But I think what is kind of nice about Shauna and Lottie's relationship is that even though they both come from a different vein, I think they have this somewhat understanding of the wilderness's power. I think they like being stuck in the wilderness for different reasons, so they, weirdly enough, have each other's backs. There's like this weird understanding, and, like, approval that they have each other's backs and so it's been fun to be able to play these, like, glances and these little eye contacts from across the room. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again but it is absolutely an example of civilizational inadequacy that only deaf people know ASL
“oh we shouldn’t teach children this language, it will only come in handy if they [checks notes] ever have to talk in a situation where it’s noisy or they need to be quiet”

Curious about people's reading preferences, reblogs for sample size are very appreciated ❤️
#audiobooks my beloved#realized they worked for me bc im someone who Needs to multitask so i loove listening at work / in the shower / working out / driving / etc#but. i still like having the ebook along with it bc if it's a book i'm really enjoying i pause to highlight shit 💖#print books arent realistic for me bc when i want to read it is so random so i would simply never be prepared
