Maybe I’m being delulu but the way Mizu looked like she was thinking about fighting off the guards until she realized how bad her position was after fighting off an entire army & then with the whole episode we see her married life. Then she realizes Akemi wouldn’t face the same betrayal & pain she would in her position & allows Akemi to be taken? We as viewers get why she does it, but the way Akemi is taken off screaming because we also know she’s going to be back in the palace as a possession to her father & be sold off like such is honestly so UGH.

Then we see next episode that Mizu thought mainly of Ringo? The parallels to what she said to him in the first episode? Mizu was starting to warm up to Akemi (if that’s the right term…) & already valued Ringo more than she expected. There is still a resemblance of humanity underneath all that rage & revenge & I want to personally punch the creators for making such an awesome show but then deciding they were gonna be zionists.
