Hello TPN fandom, it has been a while

While I was walking back home, an idea for a possible concept for a TPN game hit my brain

(Note: please don't expect I will do this project, because Idk how to code a game and there's a lot on my plate😅 maybe, maybe there's a 1% of chance I will eventually start it and even a smaller chance to finish it if my TPN brainrot strikes back but currently idk)

Genre: Adventure/Thriller

Type: Scrolling Platform (with both interactions and weapons to use)

The game is a readaptation of the manga plus a few addendums to make it more immersive story wise

The keyword of this game is everyone and has 5 endings (minus the game overs)

Endings: Tragic Ending, Forgotten Ending, Faded Ending, Split Ending and True Ending

In order to achieve the Best/True Ending you must:

- Have everyone live in every group (minutes the canon deads from the manga such as Yuugo's)

- Emma must have three items linked to Ray, Norman and the rest of her family

Ray: his Polaroid (can be found in a room, after Isabella ran to "save" Ray's body in the fire at the end of the first arc)

Norman: Idk yet (but let's avoid the items that canonically will be brought with the characters, such as Norman's pen or Minerva's book)

Family: Connie's plush (location??)

- Ray, Norman and Phil must have an item each that links them to Emma

Ray: ???

Norman: Emma's cardboard telephone

Phil: ???

Failing to the one of these tasks will lead to the other endings, which means in this game the characters might die!

There are two ways for this:

- the stage deads (family members or friends getting killed by level enemies such as wild demons or the bunker raid)

To avoid this, you must keep an eye on your friends and literally interact with them to allow them to go onward the path (pulling a child by the hand to make them run faster, pushing a sibling up, take them on your shoulders or give them directions where to move)

- the events dead, which are quick time events that you'll need to press a specific key to save the characters involved in the tragic cut scene:

Rossi (bunker raid), Chris (=), Alicia or Dominic (search for bunker dads), Anna?? (medicine), Sandy & Sonya & Gillian (Goldy Pond), Barbara & Zazie & Cislo (attack to the palace)

In the manga all these characters survive despite being closed to death but in this game, there's a chance you might lose one or more if you aren't fast enough

Example: after they escape, Dominic is shot to the leg and Alicia is held hostage by Andrew

If we fail Oliver's quick time event, Andrew will shoot Alicia (then he will start laughing maniacally and get eaten by the wild demon, which will allow us to save Dominic)

If we fail the Wild Demon quick event but will succeed saving Alicia, Andrew will stomp on Dominic killing him (then he will get eaten anyway, which means Alicia is safe)

If we fail to help Rossi escape from the bunker, he will get trapped and killed

And so on...

When any of these events will happen, the player will have 1-2 seconds to open the menu and restart the level

Otherwise the game will save automatically and the character will be permadead until the player starts again a new run

Only losing one of the three MCs (Emma or Ray or Norman) will lead to a game over

Gameplay:

The player will control either one of the characters according to the pov of the manga chapter (often Emma, Norman, Ray, Phil, Yuugo, etc...)

The character can only move to left or right with A or S (the keys W and D will allow it to move to a parallel layer, kinda like this: -1,0,+1 which will be necessary to hide or turn around an obstacle)

All the characters (both MC and NPCs) have two bars: health and stamina, and the length depends on the character

The MC will also have an additional bar of Mental Health which will be influenced by how many people will lose: the highest the number, the lowest the bar will be

Emptying it completely, will make the MC fall in depression and will lead to a game over

The enemies such as Isabella or Andrew will have in place a Suspicious bar, which will rise every time we'll do something wrong such as choosing the wrong answer in a dialogue (fulling it completely will lead either to a game over or to a loss)

They can also jump, crouch, sprint, use their weapon with Q when allowed and interact with E

The intro with Connie's adoption will serve as a first part of the tutorial (walk, interact, hide) while Krone's chase will serve as the second part of the tutorial (sprint, grab or pull your siblings, jump and avoid obstacles)

During the cut scene, you must pay attention to choose your dialogue wisely otherwise Isabella or other enemies might get suspicious

The dialogues will be also essential to make other characters side with us (example: convince Norman to stop his genocide)

Failing this will lead us to the Split Ending

During the chases, you must pay attention to not lose any friend or to not get killed in place

The weapons of the game will have two kinds of bullets:

The normal bullets that are endless and the Special bullets, used to break demons masks and will be a limited number

The endings

The story will proceed like in the manga, and in the end we will get either one of the 5 endings

The Tragic Ending:

If we lose everyone (collecting any item won't charge anything) when Emma will reach for HIM, she will be severely depressed and won't be able to make the deal, convinced that nothing really matters at this point

She will get trapped forever in that dimension, Ray will also lose himself in the woods depressed too and Norman will go on with the genocide, eventually succumbing to the Lambda disease

The Forgotten Ending:

If in the end Emma will have more items of Ray, Norman and Phil (the number of people alive won't change anything), she'll wake up on the human side of earth remembering everything, but her whole family will forget her forever

The Faded Ending:

If Ray, Norman and Phil will have more items than Emma, she will wake up without her memories while her family will remember her like in canon, but she won't be able to rejoin them and they won't be able to find her ever again

The Split Ending:

If both Emma and her family will either have the same number of items or zero and/or some people will die in game, or we'll fail to make Norman side with us, we'll get an ending where HIM used his powers to distort the dimension and events:

Our trio will be separated forever and so everyone

Emma will wake up convinced she is Mikhailow's biological daughter and they are both refugees in Alaska and will never leave that land

Ray is a guardian to the gate between the two worlds and will be forever haunted by the spirit of his mother

Norman will be the last heir of the Ratri clan and will guide it in the demon world

The others will live with their "families" and will have a cut scene dedicated to them (the numbers will depend on the survivors)

The cutscenes and events involving the quick time events characters will be more tragic

Example: Chris will wake up in the hospital, and he will be the only survivor of a traffic car accident, which will lead to have nightmares and develop a Survivor Guilt Syndrome

The others (Nat, Yvette, Mark, Pepe, etc...) won't have a tragic cutscene but something will make them feel as if they have lost something important (though they can't quite tell what)

Phil will have his special cutscene and will be very tragic: he remembers everything!

But He is the only one, and every time he tries to tell something no one will believe him!

The True Ending:

The canon ending from the manga (with maybe a couple more scenes, such as Emma and Chris reunion)

So... That's all!

I feel like Ame84 is underrated and misunderstood in a way...

(It's been a long time since I've read the manga so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

They are my (only) fav moon gem because I feel like they had an actual development

And they literally had the same goal as Phos

Find a way to give happiness to both gems and lunarians

The difference is that they changed their plan and accepted their fate once they knew they couldn't bring back the grinded gems anymore

They truly evolved a lot
