OMAKE QUARTERS Vol 4. ORB at Night Side F Excerpt.

So before we actually go through this OMAKE, I just want to make some things clear: this is only an excerpt from the whole OMAKE and this excerpt, for me is one of the most important point in the whole script.

Whatever you guys will read here will possibly or hopefully give some or a little bit of assurance to what and where Athrun and Cagalli's relationship is now. :3

This part actually takes place after Lunamaria and Meyrin arrives in Lacus' place. Anyway, Lacus talks about how Lunamaria is adjusting in Orb and asks something about her work or something..(too much technical words here and there so I had a little problem understanding it ) but it has to something to do with the Military Security etc. Kira interrupts Lacus and says not to talk about it right now since they aren't doing an interview. Meyrin(talks while eating): In any case. Onee-chan's going to depend on Shinn. Luna(starts to stutter): Wha- Lacus: Shinn Asuka right? Luna: Ah, no..well..Wait..stop talking about things like that here! Kira: Ah, you guys are a couple right? Luna eh? Kira: Shinn always talks about it. Things like "My girlfriend is.." etc. Lacus: Maaa!~ Luna: Eehh Meyrin: That's right Onee-chan. You're going out with the person who shot down the GOUF your little sister and Athrun-san was riding right? (LOL MEYRIN)

Luna: But..Wai..that was.. Meyrin: And then, you went along with Shinn and came back to ORB together. Lacus: Maa~, that's love. Luna: N-no, no, no, no, no, that's... Meyrin(starts to eat again): Don't tell us we're wrong. Luna: Well then, what about you to Lieutenant Colonel Zala? You already decided to go there (to ORB) right? You like him right? Meyrin: No, well that's a bit... Kira(to Meyrin): EH! IS THAT RIGHT?! Luna(to Meyrin): You're the one to speak!! Meyrin: I like him. I mean...He's not a person you can hate. He's very helpful and diligent but.. Lacus: But? Meyrin:but its a little troublesome Lacus/Kira: Aa~ Meyrin: There are still matters with Cagalli-san right?. Well, my reason for going there(ORB) is because of a promotion. I'm not like Onee-chan!"

There you have it. I kept my mind open the whole time here. But before that we can probably assume a few things here.

Luna and Meyrin are/will be staying in ORB. For what reasons? Most likely work in ORB (so it seems)

Shinn just seems to stay at ORB. (just refer to the excerpt later)

Meyrin and Luna received promotions.

Athrun is indeed in ORB, and he retains his position as the Lieutenant Colonel/Commander (中佐)

Meyrin really likes Athrun. (but that's fairly obvious already)

This is a continuation of the ORB at Night Side M.

I have no Idea why Lacus and Kira are at Orb but they are staying in a VIP Floor atm lol

Now, throwing in some of my thoughts here. Before we can all go and throw a rage fit on Meyrin or the AsuMey pairing again.Hold up your pitchforks and torches first.

I honestly think Meyrin is giving up halfway already. She already did say it was troublesome (めんどくさい). Its a common word we all hear whenever people are frustrated, or when people don't want to do something.   This is either intended to Athrun directly (like he is troublesome) or to her liking Athrun...They are two different things. Kira and Lacus sounded sympathetic to her when they said "Aa~". Lol. Probably because they know Athrun is probably undecided or stil.... well waiting for their paths to cross again or something along those lines XD Afterall, he stayed in ORB and retained his positioned. And maybe it's also because they actually feel like Meyrin's having a hard time . As for the ASUCAGA part, well now that we know Meyrin seems to sound a little disheartened ro so. , it's actually safe to say that Athrun isn't really staying with Meyrin. YEEY!! I do like how she acknowledge that there are still matters with Cagalli (and most probably with AsuCaga) so she's only there in ORB for work. YEY ASUCAGA!! OKAY. I am not saying ASUCAGA are REALLLLLLLLY together like Lacus and Kira here (although I really really want them to)...at least this can add a little more assurance in our little hopeful hearts that Athrun is still with Cagalli....in a way. ;)

Towards the end of the OMAKE, Athrun gets dragged by Shinn to the place where Lacus and Kira were staying. Since it requires an ID to access the VIP Floor Shinn asks Athrun even after they got into a fight (which happened in OMAKE Vol 3) LOL. Shinn wanted to visit the girls + Kira because he was worried about Luna meeting the real Lacus since she liked well.. Meer a.k.a the fake Lacus. and Here's a little convo between them because it was just too precious.

Kira: Hai~ I was waiting for you! Athrun/Shinn: huh? Athrun:Kira,what is with that appearance? KIra: I'm a cat. (hands the kigurumi) These are for the two of you. Athrun: what the hell are these? Shinn: Ah, Tiger? Kira: And penguin for Athrun. If you guys want to come you have to change into those.....and have some courage....probably. Athrun/Shinn: Nn? Behind the door, the two could hear Luna complaining that Shinn never saying I like your or I love you and Meyrin complaining that Athrun never says I'm sorry or Sorry. Kira then teases the two with どうする？ or What are you going to do? which makes the two have second thoughts of entering LOL.

