Surge sans Aka Retro sans

Retro is a mutated parasite that has his own powers but still needs a soul to feed off of as well as a host. Retro's mutation prevents him from producing other parasites but his personal magic let's him steal other people energy and control their soul if he wants to.

True form- parasite

Parasite has green that allows ties to be made with other hosts letting him control people

Knows how to use whips, bows, daggers, bats and machetes. He can make any weapon an extension of his magic: weapon will glow a light pink color. If any of the weapons touch an appoint during this pink glow they will be infected with Retro's magic. There will be no noticeable change to the opponents soul until Retro chooses to control them, then the opponents soul will have a faint green glow. Once Retro stops controlling them the green glow will be dormate and disappear until he wants to control them again.

Power explanation:

Pink- transfer magic that can act like a virus that infects people, anything pink can infect you.

Green- a signature that he is controlling them, it can be dormate and use the hosts personal magic to keep it alive while dormate. Takes very little magic from the owner of the soul, Retro can send more magic to a particular person then activate the dormate magic he places on the host. This person's magic and body will be Retro's puppet, the psyche of the person will still be conscious-just confused on why their body is moving on its own. If they are knocked out their body and magic will still move until Retro releases it.

His control(green) magic has no distance limit but can be easily broken if someone notices it while it's actived. If a restriction is placed on the monster while Retro has control over their body it will cure them of Retro's influence.

Normally wears pink fingerless gloves so I'd be careful not to shake his hands, he might have his pink magic going through his palms.

He can move his hosts soul anywhere in the body, pelvis, skull, ribs.

So, I've seen a lot of people describing the Wilbur situation as like a car wreck or a fire or some other disaster that's destroying their community and I want to offer an alternative perspective.

To be clear: it hurts. It hurts like a bitch. It fucking sucks and it's awful and we all wish we weren't going through it and if you need to log off and throw a little baby tantrum about it, feel free. I've already done that a couple times.

But I think the pain is more like resetting a badly healed bone or cleaning an infected wound. It hurts, but the process is ultimately healing.

What we're going to be left with at the end of this process is a stronger community with one less abuser in it, maybe even more if more people feel empowered to come forward. Shelby wasn't the only person Wilbur hurt. Even if she had been, that would have been enough to justify getting rid of him, but she wasn't. There are so many people now who will be more comfortable and happier and safer in the community, which will be stronger and more open and more able to trust.

Is it going to hurt to get there? Yes. Does it hurt a lot right now? Yes. Would it have been a thousand times worse to let it fester for fear of that pain? Yes.

Cry about it all you need, but it's not a disaster. It's a surgery.
