Thesis and Conclusion

Will people treat gender diversity through gaming and how do people overcome it in modern society. I have written 9 diaries for this semester and I have learned new things every week. Through my weekly dairies I have found out that there are more males playing and streaming games compared to female. How do I know? I use this streaming website called twitch, twitch is a platform for people to do the things they like such as gaming and streaming their game to live audience. As I go through the categories I can see that male usually plays game longer compared to female. I find this topic quite interesting and I have learned so much from it, When I start looking through this topic, I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. I see videos of people talking about gaming and gender in YouTube, they usually talk about why female should not be in the business because female is good at making money compared to men. Some videos even show some women showing parts of their body to earn cash quick. This issue got very serious and went viral. In my conclusion I should say no matter what we do, we should as least know what you’re getting into and know the consequences.

Dota 2 is a 5 man game, each player has his own roles they need to work together and plan a strategy to win the opposite team. The team that has a good communication and strategy has a higher chance of winning. In Dota 2 it also requires personal skill set to win lanes, if you are higher level than other player you most likely has a higher chance of winning your lane and the game. it is important to place wards. what are wards? wards gives you vision of a place, when you place  the ward it activates it with a round shape vision for your team. The ward help you identify your opponents and telling you information about the opposite teams movement. Dota 2 started few years ago, it is very famous nowadays because of it game play and teamwork. Winning the game will grand you and your team a title and a trophy to symbolize your victory and a money reward with it.

Red dead redemption 2 is a third person shooting game it include action and u get to explore the world in a western theme. In this game you are brought back to the 1911, which is near the end of the seventy -year span of the western American Frontier. You as a adventurer does quest and help other in need to get respect point which grants u exclusive items and reward throughout the game. This game has been in the market for 7 years but it is still considered one of the best game in that year. Due to the success of this game they have release multiple version if the game to let players experience the game in a different form. Now you’re able to play with other online players that likes this kind of western shooting/adventure game. It is by far the best game of 2018 and people are having so much fun playing this game when it was published

Pokemon is an adventure game, u can explore places and catch Pokemon. When u start your game u will have the option to choose a male character or female character by your choice. A scientist let u choose your adventure partner at his personal lab. Through your adventure will encounter other special type of pokemon. When you defeat a pokemon it will gain your adventure partners experience level higher. Throughout the game you will fight bosses from different villages, after defeating the bosses you will receive special badges, the badges you collected will determined how good a experience player u are.

GTA stands for Grand Theft Auto, which is a single player game. The games gold is to complete missions by doing side and main mission each time you complete a level you as the character will unlock certain item in your inventory to improve your further game play. There is also a option for you to choose if you want to play the game online where you get to experience mission with your friends or from other people in different community. You also get to customize your very own character online, in GTA players get to enjoy in game Heist created by the community, each game play has different game style therefore it is best if you follow the instructions carefully to succeed the heist.

Last year a game was created it is called Fortnite, Fortnite has become more and more possible everyday due to the success of the game, the reason why it is so popular the is the fact that it is free and has a battle royale game mode in it. Today most battle royale games are increasing in popularity because more people are more into these kind of games more compared to other game mode on the internet market. Fortnite is now on every mobile and gaming platform, such as Iphone, Ipad and more. Fortnite earn their money through online in game currency, Fortnite creates skins and other bundles to attract consumers to buy it.Fortnite updates their game quite often to let players enjoy the other game modes and new skins that makes Fornite so popular till now.
