Satan is not an overtly emotional person and rarely shows signs of affection in public, much less says the words “I love you”. 

One sign that he loves someone deeply is by tattooing their name on his body. He has the names of his siblings, along with his nephews and new niece tattooed down his left side. “Mateira” in demonic is tattooed at the top in commemoration of Hell. His god seal, though technically not a tattoo, is marked over his heart to show his dedication and commitment to his kingdom. While his king seal is no less important, it is placed at the nape of his neck, to signify that he trusts his people not to stab him in the back. “We leave that to our enemies.”

[ PAW PRINTS ] San. Tell me about the puppies! How are they doing?

“The hellhounds are doing well. We have two litters due in the next month or so again. I am looking forward to seeing the pups from these litters.”

Satan has a large kennel and usually breeds twice a year but rotates the hounds. Hellhounds generally live any where from hundred to two hundred years, while San’s almost always live until two hundred. His oldest hound on record was 224 and was still strong until the day she passed in her sleep. 

While hellhounds in general are fairly hardy and tenacious beasts, Satan’s are bred specifically for their musculature and endurance. Tested against other hellhounds, Satan’s will always come out on top in physicality and intelligence. 

Surprisingly, a litter usually only consists of two to five pups, never more than seven. Rarely are there singleton births. The small amount of births allows Satan to be very selective about when and who he sells his hounds too when they are ready to leave the kennel. Some times he will give them as gifts to loved ones or friends if they are deemed ready and able to care for a pup. It is a massive sign of trust and acceptance if gifted with one of Satan’s hellhounds.

San’s true form is a mixture of the traditional devil: horns, spikes, flames, etc. Add the Satan style and suddenly he’s a glowing fire ball of death type creature. 

His body is pure black, true darkness pigmented on his armored rough skin. The texture of his skin is like leather but it is so hot to the touch that it burns skin clear off. He literally glows from within, no eyes or internal features visible except for flames. He has narrow eyes, open nostrils and hollowed skins with exposed teeth because excess flesh is simply seared off from the heat. Claws and fangs are all black as in his regular form. 

He stands at 60 feet in height, a strong wiry frame somewhat resembling the muscular structure that would be underneath a layer of skin. Comparatively small to some of his sibling’s full forms, Satan takes advantage with high speed, masterful elemental control and magical capabilities. His tail is both defensive and offensive, often having a mind of its own as it whips and lashes out all around his form. 

Two sets of arms allow for greater force and mobility, while the additional spikes on his back as reminiscent of wings though he cannot fly in this form. Greater agility makes up for lack of flight. 

In this form, he can effect the realm around him, the weather often responding creating fire storms and land anomalies. He can use multiple levels of fire; highest being a form of hell fire that is black, more connected to death and souls. 

One major note about his personality in this form, he becomes increasingly more callous and detached the longer he is transformed. While his connection to the physical realm increases, his divinity growing the more he feeds off Hell’s energy, the less he cares for the people and the ones he loves. If allowed to stayed shifted for longer than say an hour or two, San would most likely lose a high percentage of his sense of family/friendship and be more likely to harm his loved ones.

One of the first truly meaningful gifts that Satan gave Azrael to show his love for him was two hellhound pups. Azrael had received jewelry and other trinkets to show San’s favor toward him. But the hounds were the first sign that Satan was falling for the witch. The trust behind giving Azzy not just one but two of his puppies was monumental. 

The pups are seven months old now and starting more advanced training outside of continuing basic obedience. While they will not be full grown until two and a half or three year old as is usual with hellhounds, they begin training as early as possible to prevent unwanted accidents or early onset of behavioral problems. They are bred and reared for protection and hunting, but these girls will namely be to protect Azrael and assist him in any capacity, particularly magical that he may need. 

Midnight is a solid black female with white socks on all four paws and a white blaze on her chest that appeared when her adult coat grew in. Her yellow eyes are eerie and intimidating in an all black face, but right now her nose is just a tad too long for her head, making her floppy ears a bit goofy. Already around eighty pounds, she is only about half the weight she will be in adulthood. Her parents are of a heavier stock and hold muscle quite nicely. 