To be honest, I liked this OMAKE. I actually thought I'd hate it since Cagalli wasn't here however it was quite cute with all the KiraLacus part and embarassed Luna. I'm just going to assume Cagalli was too busy to join them atm. p(TT___TT)q

I'll try to translate a few more parts again soon but for now I'lll end everything here. It's up to you guys whether you're gonna stick up with my viewpoint for this OMAKE ;) No need to bash anyone or any otp any longer. This is just what my thoughts are now after so many years. ;)

Edit:

I forgot to point out Kira's reaction when he heard Meyrin has feelings for Athrun. This is your typical delayed reaction from Kira and his reaction sounded like "You like the guy my sister likes?!"type of reaction. lol I hope you get what I mean. Anyway.

Part of me considers these OMAKES an official aftermath of the story. All though there were fun parts Like Yzak arguing with Kira, Athrun slightly drunk arguing wth Shinn, some Kira Lacus moments there wer also some down parts where most of the Minerva crew assumed Athrun was dating Meyrin but...Athrun somehow always feels uncomfortable with the topic lol.

Excerpts from Yzak's Melancholy

Here are some excerpt from the OMAKE Quarters Vol 1. Yzak's Melancholy

While Yzak was too busy thinking about whether the perfect Joule bride still exists he unsuspectingly bumps into our favorite Freedom Pilot.

Kira: aa.. Yzak: Oops, Sorry. KIra: No, I should be the one apologizing...huh? Yzak: huh? Kira...Yamato? Kira: Yzak.....san? Yzak: That's Major Yzak Joule to you! Well, it doesn't matter if you can remember it or not. Kira: Sorry. I've been meeting a lot of people the past few days, I'm kinda getting messed up.

Yzak: Hmmph, Nevermind I'm not good in remembering names as well...but what are you doing in a place like this? Are you alone? What about Chairwoman Lacus? Wasn't the conference over? Kira: Ah, Actually, I'm lost. Yzak: eh? Kira: After the meeting, Lacus was called to another one and I thought someone would escort me back but no matter how long I waited nobody came. So, I thought I should look for someone outside but nobody seemed to pass by. Yzak: Because this a conference floor. So...you wanted to return back to the room but you don't know where to go right? Kira: That's correct. Yzak: (sighs in defeat) what the hell are you doing?

Kira: This the Military headquarters and someone like me shouldn't be just loitering around the building right? Yzak: Isn't that obvious?! you, Freedom Pilot!

Yzak: Do you have a mobile or at any other means for communication? Kira I don't have one. Yzak: Do you know even know who was suppose to escort you? Kira: I don't know. Yzak: Then where do think were you supposed to be escorted? Kira: the house ...i think? YZak: (gasps in horror)  And where is that house? Kira: Uh It's actually Lacus' house... but where was it? Yzak Huh? HUH? HUUUUUUH?!!! What are you? A child?!! Kira: But it can't be help. I've only been in PLANTS for 3 days and during those times, I was always with Lacus whenever we're escorted. We would leave the house early and when we return back, it's already dark. Yzak: It can't be helped. Come with me! Kira: eh?! Yzak: I can't allow you to keep loitering around here. I'm about to go out as well so I'll escort you to Lacus place. After that you're on your own.

Personally, I loved this OMAKE so much. It really made me laugh so hard and another reason why I loved this volume was because it had Kira and Yzak conversing just like how I'd imagine they would be. Throughout the omake I could really imagine Yzak's expression so it was quite fun listening to it. Mainly the 1/4 of the Omake was more on Kira and Yzak while the rest includes Ezalia and Yzak. 

I'll make a proper summary as soon thought ;)

P.S I am happy for Kira staying at Lacus' /sideeyes OTP so what about you guys?!/

One the lighter news the Thrid OMAKE (オー���の夜に サイドM/ Orb at Night Side M) is about Mwu inviting Athrun and Shinn for a drink in ORB (I suppose) I'm looking forward to this though. :D

GUNDAM SEED DESTINY: OMAKE QUARTERS Vol. 2

Here's a summary of what the OMAKE QUARTERS Vol. 2 is. I can't really translate everything (word for word) but here's what I've understand in the 17 min run.

Main Characters: Arthur Trine, William Gladys and a short appearance from Athrun Zala.

