EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS

Hey everyone! Black Hat mun here. I’m here to offer EMERGENCY commissions as well as a shorthand of my current predicament. Right now I’m on standby for disability and have been having some major difficulty landing employment. My last gig ended unexpectedly and bills keep piling up.  My biggest concerns are rent and phone bill along uh, many… many others that I simply don’t have any money to pay. (Everything is so deep in the negative I’m seeing the Earth’s core.) But those are definitely the top two because of the whole needing a place to live and prospective employers being able to reach me thing. I’m accepting donations as well, but I also personally feel better about this whole ordeal when I can provide something in return.  CURRENTLY: 1/10 spots filled Likes are kind, but reblogs are preferred. What is a cartoon you feel is really find overrated? Like their has to be a cartoon you don't get the love for ?

Nothing’s over rated. People like what they like. Sometimes a smaller group of people don’t feel the same about what’s loved by many people. They feel left out like they’re missing something and feel insulted. So they give themselves a superiority complex acting like their some highly intelligent being because they’re not “manipulated” by the product. They think they’re rebellious and free thinkers for telling the world how everyone’s wrong for enjoying said product. Yet they’re not any more special. They’re just people want everyone to have the exact same preferences as they do over a frivolous song, movie, or cartoon. Anyone who feels superior over others all because they like some piece of media that’s not mainstream has nothing else to brag about. They truly are worthless.

Anyway, Archers an okay show. That’s cool if you’re big into it.

Happy Halloween! Monster Party aired on TV yesterday! This ep was so much fun. These are all based on @ryannshannon and @stevieborbolla ‘s beautiful boards! @ianjq did a lot of work/drawovers with me on the 3 girls’ designs as well to get em perfect, & Ben Bates did the models for Tanis and Winnie! @kalidraws worked so hard on the colors for all these night scenes, & John Pham helped us really sell the HB sequences! We were actually able to get the original Ghoul School model sheets for those scenes. It came out so good!

You may have noticed a couple things have changed!  The reason is for clarity and to make animation a bit easier. For instance: Rawhide’s glove tassels were removed, and BW’s pigtails were changed to a ponytail, this is for better character mobility and to create clearer silhouettes with the posing.  Mayor Rhubarb’s mustache was shaved off as well, since it was hard to keep consistent and made his mouth a bit too busy looking.  Part of good character design is making everything clear and simple. You want to add all the bells and whistles that make your character stand out but sometimes its too much and doesn’t really add anything.  A simple design that stands out is usually what we strive for!  Since our project is still growing and evolving we have the the luxury to change a few things like this for the pilot.  Stay tuned later this month for our OFFICIAL TRAILER RELEASE!
