You Can’t Find My House
I just got off the phone with mom, and we came to the realization that my family has lived in a series of unplottable houses for a couple generations now.
-The First Unplottable House is on my dad’s side of the family, in Delphi, Iowa.  The directions to it are the stuff of Buried Treasure:  Turn off the county road with a fraction in it’s name, to the Named Dirt Road, then turn at The Discount Eggs Sign on to the Unnamed dirt road that takes a meandering path THROUGH a corn field, DO NOT take any forks on that road or the farmer will shoot your ass, then take the paved road that dead-ends on ALL the way to the end- No, farther, the road keeps going it’s not a cliff-The only indication that You Have Arrived At The Correct Driveway is that a fat gray pony will charge the car, screaming, then escort you the rest of the way there.
It’s on the side of an enormous river, they’ve owned the property since 1911, and that’s the ONLY route there.
-The Second Unplottable house is in Bedford, Ohio and belonged to my mother’s parents.  It’s at the corner of two side-streets, right across from the tiny Italian grocery store.  Due to strange development decisions, the house is about 30 feet above street level and rendered invisible by a chestnut tree so majestic Hyao Myazaki would probably put it in a movie.  The driveway, however, is VERY visible from any of the surrounding houses, the grocer, or the street.
At least in theory and old photos, becuase if you actually GO there,  your eyes slide right past it to the neighbor’s lillac bush, or to the retro neons of the grocery store or up the Chestnut tree.  it is literally HARD to look at that driveway, all the world around it wants to pull you away.
-The Third Unplottable house is in Salinas, CA, home of my paternal grandparents.  It is the single most BORING house possible- like, if you were to ask a third-grader to draw a prototypical house, they would draw my grandparent’s house.  Utterly Unremarkable.
Except for the part where my Grandfather, spurred by his success with the “non-fruiting” peach tree, decided to plant a California Redwood Tree, and it grew to approximately 150 feet over the course of a few short decades.  It is the tallest damn thing for miles around, and SOMEHOW deliveries keep being missed, mail is delivered to the neighbors, and any non-blood family that tried to visit would end up on the other side of town.
-The Fourth Unplottable House was the one I grew up in CA.  The Directions to it are as follows:  It’s the Bright Orange house Right Across From The School.  You know, the one with six flamingos and the Volunteer Avacado Tree.
SOMEHOW, we got everyone’s mail but OURS (we still wonder about the letter from Fort Knox for Mr. Thomas Saxophone), the other kids got lost trying to visit and ended up in Mr.Phan’s yard on the other end of the block.  Officer Brown, Mom and Dad’s friend, who had GPS back in the early 90′s becuase silicon valley, regularly got lost looking for our place.  The Flamingos did nothing.
-My parent’s current house is the second house on the right  after two right turns off the state highway that runs through town.  Sounds easy, right?
Except that due to a couple small trees and a bend in the road, the house is invisible from the road.  I have to stand out in the road if i want my pizza delivered.  The Mailman is the only person who could reliably find the box, but he drives a subaru that’s older than my sister from the passenger side by leaning over, and delivers mail based on the aztec lunar calendar, so he’s probably not actually human.  I tried to host a party, tied rainbow balloons to the mailbox, and all nine friends had to be waved in from the street.
-My current apartment building Does Not Exist, according to my Bank, medicaid, Google, and City Hall which was a bit exciting when I first moved in and had to call everyone that yes, I was sitting in a building that really exists.
Unless it’s my classmates, becuase they can apparently come to parties I don’t host. This Friday I had a friend telling me she had a great time at my place last Teusday… when I was home alone.  She assures me that I held a houseparty with “Those polish things you make” (I make great mini klatchky, but haven’t served them to her) and that “You were definitely there, we talked about Carvaggio and you drive me home”

