An MH themed story and ask blog mainly revolving around my dragon, Tanza, and my various OCs, most of which are monsters not seen very often, along with my hunter.
Credit to Cloudstate for the profile picture. I don't do excessive gore or other 18+ themes, and I do not interact with anthros/humanoid monsters, they just make me feel uncomfortable and awkward. Please stick to feral forms if you want to roleplay with me.
This funky little bird here is one of my new characters, with the ref being given to me by my friend as a Christmas gift. She's mostly feral, with intelligence close to that of a dolphin, but capable of speaking a primitive version of common language through mimicry. Lacking eyes, she navigates using smell, the heat sensitive pits on her beak, and echolocation. The "gills" on her neck are actually highly advanced auditory organs, which are the modt sensitive ears in the animal kingdom. She is also capable of folding these closed by scrunching up her neck, and letting out a deafening, sonic screech, which can leave bruises, dent soft metals, and splinter wood. She's fairly friendly, however!
Overall, 10/10 good girl, would definitely pet this wyvern.
So, first things first, my noodle dragon, Xiliu, finally has a ref!
This beautiful noodle was finally given a likeness by the very kind SpookaSpino2 on FA! He's been around for over a year, so it was high time he got a reference sheet!
Summary: Xiliu is a ancient elemental of water, and the last living member of a group of elemental beings known as the Primordial Aspects. After a war among humans rendered the land inhospitable, he was left as the last conscious being in his world. He woke centuries later to find the world had become a desolate wasteland, twisted and corrupted by the raw magic that spewed from the carcasses of the other Aspects. After finding a door to another world among the ruins of humanity, he abandoned his own realm entirely. He's fairly friendly, and extremely curious about mortals, despite being oblivious to a lot of their ways.
I’ve been watching a fresian horse channel and they have really cute little babies. One of the things that they have to do with the foals regularly when they start getting big is refuse to let them push humans around- cause while its cute when they’re baby, its not as cute when the grown baby weighs half ton
i feel the same would apply to non-sapient dragons

The idea of dragons in modern times is so fun because imagine a hot summer day on your vacay and go to use the hotel pool and staff is like "valued guests we regret to inform you that the pool area is out of service at the moment, we apologize for the inconvenience"
And people like "wtf why" looking out their hotel room window and there's this. This dragon just curled up in the pool chilling, literally, cooling itself down
Some of the staff are trying to gently shoo him away and the dragon does a soft little "rrrrrr" like a grumpy cat and a warning puff of smoke and they're like "fuck it i don't get paid nearly enough for this" and no ones using the pool today sorry!
