Hannibal and Batman v. Superman’s Tao Okamoto has been cast to star alongside Haruka Abe and Kihiro in Adam Sherman’s She’s Just A Shadow, a gangster drama currently filming in Tokyo.
Described as a modern, dreamlike take on the crime genre, the story centers on a matriarchal crime family engaged in a vicious gang war: a deranged serial killer is on the loose and the only thing more dangerous than him is the drug-addled love triangle within the family itself.
As Deadline reported, although the project has a mostly Japanese cast, it is going to be filmed in English.
