Nie Mingjue’s blind spot

That part where Nie Mingjue asks Jin Guangyao something on the lines of ‘are you different than them/ what makes you different’ and then claiming that he himself would never use his privilege for his own benefit is so funny…

Like babe, you are great and have your own trauma to deal with, but you know… you managed to openly attack and injure your sworn brother with zero consequences because you are the privileged legitimate sect-leader, and he is the whoreson grudgingly recognised.

Talk about privilege blindness of the elite… really!!!

The more people try to paint JGY as evil, the more I love him.

i think more people should read the extra "Villainous Besties" featuring jgy and xy, i think that would do a lot of good for this fandoms ecosystem absolutely no one is completely evil or good, thats unrealistic, even the shittiest people have done good in their lives, and even the goodest of hearts stumble and mess up, but if you were to come closest to evil, those two are probably it > human experimentation and shutting people in cages with fierce corpses including women and children while chilling and drinking tea for example like even if by the end of the story you find yourself conflicted if jgy was truly all that bad, we get that extra showcasing them in all their glory

absolutely jgy also does good in his life, but its very outweighed by his crimes if you were to put it on a scale, and honestly its completely fine to love him still, i do as well, but the level of woobifying the fandom does for him gets frustrating

If we’re doing things we love about jgy, i’m a big fan of event organiser jgy!! He looks so in his element in organising the wedding in cql!

That is a man with a colour-coded spreadsheet and a detailed schedule getting to watch it all come together <3

jyl and jz could not ask for a better wedding planner, 10/10 would want him organising any event for me

And he’s polite! And the servant in the last image has such a nice smile while they’re talking in this scene!

(ofc jgy seems to have better relationships with the servants than he does with any of his family)

so yes!! i love event-planning jgy! you just know he’d be a great partner on a group project and you’ve gotta appreciate that in a person :) And he just seems so comfortable in these two scenes, it’s nice to see him looking relaxed and happy for a bit.
