I actually owned a Mahoutsukai no Hako drama CD, a friend in Japan knew I liked Type-Moon but also correctly assessed me as an unbearable hipster and got the most obscure merch they could think of. Unfortunately I forgot it when my family moved out of the house I grew up in.

i keep thinking about logos trans moment like theres really no argument to be had about it. you can't argue it's just that male banshees are rare and he's not transgender he literally says all banshees are supposed to be female. and it's not like this is a banshee cultural matriarchy thing or something where they just pretend to the outside that they're all women for whatever reason because he's literally lord of the banshees as a man, and his family loves him too that new robot operator from the CN stream is a singing robot banshee they sent him so he wont be lonely at rhodes. and it's not the reverse that only men can be lord of banshees or some shit either because his mom was the previous lord and again there aren't supposed to be any male banshees anyway. and it's a throwaway line, they could've just made him say any variation of "no, male banshees are just rare" or just not bring it up at all, but instead they literally pause the conversation to have logos look at the camera and go "by the way, it's true my biological traits at birth would lead me to be categorised as female" and then you go back to dealing with the horrors and he continues being a man.

Alright, I'll give this to FGO. Soujuurou becoming a servant being explained away as Soujuurou being given yet another part time job but this time by the Throne of Heroes is both extremely funny and completely in character.

He's not the least bit confused about becoming a superhuman ghost he just does what he's told as always

Don't let the media make what's happening with Israel, Iran and Jordan into some "middle-east problem" again. This was entirely orchestrated and encouraged by the US and the UK. Israel initiated every attack against Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and Iran. Israel KILLED, targeted, the children and grandchildren of Palestinians political leaders. And the US could've stopped all of this by simply not giving Israel money and weapons bu they didn't.

The Western media has constructed this narrative that countries like Iraq and Iran are the problem and the western nations are the antidote keeping their 'terrorism' at bay. No, they have always and at all times started the conflicts, or worsened them.

Because they want the land, they want hegemony over the resources of that region and that is it. And they've demonstrated already by killing over 33,000 people that they'll do anything.

And if I really did not want to kill I could easily live out the rest of my days as a logistics operator never seeing the blood of another person, right? But I became a combat operator by my own choice. I cannot avert my eyes from the beauty of slaughter that the Crimson Troupe raised me to see. I am hopelessly drawn to the battlefield for the way it resembles the stage that I once so desperately sought to escape and cannot deny the rush I feel when I splatter some poor schmuck’s brains out with my shield. Honestly, it's kinda depressing how Celtic and Arthurian mythology, as well as the prominent figures in both just both seem to continue getting the short stick with Fate.

I'll probably continue bitching about this until the end of time elsewhere, but I feel as though Artoria Pendragon (Lancer Alter) is a prime example of that. Genuinely interesting concept as both a further offshoot of an already miraculous possibility (Artoria choosing to wield Rhongomyniad instead of Excalibur, thus creating Lancertoria), and being an embodiment of the idea of King Arthur leading the Wild Hunt upon their passing which anchors Lalter to the Throne of Heroes... and the writers keep fumbling her ball SO HARD.

they're not the only ones going unexamined and bastardised its unfortunately a very common problem in FGO but it does feel a little extra glaring for the irish and arthurian ones in particular because like it's fucking saber and lancer they're your OGs and you're making everyone who has to stand next to them look so bad for whatever reason

his massive chunky pauldrons are a core charm point they're such a satisfying shape to draw too
