Halloween Time

I’m still trying to space out my plushie posts on here, but since tumblr is text friendly, I may just type some stuff about my crafting every now and then as well! I do not know how to like… grow an audience here… but maybe a couple people will see it.

I don’t really have anything too exciting today, as I’m still dealing with intense pain and fatigue making it hard to do much, but…. I have finally listed the Splatoon Octopus beanies on both Etsy and Ko-Fi! I had been working on them since last year, but was just so busy with commissions, life, health problems, and shop orders that I only just now got around to getting some assembled. But it is exciting, because now I have both inkings and octolings represented in the beanies!!!

I made the Octopus ones a little bit bigger just because I could, so they are like 8 inches long whereas the Squids are about 6.5 inches long. I may enlarge the Squids in the future as well, but I don’t have the time to remake all 15 colors in a new size at the moment. But if someone specifically asked me for an 8 inch squid to match the new octopus’, I could do it no problem. In the future I will likely add Big Octopus as well to match the Big Squids, but that can’t be a priority until I can afford more fabric.

I still have ONE plush I was working on since October of last year for the shop, and it’s the Mettaur from Megaman Battle Network! I will be getting the example one made up soon so I can get those in the shop before the Legacy Collection is out. After that, I think I will be caught up and can move onto new ideas, health permitting.

Zombie Lake veröffentlichen The Dawn Of Horror

Zombie Lake entstand 2003, als sich Gitarrist Derek Schilling (ex- Neglect) aus New York und Martin Missy (Protector) aus Stockholm kennenlenten. Zusammen entstand die Idee einer Band, welche dem rauen, unpolierten Thrash Metal gewidmet ist.

Passend dazu die apokalyptischen Zombietexte von Martin. Bereits 2005 entstand ein erstes 3 Track Demo „Metal for the masses“. Mit dem vollständigen Line-Up (Anthony und Ryan kamen hinzu) nahm man nach einigen Verzögerungen (u.a. Hurrican Sandy) das Debüt „Plague Of The Undead“ auf, welches 2013 als CD und Vinyl erschien. Nach nunmehr dreieinhalb weiteren Jahren steht der Nachfolger in den Startlöchern, nun zusätzlich mit Bill Kelly (guit) – wieder ein raues morbides Werk, und wieder hört man die Zombies schlurfen….

Hello!  To anyone who sees this post, I have created a fresh new blog to keep it nice and tidy from now on, and as a fresh start.  I will now be posting old and recent art!  And after I have done that, I will use this blog to update with new art or works in progress, as well as updates on my cosplays!  Might even put previews of the comic series I am working on here as well, since there’s less of a crowd.  (like, there is literally no one here yet!)

I’m taking notes while reading lots of books about writing comic scripts, and telling stories through visual media...  I’ve always loved making comics but now I’m taking it more seriously so when i finally start crafting pages for my new series, it will be really nice!  

I was working on my Bakugou cosplay but sewing makes me frustrated so I can only do a little at a time (at least until I have a sewing machine).  I might start posting some WIP on here for everything I’m working on and tag it all to keep it organized, cause it’s cool to show how I make stuff!  And who knows, seeing the behind the scenes might help someone else out along the way.  I know I’ve learned a lot myself from other people’s WIP posts.
