in this au, zenitsu, jigoro, and kaigaku are all pushed back like 10 years in the timeline– their births, their lives, their stories. muzan still attacks the thunder breathing training camp and still kills kaigaku/turns zenitsu into a demon, but sometime afterwards, when jigoro and zenitsu are travelling, they run into a lower-6 member of the 12 kizuki. jigoro’s killed, and zenitsu, in a fit of Anime Rage, kills the 12 kizuki member and is found sobbing over jigoro’s body by like,, kanae or something.

after a lot of convincing from kanae, the hashiras take him in and train him !!

not much development after that. he just sort of exists to look cool ldsfjka

His cry tore through the cold air. He screwed his eyes tightly shut, wishing away his fate like it were a monster under his bed. For a moment, there was only silence- a rare, suffocating, deathly silence- broken only by the sound of his master's breath hitching hard in his throat. His blade, poised high and mere moments from being driven into his neck, clattered to the ground.

Warmth.

That familiar warmth met his now-cold skin, kind against the cruelty of the winter air; against the cooling blood soaking through from his severed arm. It wrapped around him in a way he'd never felt before.

"Forgive me, Zenitsu..." Kuwajima's voice, once loud and booming, now quietly shook. "Forgive me!"

it’s a little sad, but as of december 24th, 2020, i think i’m,, done with demon slayer. i hop fandoms really often, and i just don’t have any inspiration for the demon zenitsu au anymore,, so after today, i’m probably not gonna post very very sporadically, if at all.

hey! so for those of you who didn’t already know, i currently live in Japan, where same-sex marriage is not yet legal. tomorrow afternoon, the Japanese Diet is having a hearing concerning same-sex marriage, and they’re “gauging interest” based on the viewership of the livestream. basically, if people don’t watch, they’ll just write off the issue as niche and avoid it for as long as possible.

i’m posting about this here because, for ~some reason~, the hearing is to start at 1pm. on a regular thursday. when people are at work.

so, for those of you who will be awake at 1pm JST on thursday the 26th of november, i ask you to please contribute to the youtube live viewer count. i’ll put the link in a reblog.
