went to Janet's Tea with my mom last week and found this i think new tea called Lavender Lemonade
Type: herbal
Ingredients:apple, lavender, lemon pieces, lemongrass, lemon verbena leaves
mm this one is very good. i get lots of the lavender and just the right amount of the lemon. both flavours i am a big fan of. i think it would also make a good iced tea.

Sunny C from David's tea
Type: herbal
Ingredients: apple, carrot, candied pineapple, orange peel/pieces, hibiscus blossoms, lemon peel and rose pepper
this tastes like warm orange juice which i expected. i wouldn't expect that to be good but it is.

Cough&cold tea from teas by kara
Type: herbal
Ingredients: oregano, thyme, tulsi, mint, bay leaf
this one tasted oddly eucalyptus-like even tho no eucalyptus. liked it thought because it was actually good for the sore throat i had at the time i tried it. also i like that it's decaf and doesn't have any licorice or ginger because a lot of like health teas have that stuff and i understand why but i'm not a fan.

I bought this Sencha Love Story from special tea here in victoria like more than a month ago and i literally just remembered to try it now haha
Type: green(i think because all other sencha teas i've seen have been green)
Ingredients: sencha, mango, papaya, carrot, calendula
it wasn't that great. i liked the mango and papaya but i didn't really taste much of the other flavours. it did taste like green tea tho. probably not one i'd buy again

Boost Tea i can't remember if i ordered this or if it was part of the subscription box but this sounds more calming than the so-called calming tea haha
Type: herbal
Ingredients: apple, hibiscus petals, lemon verbena, raspberry pieces, lemongrass, lemon peel, chamomile, cornflower petals
mm this one is good and it definitely is more calming haha. i like the raspberry and lemon verbena a lot and i really taste the lemon. would definitely recommend this tea

another i actually ordered just called Calming Tea
Type: green
Ingredients: lemongrass, tangerine, rosemary, sage leaves
liked this too. the tangerine is a good touch and rosemary. good smooth flavour although not really 'calming' because green tea still has caffeine which is not.
#teas#recs & reviews#the amazing tea company#i bought two diff so called relaxing teas#but both are green#which doesn't make sense to me

one from the tea subscription(i think haha)Wildly Soursop
Type: black
Ingredients: black tea, blackberry, lime leaves, pear pieces, soursop leaves/extract
this was really tasty. I don't know what soursop is, but this tasted like blackberry and pear, both of which i love. nicely tart and not too sweet. another of my faves from this company so far.

Ingredients: hibiscus petals, rose petals, amaranth petals

it's actually been a while since i tried a murchie's one. they had this summer one called Peach Passion and i'm a huge fan of passionfruit so i impulse bought it after the wbra book fair last week
Type: herbal
Ingredients: peach, passionfruit granulate, apple, pineapple, mango, papaya, tartaric acid
it was pretty good although not as peachy or passionfruit-y as i expected. it tasted mostly like pineapple which i found kind of weird. not bad but not great either. definitely prefer david's tea's peach passionfruit cold brew
#teas#recs&reviews#murchie's#i should try that other new summer one sometime#if it's not a million dollars

another david's one, this is called Simply Maple Breakfast
it's one of those nailogical teas that they have and i thought it sounded interesting so
Type: black
Ingredients: apple, raisin, brown sugar, gluten-free oat, roasted chicory root, maple sugar, marigold petal, and natural flavouring with stevia extract
this actually tasted kind of dessert like. sort of reminded me of rogers' chocolates maple truffle, but less sweet. i like it a lot more than i thought i would.
#teas#recs&reviews#david's tea#don't really get the breakfast part#i think it's a little sweet for breakfast#unless you want something sweet at breakfast

whoops it's been a while since i had time to do another of these but now that i do
this david's tea i've been wanting to try since the beginning of the year called Countess of Seville(i like that name haha)
Type:green
Ingredients: orange peel, natural bergamot flavouring
I think this is one of the few teas from david's that doesn't have like so many ingredients. I like how simple it is and I really taste the bergamot which is a great flavour. Also, it's not sweet, it's kind of earl greyish but not as strong. Definitely a good one.
#teas#recs&reviews#david's tea#david's is having a big sale rn but#all the things i actually want are either out of stock#or not part of the sale so :(

the blueberry tea in my subscription
Type: herbal
Ingredients:elderberry, raising, blueberry pieces, apple pieces, hibiscus, cornflower petals
this is the best tea from this shop i've tried so far. it's quite tart but in a good way. there's a decent amount of sweetness and very blueberry.

month 2 of my amazing tea company subscription box. this one had a french vanilla black tea and a blueberry herbal. tried the french vanilla today and
Type: black
Ingredients: apple, papaya, coffee bean, stevia, pineapple
this one was okay. i didn't love it because i'm not a big coffee fan but i didn't hate it either. it wasn't too coffee-ish and i like the papaya.

The last of my pluck tea and the only one I didn't really like
Orange Blossom
Type: herbal
Ingredients:apple pieces, hibiscus petals, orange pieces, rosehip pieces, red plum petals, jasmine buds, safflower, marigold&sunflower petals(wow lots of petals)
oddly coconut tasting even though coconut isn't an ingredient. also not quite sweet enough for my taste. i didn't taste the plum or orange which was what i really wanted. don't really recommend this one unless you like coconut

Second tea from pluck tea called Georgian Bay Berry
Type:herbal
Ingredients: rooibos, raspberry pieces, hibiscus, blackberry leaves, apple pieces, moringa leaves, elderberries, currants, blueberries, cornflower petals
wow there is a lot of fruit in this tea and a lot of fruit that i like. i mostly just tasted the blueberry and raspberry, but that's okay because it still tasted very good. also it's caffeine free and it wasn't too expensive so it was worth it.
