“Tsushima Shuuji,” Chuuya reads out loud. “A bright, optimistic young man with a pep in his step and a zest for life. Hang on–is this referring to you?”

“Unfortunately,” Dazai laments, sighing dramatically. “You just got away with ‘science nerd’ and ‘soccer player,’ but I’m supposed to be an artist! I hate art! It’s useless!”

“Shut the fuck up. That’s not the problem here. You? A ‘zest for life?’ Looking forward to each new morning? Hah! Rimbaud would sooner come back to life.”

Dazai turns to Chuuya with the barest facsimile of a smile painted over his lips.

“I,” he says sweetly, “am going to gut you open like a fish.”

Dazai and Chuuya are seasoned mafiosos at the ripe old age of almost-seventeen. They’ve fought gang wars, interrogated prisoners, and done all manner of unspeakable things. Now, they face their greatest challenge yet: going (undercover) to a real high school. With regular teens (who may or may not be desperately trying to get them to kiss). One thing’s for sure: this school is unprepared for the absolute calamity that is Double Black.

Okay, Barty would pretend to be tough and flirt around with Evan when around others, but AS SOON as they are alone - he melts. He melts into a puddle in front of this man, he stumbles over his words and thoughts and Evan just stands there SMIRKING and then just says "shut up and kiss me, Crouch" and Barty would fucking WIMPER, he would be so pathetic, no one would ever even think he could be. And Evan loves it, and despite being all push-around with Barty, he cares so much and would most definitely show it with his actions and not words. He would say "go fuck yourself" and then pull Barty close and gently kiss him on the forehead while playing with his hair, because Evan is just as obsessed and pathetic with him, he's just better at hiding it, and the best thing is that Barty knows.

James didn't know he had ADHD, because it was the 70s. He did know that he was different, though. He knew since his first year at Hogwarts, where he was surrounded by his peers, who just didn't seem to struggle with the same stuff he did.

He was worried he would be too weird for anyone to actually be friends with him.

And he was a lot for a lot of people, but not for his friends. His friends, who noticed his struggles and adapted without blinking an eye. His friends who found ways to help him without ever mentioning it.

Remus kept a hair tie around his wrist to lent James when he needed to fidget.

Peter always carried several extra quills in his bag to give James when he forgot his or broke it when he was moving around a lot.

Sirius dragged him out of the castle for a run whenever James got bouncy.

They all reminded him the deadlines of their assignments and the books he left somewhere.

They physically shielded him when other students were giving him dirty looks for not being still in the library or the classrooms.

And nobody ever understood why all of these little things meant so much to James.
