“It glows, it lights up, it’s really sparkly, and it’s partly because of your incredible shiny personalities, but its also because you have a bracelet on your hand that lights up, and the reason for that is because on a stadium tour, my first thought is that stadiums are giant places they are huge massive place and I want to see every single one of you, and so now I can! I can see every single person in here. I am going to play a song now that I think I wrote about the idea that sometimes, you try to love without fear, but sometime, if you been burned before, you just can’t get over the fear when you’re falling in love, you just think it might be real. And I think a lot of us, our first step is to go, ‘Oh, oh my god, I’m going to lose this, something is going to take this away from me,’ and I think that every single time we reach out to somebody, and make a new friend, or talk to somebody new or try to make friends or try falling in love after our own experience of loss, and I think its brave, and sometimes you have to dance even if it feels like your hands are tied.”
— Taylor before DWOHT in Foxborough, MA on July 27
hayleykiyoko: It’s really hard to put into words how I feel and what just happened. I feel overwhelmed. Taylor, you reached out to someone who dreams of being heard and understood. Thank you for giving me one of the biggest gifts of my life, opportunity. And thank you for showing me that these crazy dreams of mine are possible.
I couldn’t be more grateful.
We keep climbing :)
“The Reputation Stadium Tour proves Swift’s growth in multiple subtle ways. Her full embrace of her vast back catalog is heartwarming and re-assuring, but her command of the stage, whether plucking a guitar or leading an army of dancers, shows that her musical and performance evolution is an absolute success. She delivers in every way to a mesmerized and devoted audience, re-defining what the modern stadium tour can be.”
