh
