I just did my own reading on Edmar today (since it's the Sun/Jupiter/Moon conjunction in Cancer today! big day, astrologically! yesterday + today are supposed to be the 9 of Cups / "dream big, wish big" luck kind of days)

Cards that fell out for me (I didn't choose them):

11 Justice - I interpret this to mean karma, what you've been writing about on your blog - being in a karmic dance together. Something about the natural order & natural law of things. There's a depth and an inevitability here (not necessarily romantic)

5 of Cups (reversed? it fell, so ... maybe) - either feeling defeated, deflated, like hopes are ruined. Or: recently felt like that, moving on towards something less tragic & stuck-feeling

19 The Sun - Joy, possibility, optimism, hope

15 The Devil - I took this to mean: "Figure out what you really want; learn to be empowered in identifying your true core desires." The particular deck I use is not the RW so it looks different, and its unique imagery suggests to me something about the importance of breaking out of "desires" that weren't really your own, but were grounded in a sort of "oh, okay, I guess I'll go along with that" kind of situation. Like codependency.

Page of Wands - I think this card is asking: "Are you feeling brave enough to start a new journey of self-discovery, exploration, spark, and fire?"

6 of Pentacles - okay I did pull this card; it's the only card I actually pulled. I think this card is asking our boys to be more forgiving towards each other and themselves, too. I interpret it to be a card of loosening up, being more flexible, generous, gracious. Un-stucking themselves from whatever mental narratives they've gotten all tangled up in. Sort of breathing a big sigh of fresh air, doing an emotional yoga pose or two, and relaxing into a heart-based place.

i genuinely can't believe i never remembered to ask the cards what did he ACTUALLY do lol post-reading note: oh the pain from doing this spread, i cant even 1. what was omar feeling or going through during the core of this situation? 10 of pentacles – omar was in a place of emotional commitment, or wanting that. he saw potential in this connection, something stable and long-term. this card shows a strong foundation, like he thought this bond could become something solid. future, belonging.. it wasn't just a small crush.. whatever was happening, he was serious about it, not casual. (oh omar....)

2. what was edvin feeling at the time? 4 of swords – he was pulled back. this is a card of rest, withdrawal or just shutting down for a bit. in the image he’s literally lying down, not moving. this shows he was inactive emotionally. possibly distant or non-responsive. not necessarily out of cruelty, but he was not engaging on the same emotional level.

right people and wrong timing is a thing. speaking from my own experience (5 years later it became the perfect timing, and everything just fell into place)

we are impatient, but it will be oh so worth it in the end.

In my case it was the opposite. When we did get together after years we quickly realised we were better off as friends. It's like we build the relationship in our heads and the reality didnt match, but we were too proud to admit it. Getting off amazing as frieds and having crushes and support from that position doesnt guarantee that you'll work as partners, that is a completely different type of dynamic, and while i spend years wondering what if and imagining how well we'll be when/if we'll get together when it actually happened it was dissapointing at best, other than the original euphoria that it actually happened. Sadly the friendship was affected after too, because we couldnt go back to how things were, even after the realtionship as a whole was good and nothing bad happened

no no no. the last reading is based on joel's current emotions toward their bond right now. i think joel knows what's up and holds some kind of grudge, it comes off like he's bothered with something about e and o right now. if o is in pain about something connected with e (and i'm saying IF, even tho my cards pointed that out a hundred times, but for the ones who don't believe let's be hypothetical), it makes sense he feels overprotective of omar in the moment and is feeling bitter. but if the relationship potentially happens, he would be happy about it.
