Ponytober Day 28 - Terramar (Magic)

My favorite one so far!! I've had this prompt planned out from day one, as Terramar is another one of my favorite side characters and I needed to find the perfect spot to draw him into this prompt list!! I just love how his character displays both the depths of having two separate homes, and two separate cultures! And it's fun that they added a play of physically differentiating the two with land vs water! He also just has really neat design and a cool voice [:

Ponies changing their name on marriage is the most confusing thing to me because like. Not all ponies have clear surnames, and its entirely arbitrary. Later on we'll learn that Mrs. Cake, Pinkie's boss, who's full name is Cup Cake, changed her name when she married Carrot Cake. But like, her name wasn't Cup [something] before she married him, it was like, Chiffon Swirl or some shit. She changed her entire damn name at marriage, why the fuck. What happens if Rarity and AJ marry