Dusk is a tall for her age with long limbs and barely any muscle mass, a bit stuck in the beginnings of a teenager stage. She is a medium gray with black guard hairs, a white stripe down her nose, making her yellow eyes look larger. Only weighs around sixty five-seventy pounds, while being lanky and unproportionate. While Dusk doesn’t have the size of her sister or family just yet, she is making up for it in intelligence and trainability. Already, she excels at obedience and coursework, being almost a month ahead of her siblings in training.

Satan knows that they are more spoiled than some of his other hounds, the way they are always at Azrael’s side , being loved on and probably fed more often than they should. But San would have it no other way, as long as they are ready and alert when need be.

If in a serious, committed relationship, Satan is very possessive. Some times scary possessive. And if he even thinks his partner is cheating on him or looking at others, he will lock them up in the castle no hesitation.

Small headcanon for Satan.

He so rarely laughs and smiles outside of a short chuckle or smirking. Hearing him outright laugh is such a rarity that even his siblings can get surprised when he does it. If the person he is in a relationship with can make him genuinely smile and laugh, then they are worth keeping and San will fight to keep them.

🔞 Satan has multiple piercings in two parallel lines up and down his penis and sac, mostly barbells and studs. Some are traditional demon piercings and some are more status symbols, showing the pain tolerance of a demon. Satan got them for those reasons but also because they make sex more pleasurable for him and multiple partners at a time.

San actually has different plans for how he wants to propose to Azrael. They all depend on various factors that Satan is trying to plan ahead for. What type of mood Azzy is in, whether they are alone or not, where they are, what time of day it is, etc etc. 

The demon king wants the moment to be absolutely perfect. His future mate deserves only the best and Satan has gone out of his way to make certain that his staff is all ready for any possibility. If his siblings heard about all his potential preparations, they probably wouldn’t be surprised. 

The most likely scenario will probably be when Azrael comes to meet Satan in the throne room after a court meeting as is their schedule. San’s common thought when he sees Azzy walking toward him across the throne room is always how gorgeous and powerful his witch is. Wait until Azzy gets to the throne, then stand and drop to one knee, the ring in his hand. No big speech, no grand gesture, just a simple “will you marry me?”.

Side note: San would have spent at least a week or two researching human “mating rituals” before he settled on the right custom of getting a ring and proposing.

each prince of hell has a species native to their region of hell that they safeguard and take care of.

KOR- his species are cerberus and orthrus. there is one cerberus that guards the entrances to hell. he was kor’s first companion when he was created and kor promised to always take care of him. cerberus is a three headed demon dog about 30 feet tall and 45-50 feet long. black coarse hair with silver tipped guard hairs along his hackles. he has silver claws with double rows of teeth in each giant maw. the ears on each head are cropped with silver tips and the tail is cropped short to prevent injury to the appendage in cause of a wild hunt. icy blue eyes that turn bloody red when he is about to attack.

orthrus is a two headed dog species closely related to cerberus, but instead of just one, there are several bloodlines that can be traced back to an original breeding group that kor cultivated to help guard hell and keep cerberus company. orthrus can come in any canid coloring combination, the most common being a faun/apricot red or a black and tan point combination. the most rare coloring is a sable or silver point with any coloring. some have been breeding parti into the bloodlines, a mostly white with black, brown or apricot patches and/or flecking seen. they should always have blue or black eyes.

SATAN- the hellhound is the traditional animal of the devil, carefully bred by satan himself. a royal creature, they have been carefully bred and nurtured to be the absolute best at what they do. these hounds are bred for long distance searching and running, often left in packs of three in independent hunts, intelligent with a fierce spirit. they are a pack animal with a clear respect for leadership and devotion to their leader. they are protective and close ranks accordingly, keen eyes picking out weakness at a moments notice but with the self control to wait for commands. tall at 36 to 42 inches in height standard, they are a lean but muscled hound with a battle crop or flop ear, up to the third rib should be visible for a working adult age male. tails can be docked or left natural, though no imperfections such as crimps, scars etc should be noticeable if showing. fangs should be avoided as they excrete venom. their bite is far worse than their bark, though the bay of a hellhound can send even the staunchest warrior into cold sweats. the coat coloring ranges from a deep black to a orange brindle stripe. the only noticeable solid colors are black and brown, all other colors have a variation of brindle and flecking. their coat is smooth and short haired with varying degrees of coarseness, though skin and coat should always be shiny, smooth and sleek to denote their health. graying at muzzle can show their age, though somewhat rare if cared for properly. most, if not all, are bred out of the royal kennels in the capitol of hell.

