What is Tanthamore Fingerfest?

Tanthamore Fingerfest is a just-for-fun event running over the month of February for fans of Willow (2022) that encourages fanworks on the subject of fingers and hands. There are prompts and a little challenge to inspire some digit-ful (delightful) love of fingers.

Tanthamore Fingerfest Prompt List The Handwashing Challenge

Fingerfest sounds NSFW. Is This a NSFW Event? Not entirely! Was it conceptualized with NSFW interpretations in mind? Yes. However, there will be no discrimination against any SFW takes, and the prompt list is purposefully vague to inspire all kinds of interpretations. All NSFW submissions are expected to be tagged appropriately.

What are the rules? Fingerfest is what you make of it. Fill all the prompts, or fill none of them. Participate in The Handwashing Challenge or don’t! Write however few or many words you want, draw as much or as little as you desire. Write a song! Do a dance! Put on a puppet show! I support you. I honestly don’t even care if it’s really about fingers (shh).

Otherwise: have fun, uplift others and be respectful, and tag your work properly!

How do I share my work? Fics can be submitted to the Tanthamore Fingerfest 2024 Collection on AO3. Cross-posted fics and any other sorts of fanworks can be posted to tumblr under the tag “tanthamore fingerfest”, and they’ll get reblogged here!
