"Adoration to Hathor the Great"
written and read by Tamara Wyndham, accompanied by Ariel Kleinberg on sistra, in Ariel's studio on Governor's Island.
Mask and paintings by Ariel Kleinberg.
September, 2022
The poem was written referring to ancient aretologies of the Egyptian goddess Hathor. Hathor could appear as a woman with the head of a cow, as a woman wearing cow horns and a sun disk, or as a cow. She was a mother goddess, a goddess of love, beauty, and dancing, and also greeted the deceased when they arrived in the Underworld.

"Call Femella" is a ritual I wrote to call upon the strengths and qualities of the Goddesses. This is an illustrated instruction book so that you can perform the ritual yourself.
I am going to perform this ritual tomorrow, Friday, September 8th: Program from 6-9 pm. At the The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural & Educational Center in New York City.
For "Celebrating Women and Mother Earth" curated by Mirla Pereira.
