Finally completed the last achievement in Fallout 4 on the PC. We had done all of them on the PlayStation but never got around to it on Steam. Some how every time we played Far Harbor we somehow managed to complete it without completing Push Back The Fog and The Way Life Should Be, not really sure how. Benevolent Leader was very easy, done at Longfellow’s Cabin, with just Longfellow as the sole settler because you need less stuff the fewer settlers you have to hit 100% happiness. Having all the Vault Tech DLC made it much easier, we completed it on console before we had the dlc so had to have lots of settlers for bars, this time just used a bunch of weight benches and pommel horses and left him to farming while I made sure I completed the DLC in a way that would actually complete all the quests.

Intermission: Fallout 4
My brain is getting more and more disorganized as I try to keep track of this game so I am going to stop posting about it. I had never really planned to post about Fallout or other games on here, but depending on where my brain is, sometimes it is an easier game to play than The Sims, then other times My Time At Portia is easier (cutest post-apocalypse game), or Stardew Valley.
I have played through every ending of the game that are the normal ones I hear about, Minutemen Ideal ending, Minutemen with Brotherhood gone, Railroad, Brotherhood, and Institute. What I was hoping to accomplish this time around is an ending I haven’t seen done, Minutemen only at the end. Use the Institute to take out the Railroad, by which time you will have angered the Brotherhood of Steel, then use the Minutemen to take out the Institute, and then finish with taking out the Brotherhood of Steel. I am sure someone has done this before, I just haven’t seen it or heard anyone talk about it. Just thought it would be interesting to see how well that works, while trying to do as many of the quests as possible before taking nearly all of the factions out.

Added a third floor so they have two more apartments and a bigger social/shopping area.

Then I moved the two apartments.

Still wasn’t sure about it as the final layout.

Did some other stuff then came back and added some lights.
Intermission: Fallout 4: Tenpines Bluff

I have a tendency to over build in the beginning. This place is usually done with the regular wood, but decided to go with warehouse this time because it works better with the broken building, in that I can create a second floor easily over the broken walls. This building will eventually become something else, probably the socializing building because they like to hang out in here, but for now it is currently the extra bedroom.
This settlement is a challenge because I try to not have more than ¾ beds per building/doorway, because otherwise they just end up stuck in their buildings all the time. With most settlements I try to have one side be lined with homes, the opposite side lined with shops, and the food in the middle. If there is space there will be seating and other entertainment on either side not already covered in homes or shops. That helps to have the settlements feel lived in to me because the settlers will be walking around, back and forth, all day.
This settlement tends to end up with 2/3 story buildings and stairs coming down all over the place to make sure everyone can path around. So right now I have no idea what this will end up looking like. It may end up with this building taken down and instead using wood to build something because it fits with the theme better. But it is hard to say right now, because I need to be really inspired to build and right now my head hurts and inspiration is limited.

The Sims: Unleashed: Kat: Day 07

I normally don’t mind you El Bandito, but really, not this house.

No idea what caused that.

Finally, also the kitten’s name.

The one with the plum-bob is the new one.

She broke the sink!
I had her call the repairman. I only plan on going back in this house just to take her off lot to get her interests fixed. I do not enjoy this family and there is no way she can get a promotion to even be able to afford her home with how stressful the environment is for her. I have no idea who come up with this house, but it feels cruel.

The Sims: Unleashed: Kat: Day 04

Ginia is not excited about work and I am not excited about this household, it is very stressful and will probably not be played very long because stress is something I try to get away from in my Sims games.

I can’t tell if they are sleeping, breeding, or playing.

Gophers already

Daily pets, and I am making sure she gets everyone.

Elden showed up.

Hired gardener and maid, I don’t think she can afford it because she only makes $180 a day.

Elden kept interrupting so they had beans instead of steak.

Desperately trying to raise fun.
