These are just the last three fics I wrote. I appreciate the likes, believe me I do, but you have to understand. Likes do nothing for content creators. It’s the reblogs. Because that’s how you find shit on your dashboard. Through reblogs. Not likes. This isn’t twitter or tiktok or instagram. This is a website that’s run by the reblog system.

Reblogging helps content creators put their stuff out there. Why do you think so many people stopped writing fanfic and creating beautiful fanart and edits? It’s because they put in hours of work and don’t get nearly enough notes for their masterpieces. Yes we do this because we enjoy it but like...some validation won’t hurt. A boost of confidence here and there might be all someone needs to finish whatever thing they started and left.

Hey guys, you probably heard about the situation of queer folks in Poland. The ruling party has made homo- and transphobia into a new national virtue. Around 1/3 of local authorities adopted resolutions about fighting “gender ideology”. Gender transition in Poland is a very complicated and expensive process. All of this puts young queer people in a vulnerable situation, resulting in appalling rates of mental illness affecting them. On top of that, children’s psychiatric wards are overcrowded and one region doesn’t have such ward at all. (It’s Podlasie with a population of 1,8 million people.)

The poster above was made by the illustrator Szarosen. It reads “[Please] love me, mom and dad”. It’s a response to posters with the slogan “Love each other, mom and dad” which appeared across many towns in Poland. The organization responsible for those is known to be anti-divorce and has fundamentalist ties, advocating for married couples staying together despite home abuse. Szarosen’s drawing points to the lack of support, discrimination and even violence which many queer kids have to face, sometimes from their own families.

WELL IT FINALLY HAPPENED

I've been kicked out for being disabled and asking for accessibility and I really need help finding new housing ASAP. all the shelters in my area are full, including the ones they referred me to, so the referral is pointless.

I need help raising funds for first/last/deposit and application fees for a new place, as quickly as possible, because this place is not shy about throwing people out on the street AND I AM IN A WHEELCHAIR. anything helps. thank you all for your support.

Let’s be honest.

As much as I love RuPaul’s Drag Race - and all other projects related to, or by past contestants - it’s kinda hard to watch the show(s) and not hear Michelle Visage’s voice in the background, telling you that you need to be cinched, or how your makeup looks terrible, or how she’s getting bored with your drag, or whatever else you’re doing wrong, because RPDR is essentially a competition show.

In short, it’s hard to watch most drag-related shows these days, or at least Drag Race-related shows, without getting into that American “reality show” mindset.

So thank god for Drag SOS.

It’s new. It’s British. And it’s about drag.

It’s basically Queer Eye meets Drag Race. In fact, it is to Drag Race, what GBBO is to American baking competitions. It’s the feel good, fun, and carefree drag show I guarantee you never knew you needed. Right from the first episode we get the laughter, and the tears, and the moments where you remember why drag is so awesome.

I think it’s on Channel 4 or something in the UK, but I’m not the most familiar with the channel sets there, so let me know if you have any further info on that.

But until then, however you can, PLEASE watch this show and remember that drag is fun, drag is creative, and that drag - in all it’s shapes and forms - can bring people together. <3
