Roomie Bonding.

Spending the evening with Berry, I'm sure by the end of the night we're both going to be singing along to some sort of Broadway tune, ugh. I shouldn't have let her decide what we're doing.  I'm not complaining. I'm actually pretty stoked. 

Also, I may or may not have convinced my Dad to get us tickets to New York next week. Super excited.

Sam: Oh I did /nothing/ to it. Mercedes on the other hand decided to throw it off a wall in this pizza place and broke it.

Sam: I'm sorry! You should have texted me or something. I've been...busy. Is this what you want though Santana? You can't love her like you loved her in high school because you're not there anymore, things are different now I get it. It's like everything else in life though, you grow and learn to love in a new way. Brittany was your future wife, I've heard you say it. One day when one of you have kids you could say "I can't love her like I did before there were children involved." What would you do then? Leave her?

Sam: I just think you might have been a bit impulsive on this one....

Santana: Impulsive? I'd been thinking about it all damn week and I went home to talk to her about it.. she knew it was coming.. I think we both did.

Santana: I do love her Sam but I can't give her anything right now. I can't be available to her all the time because I have to work.. i might wanna go to New York... and if... if she knew that It might kill her so I need her to understand that we can't be together. She's my best friend.. I love her more than anything but I'm not going to break her heart every day.

Santana: Wait. Why did Cedes break your phone...? Did you eat some of her tots or something?

Sam: Yeah okay that sounds good. I'm going to try and read what you're saying though because I'm dealing with a broken screen right now...

Sam: She was? She seemed pretty content at school. I mean I know she's sad she isn't with you at school anymore but she never sounded like she wanted to break up or anything. Are you sure this was the right thing Santana?

San: Broken screen? What do you mean what did you do?

San: Look you were gone... and I couldn't talk to you and I should be fairly pissed at you too because you're my person I can talk to this shit about but you weren't there so I did what I needed to do. She doesn't show it to other people.. just me. She came to visit me the other weekend and put me on a guilt trip about not being "alone" together. I have a roommate, I'm in college.. I love her but I can't love her like I did in high school.

My weekend has been shitty but hey, can't win em all right? Did you hear that McKinley is doing Grease? I hear that they're letting other schools participate too... You gonna audition?

This weekend has been a very successful one.

The Dalton Academy swim team won our swim meet just like I knew they would. And against my better judgement I actually went celebrating with the team.  Not on only did I get in  very late but I also woke up at 5:30 for my morning workout so it’s been  a very eventful day thus far. Enough about me though, how was everyone else’s weekend?

Turns out, sadness is stupid, so I’m trying to find the sunshine inside of me again instead. This is still my year, even if I don’t have my girlfriend anymore. I guess I just gotta start focusing on me a little bit more, and I’m going to work really hard to get into college. I already told Ms. P to make sure they have one of those cute pointy hats and a red dress all ready for me, because I’m totally gonna graduate this time for sure.

Well, after spending the past 3 days wallowing in my own pathetic self pity and sadness, I'm over it. I'm done lounging around. I have a life to live and fun to have. 

I need to move on.
