A Sunny Day in Narnago

Commission done for Osuenn and Udon (over on Discord) of their characters doing cuddles and nothing else but cuddles. The world is Narnago and Osuenn's species is an Ornius, both from HoneyFoxArt (also on Discord).

Felix Ixe of the Qurauw species

This guy is almost as old as my other character, Alex (and yes, having both their names end in an x was a deliberate choice. Reasons.... because.... it is cool... I guess?).

Felix also happens to be one of the first two "furry" characters I made (the other one being Felix's mom, Alex's wife), although at the time of making I had no idea what "furry" was, that there even was such a thing, or that there was a whole... uh... way of life around it.

He was first designed more than 10 years ago, and this character became the number 1 reason why I started commissions; when I uploaded art of him to Google+, various furries started asking if I could draw their characters as well.

It sure has been a long time since then...

Felix Cyborg Anatomy

The first work I completed in 2022 was a complete cyborg anatomy sheet of my character Felix Ixe (son of the character Alexander Ixe I had posted earlier).

This took nearly 2 weeks to complete but damn did it turn out good!

This was supposed to be a quickie done meme thing, and indeed I did take a lot of shortcuts when making this, I still couldn't help but add details and nice touches to the point it still took me a couple of hours to do.

An alien Beach

I had made this pin-up long before I refined the biology and background of my For Zah species. I used it for a Patreon banner for a while. Patreon didn't like that, so I changed to the spaceship I made later.

The For Zah

Sheet for an original space fairing species.

Was talking with my biology teacher about theoretical ways of storing energy organically that didn't involve lipids. I was designing this species to have a history of being evolved from an apex predator on a planet that wasn't really ever cold (not in a Terran sense, anyway).

So I wanted an organic method of storing energy that wasn't lipids, because lipids are bad at converting back into energy. The reason why someone trying to lose weight gets out of breath despite having an insane amount of stored energy is because fat is not as reactive as sugar.

I, on the other hand, was looking for something very reactive. Something that can be turned instantly back into usable energy at a moment's notice, and have a species that physically cannot become fat.

After a lot of discussion, the biology teacher came up with alcohol. Alcohol has almost the same energy density as body fat, is very reactive, can be created organically, and can be stored relatively safely.

So here they are; the For Zah. A species that doesn't need to catch their breath, can't get fat, can't get drunk, smells like whisky, and might be slightly flammable.

The Space Bar

Safe to say this was the longest commission I ever had to do, and not necessarily because there are a lot of characters present.

This commission was done as a thing for a server centered on Sergals. You know, that odd species that can't decide if it wants to be a raptor or a kangaroo.

Changes had to be made constantly, as interpersonal drama amongst the various members constantly changed where people wanted to have their characters sit, and who'd they interact with.

After a whole year of work and constant updates, however, I did finally get it done. Not going to be doing a commission for a large group of people any time soon again.

To fill out the bar and make it look less barren, I added a whole lot of my own characters too. Those would be the Humans and aliens walking around for the most part.

An old banner

This is the oldest digital art I got from my character Alexander Ixe. It's him there in the middle next to his feline wife, Kawa.

It also features some of my other characters, with good guys on the left, and bad guys on the right.

This art is so old it's making me cringe to look at it! But it's always a good reminder to see how far one has come.

Alexander Ixe and his Apex Armour

Alex is one of my original characters.

Since I was a kid I've always had this imagined universe full of characters that go on adventures. As years went by that idea became more refined until I gave it a timeline, a proper setting, and a title: Deep Space.

My original universe with a not-so-original name. Inspirations for Deep Space have been Star Trek, Star Wars, Bionicle, and The Lord of the Rings. Though inadvertently there are also some similarities to Stargate, despite that I never watched Stargate until the last 3 years.

This here is basically showing the high tech armour my character wears when he goes and does his thing.

Back when Google+ was a thing...

That's where my commission work started. I charged pennies for what could be hours of work. Didn't have paypal set up either so I sent people my bank details. Not any details they could use themselves, mind you, just the details they needed to pay me.

This here was the first ever nude pinup I did for someone, for a user on Google+ so many years ago. I haven't heard from them since that platform shut down. I wonder what they're up to these days...

Crusader

I made this many years back for someone for free in the hopes of getting "exposure". Safe to say that didn't work out at all.

It seems like regardless of what I do I never get any sort of exposure. Despite how demotivating that can be I've never let that stop me from doing what I love.