Okay, so with Quackity Studios tweeting about adding new people and the need for tolerance and patience with people who don't speak English, let's just take a second and have a chat about what that's gonna look like.
First: you will hear things or read things on the translator that hurt or offend you.
This is inevitable. Do not immediately post about it. What you need tolerance for is hearing things that hurt or offend you and what you need patience for is figuring out of malicious intent was present or if this is a hill worth dying on right now.
As an example, we're pretty sure at this point that Korean is gonna be the next language added. The second person pronoun in Korean sounds a lot like the n-word in English. The n-word in English, if you're not aware, is like the single most offensive slur we have. It's not something that you want to hear unexpectedly. But also, if we get Koreans, they're gonna be using the word for "you" and English speakers are gonna have to be able to tolerate that.
On the other side of things, Korean has a complex system of honorifics and addressing someone without an honorific would be considered very forward and intimate at least if not very rude. None of the QSMP languages have honorifics though and only French really retains formality* so no one else is going to address them with honorifics unless they specifically explain it to people and walk them through it. That will probably be weird and uncomfortable for them and they're going to have to be able to tolerate that.
*Spanish and Portuguese do technically have formal vs informal but it's disappearing quickly in both of them.
These natural cultural clashes and pain points are going to be harder to overcome since we also know that at least some of these creators won't speak English at all so they can't just switch to English to helpfully explain things to us easily in a way we understand. We're going to have to deal.
So here's the thing: just because there can be cultural miscommunications and mistranslations, that doesn't mean that people can't also be assholes. How do you distinguish between the two?
Step One: Assume good faith. Assume that everyone in a given encounter is trying to communicate respectfully and compassionately and that a failure to do so can be overcome
Step Two: Don't get involved. Especially not in Twitch Chat. Two or more people trying to communicate through a language barrier does not get easier when they're also trying to wrangle hostile viewers.
Step Three: Are you sure you heard what you thought you heard or saw what you thought you saw? Did the translator fuck up? Is it a word that just coincidentally happens to sound like another word? If this is the case, the streamers can ask for clarification or use another tool and get it cleared up. Keep watching and see if they do.
Step Four: If they did say what you thought they said, are the streamers handling it? We had a thing a while back where Bad called some friends, including Bagi and Etoiles, uncultured because they didn't get a reference he was making and Etoiles was like "bro I'm French" and Bad apologized. That should have been the end of it, but I had to see people arguing about it for weeks. The problem was solved in 10 seconds.
Step Five: If the person is doubling down, are you sure this is something you can fix by yelling about it on Twitter or Tumblr? Would it be better to let people who actually know them talk to them behind the scenes? Pierre made a few missteps in the beginning of the server, Quackity said they had a chat, Pierre hasn't misstepped since. It's just easier to sort things out in private, one on one conversation than yelling at someone in public.
In short: it's fine to take note of behavior in case patterns start to emerge in it, but yelling on social media about how so and so is the worst person possible is not constructive.

I posted a fan art about Bbh in this style before, now is the time to add Etoiles, finished a month ago. And here, I really, really struggled with this drawing, especially with the colors. So... I will say that it's ok like that :|
(I don't know yet if I'm going to make other characters in this style, maybe one day Baghera or Antoine)

Alllright, so 1, it appears that some of the scoring was changed so I'm gonna look for any new values (I used to get S with my answers, now I get B, similar with some friends). Anyone who sees this, if you did the quiz early, redo it, see if you get something different.
But here's what I found, assuming the points at least are the same as what you said.
40: Potential Investor
39-37: Cucurucho
36-34: S-rank worker
33-29: A-rank worker
28-24: B-rank worker
23-19: C-rank worker
18-14: Island guest
13-10: D-rank worker
Some notes about how I tested in case I missed anything - I only tried each combination once, using the first half as the low numbers and the second half as high numbers. If there are any differences depending on when you choose a high or low number, I did not check.
Also, I have not actually checked every value. I would often skip a couple numbers trying to find the boundary of each result. (I did not want to run the quiz 30 times) So while I imagine this is mostly accurate, if there are any different results that appear at a score between the bounds I set, I would not know.
Finally, I am a human, and not a human who knows how to look through code, this was all manual. I could have misclicked something and messed up the score. Or the scores could have been changed along with the results. If so, this data could be incorrect.
But still, this should give an indication, and feel free to check any of the values if anyone still sees this!
(Also side note I'm a little concerned about the fact that we have to click the button a bunch more to even get in, what does that imply?)
will crop it but below is how the test works if anyone wants to know! (lots of nerd stuff abt the site itself) (made this just for funsies :D)
..so, every answer gives points (from 4 to 1, the site has each one so it's easy to count)
the score at the end determines the result. ex. - I got the "island guest" result because my score was 40 (4 on all 10 questions). lowest score possible (10) - simply does not give any result (idk why, happens ig)
s rank (that I tested) - 28\27\26 - probably the most common result because if you choose answers at random it will probably be 25 or something like it (...I think). surprisingly, A rank I got was 29 points.
also interesting thing - lowest score possible is 14, the result I got from 14,15 is potential investor. second lowest with 21 points is cucurucho.
I do not yet have any data for d,b and c ranks and my data for some results are not a lot (bc it was done manually and I hate the 30 button in the beggining lmao). so any data I get will be added later or from results of other ppl.
the scores work kinda strange so it might be a while (like if d rank is a specific score and can be got only by 1 combination.)
why did I did all that you also may ask? if this quiz has any significance on later days - it would be neat to quickly get the result you want. if it has 0 significance like at all - it was fun and its interesting to try to figure stuff out with 0 knowledge of code and stuff like this! :DDD (also a good time killer while my food cooks)
(also also, I can later rb with all the numbers that corespond to each question if it is of interest. they do exist on the site so idk)
-- updated1 - so i found a B rank score! its 34, second highest after island guest so far
personally I think b d and c ranks are somwhere at the 30+- gonna go do some tests and add later

I’ve been thinking a lot about Leonarda’s not-death ever since it happened back in April.
(“What death?” you might ask, to which I say: “EXACTLY!”)
Back in mid-April, Vegetta and Leonarda were mining together in a one-block wide tunnel. A mob (a Petriman) got between the two of them, and Vegetta told Leonarda to step back while he took care of it. At this point, they’d spent enough time together that he trusted Leo to listen to him.
Instead, she was killed by the same sweeping edge bug that killed her siblings.
