❤ My very close friend said to me, "I've seen you go through some tough and stressful situations and I don't know how you came out stronger." She stated the things I've been through... 1. Living in your car with your dog 2. You didn't eat just because you knew your dog had to eat first 3. You managed without money for months at a time 4. You searched hard for a job only to get turned down because someone else had better qualifications, but you didn't give up 5. You didn't sleep for days but still showed up at work ready to get your duties done. No pitty or sympathy needed here, just shows who pays attention and who is just there to be there. People lose interest in you when you are down and out, when you are succeeding, everyone is around. I only see the good in people and give them the benefit of the doubt, why? Because I feel as though everyone deserves a chance. If you did me good or bad, I don't stay mad or holding a grudge, that's too much energy being wasted on nothing. We all manage different, we all cope differently and I choose to dodge all the bullshit, stress and drama. I have places to go, jobs to advance in and make sure my happiness, health and well being comes before anyone elses, selfish-right? Ask yourself, "what do I love about myself?" I can answer that, I love every thing about me. Chunky, skinny, acne or clear skin, I'm my own self, I'm strong, risilient and beautiful.