Starts off with William entering a room where Arthur was waiting. They soon talk about Talia's death and Talia's belongings gathered in the box. Supposedly, all the belongings of a deceased person will be returned to the family members. Arthur was surprised about how informed William was about Talia joining Durrandal in the Messiah after she declared to the staffs to abandon ship saying "My mother left everything, probably her position as Captain, the carrier and me". and William declared that he would be disposing the rest of Talia's belongings after finding a keepsake. He says he didn't need them but Arthur insists that he should not dispose of Tala's belongings keep them as a momento. William disagrees and leaves saying he knew his what kind of job his mothers has and one day she would leave him. (Probably “leaving” meant she would die)

Frustrated, Arthur eats in a cafe/restaurant and spots Athrun Zala walking by (Haumea knows why is he at PLANTS and not in ORB atm),Athrun sounded reluctant in running into Arthur and gets forcibly dragged down to eat with him. Arthur talks to him and asks if he is with ORB now then laughs saying of course you're here(in PLANTS) right now (and not in ORB). But Athrun confirms he is with ORB (Yey!...Though he sounded like he didn't want to answer Arthur and it was a half assed response). Then Arthur assumes Athrun is with Meyrin (like together-together :<). Athrun starts to stutter and sounded like he didn't know how to answer our babbling Vice- Captain as he continued to shoot him questions about Meyrin, his relationships and why was he at PLANTS or is he with Meyrin. (not amused any longeeeer)

Arthur: But weren't you engaged to Lacus Clyne, then I thought you and the Orb Representative were together when you first boarded the Minerva, this time it's Meyrin?!

Athrun finds himself in a pinch and uncomfortable with Arthur as he continues to assume different things. Luckily Arthur changes the topic and talks about his problem with William Gladys: How William could just dispose of his mothers belonging.

Athrun: He might be too sad to accept it (Talia's belongings). Since his mother is no longer alive and those things are the only things left behind. Probably, it would just really make him sad.

Even after Athrun’s advice and how much he tried to explain to Arthur why William was acting like that Arthur acts stubborn and refuses to listen to him. Athrun get a little annoyed and whispers to himself.

Athrun: Darn it, why are you like Kira?!

Arthur: What?

Somehow Athrun talks some sense into Arthur when he asked what was the reason why he brought Talia’s belongings to William. They continued to talk leading Arthur to realize and assume...

Arthur: ...You're the type of person who can really understand a person's heart Athrun: Eh?! Arthur:.. So that's why all the girls are attracted to you!

(UNROLLS PLAYBOY ATHRUN’s GIRL LIST)

After Athrun and Arthur's little chat, Arthur finds William and shows him the the box where Talia's belonging were again. They started to talk again, asks him if Arthur can call him "Will" but William refuses and gets mad  and kicks the box angrily releasing all the pent up feelings of the child towards his mother.

William: I know. She left for him, died with him (Durrandal), leaving me behind.

Arthur:I can't really say she did that..because..honestly..I don't know either. But what I'm really sure about is that Captain always had your picture. She always looks at it. It's probably in that box.

William calms down and the two of them finally understands each other.

Arthur:You know, I really liked the Captain....Well, It's different from love but she's the person I really like.  The Captain probably didn't liked me at all but I like her.

William: Trine-san...

Arthur: Just call me Arthur.

Arthur asks if they can talk about different things including William's mother because Arthur knows her best (among the two of them). When William gets older, Arthur says he and William can go out and drink. After that, they walk together while starting to talk about different things.

William: Are soldier rations good?

Arthur: Well...yeah..I guess?

William: I see.

Then they talk about Williams favorite food and he gives Arthur the permission to call him Will. William says he likes pie (He mentioned what kind but I didn't catch the name). Arthur says there was a ration that was like the pie William liked and said Talia liked it too and would always eat it.

William: When I'm old enough, let's go out and drink.

Arthur: Sure.  we'll go then. I don't know if you'll like the taste of sake though.

William: Don't you like it, Arthur?

Arthur: I don't hate it but honestly I'm really not much of a drinker.

William: Does Sake taste good?

Arthur: Well...I guess?

William: I guess?

Arthur: Yeah, I guess it's good. It's going be fun.

William: Why?

Arthur: Well...you'll just have to find out when you’re old enough.

REALLY ARTHUR REALLY. YOU DON'T GO TEACHING AN ELEVEN YEARS OLD CHILD ABOUT SAKE AND DRINKING AND HOW GOOD IT TASTE .>O  Talia must be glaring  and itching to shoot the Tannhäuser at Arthur by now. LOL. Maybe William fell in the wrong guardian.. XD I really wished it was Kira or Murrue who took care of Will. I feel like he's a very very smart kid.

Anyway, I am really not happy with the Arthur assuming Meyrin is with Athrun. I am very disappointed. I feel like my OTP is being threatened again and I feel more tensed than usual for the ending. :<  But this is a topic not to be discussed in this post.

I will try and summarize OMAKE Vol. 1 : The Melancholy of Yzak some time soon I hope this summary was good enough for everyone. :>
