The Valkyrie Brynhildr, the "Sigrdrifa" - Victory-bringer. After being woken from her cursed slumber, she offers the hero Sigurth the memory-draught, a horn of mystical mead to awaken the ancient memories.

In the Hyndluljóð, Freya and the seeress Hyndla ride toward Valhalla (Freya riding on her boar). Their mission is to trace the lineage of Ottarr so he can come into his inheritance.

Another story-stone illustration for the Edda. In the Hymiskviða Thor goes on an expedition and ends up going fishing with the giant Hymir and hooks the great world-serpent Jormungandr with an ox-head.

A great deal of my visual inspiration for the art style for the runic Edda project comes from metalwork from the Migration Period onward. Ancient Germanic and Celtic metalwork is the toppest of the top notch.
