I haven't seen all the spoilers but is it not sounding a bit like Nate 2.0 for Mack?

He fights with Charity, packs a bag to leave, meets John, disappears never to be seen alive again.

Everyone just thinks he's run off or left the village or whatever.

Kammy's fantastic and seems really resilient.

But I suspect we're going to start learning a little more about him.

This episode gave me the impression he represses things to cope.

Which probably means he has secrets of some sort that will come out sooner or later.

I'm actually quite impressed by Bradley's acting. He's been playing a bit of a blinder here with this Vinny storyline. It's a dumb story, but it's bringing out a good performance.

Glad they're really stretching him because he's good.

I take back anything negative I said about Vinny after catching up on yesterday's episode.

God that was painful. Poor guy. That flashback was a knife to the heart.

He's in such a difficult situation. I still wish he'd be honest with everyone, and throwing Kammy under the bus is rude, but I feel so bad for him.

No wonder Bradley went home in tears after filming this stuff.

This Vinny stuff actually really intrigues me.

Is it insane? Is it ridiculous? Is it making Vinny look like an awful human being? Yes, yes, and probably.

But it compels me.

One thing I will say about these two is that whatever people’s personal opinions are of these characters, both Lawrence J Robb and Oliver Farnworth are amazing actors and were a credit to the show. They seem like really lovely, genuine actors. I can’t wait to see them in action in these upcoming weeks as I know they’ll smash it but I hope they both do well whatever they do next!

I haven't seen all the spoilers yet but what I have seen is that Robron sleep together so Aaron decides to try and take John out of the village, leaving Robert heartbroken.

Meanwhile, I understand Mack and Charity are having a complete marriage breakdown?

So maybe I'm delusional but perhaps Mackbert could happen as a desperate one night stand?

Love Oliver as John but he did always have a shelf life.

Hopefully that he's leaving doesn't mean he dies.

Wishing Oliver all the best and hope he enjoyed his time on the show. Fingers crossed that we'll see him again but I doubt it.

So at this point I think Ross just needs to marry a Dingle. I know everyone slates Dingledale but this is where we are. There's not much to be done about it now.

And I love Ross but they can't invent an entire new branch of Bartons for him. He desperately needs people but it's just not going to happen.