MAMY- bone horses, also known as (ayka regil in demonic) are a protected species in hell because of their close association with death and the power/magic that can be produced by their bones. their appearance lives up to their name. they are entirely skeletal, no muscle, fat, skin, etc covering their bodies at all. they are held together by the spiritual energy of their soul and the environment around them. they need a protected around to live with plenty of ayka plants, a special variety of dry leaved fern that they eat several times a day. they can ingest other types of foods but glean little nutritional value from them. the energy holding their bones together is usually different shades of blue or purple, depending on their soul and the strength it has. very rarely does a pure white or black show up, though grey is not unheard off. it simply means it is a soul very staunchly placed on either side of good or evil. often times they are put down collectively by the herd if they pose a threat. mamy is very close with the herds and protects them closely because they were the first beings that came across her and protected her until her brother abbadon found her. they also helped her accept her true form and are almost like familiars to that form. they vary in size, the largest on record being 20 hands high, the average being around 15-16 hands tall. the length of their body is around 8 feet with a bone tail some times stubbed, an extension of the spinal column. they are truly gentle creatures, with a softness about them that attracts many predators (two legged and otherwise). they are herd animals with a need for family and large open spaces.

ASMODEUS- hellcats are large cats of the panthera family. standing about 3 feet high, with a body length at least 5.5 feet, most times 6 ft. they have stocky legs that support a compact, heavily muscled body, making their weight a bit more dense and less spread out than taller species. able to swim and climb sturdy trees, they have a powerful jaw with a poisonous bite, often leading to instant infection and septic shock within minutes of a bite, if it wasn’t immediately deadly. their larger boned head allows for a powerful bite force and a wider range of fang placement with a bite. their claws are retractable and hold a deadly toxin in the tips that can melt skin away from bone in a matter of seconds. their pelt is a covered in soft, water resistant black hairs, which in certain lights reveal rainbow rosettes, a large circling of miniature spots with a few central dots in the middle. these creatures are extremely rare and at last count there were only a hundred and fifty left in their home region in hell. asmodeus is extremely protective of these cats, allowing no one outside of his family and court to any where near them. his entire region is essentially devoted to their conservation, only a small city on the outskirts of the kingdom able to house residents. everything else is considered a nature preserve for this species. they are the only creators that asmodeus truly cares about, though no one is quite certain of the reason.

Easily for Korus, Satan and Mammon if their partner is not enjoying themselves or the activity that they are engaged in. Any sign of trauma or outright stress and Korus will stop and hesitate. Satan is more willing to push his partners to and past the threshold but he will always give them a safe word and watch for signs of too much strain or distress. Mamy is not necessarily into the hardcore sexual acts so she does not worry about pain or anything so much as the emotional state of her partner. 

Korus- Bodily function/fluid stuff (yknow what), most types of voyeurism (possessive nature/past as Beelzebub), fisting (bad experience as Beelzebub). 

Satan- Inactive partner (just lays there, no sounds or otherwise obvious engagement/enjoyment, reminds him too much of rape). Have to be able to keep up with him (most beings cannot keep pace with him sexually or otherwise, so he needs a strong, energetic and eager sexual partner or it turns him off/bores him very quickly). Unhygienic (San is actually very fastidious and likes everything a certain way and cleanliness is one of those things), obviously includes bodily functions/fluids. 

Mamy- Restraints and severe physical abuse of any kinds (minus spanking, rough thrusting, etc). Most BDSM type play (hates paddles/racks/whips/etc). Will be into ball gags or blindfolds if partner is interested and she trusts them, otherwise deal breaker. 

Asmodeus is an entirely different when it comes to sexuality. Does feel sexual urges and attraction for pretty much any one/thing but will only act on them if the urge is strong and he is intrigued by the partner.
