howdy :) im sorry for being so inactive lately. as you may have heard, there was a train derailment in east palestine, ohio
that’s seven miles away from my house
i’ve had to move (possibly permanently) from my house and up north to cleveland to stay with family, so that’s been fun
as much as i truly want to get back into writing, i just can’t get the words out. the last thing i wanna do is abandon this blog, but for now, i will be going on a hiatus
if you’ve read through this all, thank you for doing so <3 i really hope to come back soon

Me a black woman looking how a fandom (house of the dragon) literally explained the whole concept of white feminism by them trying to justify Alicent and Rhaenyra (especially Alicent) bad actions and how Stan culture literally try to make them feminist icon or symbols.
Are they victim of patriarchy and misogyny? YES.
Feminist Icons? No
Especially Alicent stans warping reality as they want, is she a victim of child marriage and misogyny? YES
Still a bad person? HELL YES
Rhaenyra stans have to understand she's not a feminist icon, if she ascended to the throne without the dance, only her would have power as a woman, and all women in Westeros that were in her situation would still not inherit their family's house.
So trying to slander the two ladies with lame as excuses as:
"Alicent is more in the feminist spectrum because, Rhaenyra listens to her husband (who is a bad person) as a puppy and Alicent slapped Aegon for what he did to Dyana"
If I have to explain why Alicent is the most unlikely person to be a feminist in the whole game of thrones female characters after Cersei, we would be here for a while.
If we use common sense if she was a feminist she would have leave Rhaenyra have the throne, that's it.
Simple.
Let's not talk how yall be defending and sympathising Aegon. Blegh
And pls don't come with what about Daemon?
Daemon is a bad person but everytime when somebody wants to talk about Aegon's and Aemond's bad actions, ppl always bring up Daemon.
Was I talking about him? At this point people cannot talk about character without bringing up other ones
