OMG! oMG!
Spoiler for Karate Kid Legends
So, two reasons why I wanted to see this movie:
One, I grew up on this! I didn’t see the original Karate Kid in the theaters, but I saw it a few years later, when I was a teen! And like any teenage girl at the time, I fell in love with Mr. Miyagi’s life philosophy and, of course, Daniel LaRusso.
Two, I’m a huge Joshua Jackson fan, so I HAD to be there for his return to the big screen, where, by the way, that man belongs!
So, this movie… has all the feels and magic of that first Karate Kid! You know, the one that made you practice (and fail) the crane kick and maybe even consider joining a dojo 😜
Only now, not only do you have the trade mark karate kid, learning to overcome his fears and set backs, you also have Victor 😍 the proverbial karate mature (old) man 😏
And boy, is he good!!!
I was not expecting Joshua’s character to be so pivotal for the plot, but him, his daughter and their pizza place are central to everything!
In the end, I was sad (HEY, I WARNED For SPOILERS!!!!!!)
.
.
.
that Victor lost his fight, but the other guy was a cheating little shit that ended up sending poor Victor to the hospital and that ended up being the reason for Li to fight.
Anyways! Great, entertaining movie! It feels short, I for one would have gladly watched one more hour of it! The fighting sequences are amazingly choreographed and, of course, Mr. Jackie Chan is a show in himself! The banter between his character and Ralph’s was good enough for the two of them to have a sitcom of their own!
If you grew up with the Karate Kid movies, go watch this one!
If you did not grew up with these movies but you like kickass movies, go watch this movie!
Heck, if you’re a fan of New York City, definitely go watch this movie!

karate kid legends was fun! definitely could have done with some extra screen time but nevertheless it was an enjoyable watch. the story follows a similar template to the previous movies but still manages to feel refreshing all thanks to the new main character, li fong. he brings a breath of fresh air to the franchise. i'm glad they kept the theme of “boy in a new environment feeling out of place because he doesn't understand the rules” but with a slight twist here and there. nice to see someone knowing their way around martial arts yet still struggling to find their footings. i hope we get to see li fong again :3

i love li fong btw. i dont know how he would interact with the ck cast and the karate drama (which, tbf, is long over by the time of KKL anyway), but i genuinely just think he wouldnt really get into all that? hes got enough going on with his personal bullshit and even within KKL he doesnt seem to really concern himself with connors bullshit unless its hurting someone he cares about
and, getting into mild spoiler territory here, but i think he would feel the same way miguel did post accident, considering li's trauma with his brother.
anyway. li fong. fuckin love that guy.

Seeing Ben Wang being praised not only by critics, but by the public and his castmates makes me so happy. After seeing how Rachel Zegler, Haile Bailey and Anthony Mackie were treated, I was so afraid that he would be attacked by racist Cobra Kai fans and even more afraid that the film would have a stereotypical approach or diminish him in favor of Daniel and Mr. Han, but fortunately he is the protagonist and the heart of the story. For me, Li is without a doubt one of the best characters in the franchise. He is everything a Karate Kid needs to be and Cobra Kai lacked, and a large part of that is Ben's merit. I really hope he has a great future.

You need to have the 28 other mods and all their dependencies for this mod to work, plus all the mods that they depend on. You also need to go into your x69 files and delete the .gloop file (NOT the .gleeb file!!!) and you need to run CuntExpander to generate a working skeleton for the animations and when that's done you have to reconfigure PNIS (which you should honestly be using NippleSense by now) and then deploy mods, uninstall then reinstall everything, then run PNIS again IN A SEPARATE FILE and deploy. Then it should work 👍

i understand why the ‘grizzled loner who slowly melts & improves their outlook on life when forced to take care of a kid’ trope is a male exclusive role, bc the optics of a grizzled loner woman healing by becoming a mother are maybe not so good, but every time i think abt a hypothetical female version of that trope i black out instantly. could we maybe just do it one time and all agree to be cool about it
