Personally I'm sad we won't get a HS romance with the MCL New Gen.

That's what I was looking forward to. I loved the idea of a new romance set in high school then following the characters as they grow up.

You get AP in every episode the total cost of the ep is over 1000 AP and it's your very first time playing it.

If you played it already you won't get free AP.

Idk if anyone knows this but does anyone know in what episodes or around how many episodes do we get extra free ap in hsl?

I wanted to get back into it for a nostalgia trip but I don't wanna put whole bunch of money into game I have already compleated....

So I roughly calculated HSL according to the list I made, and it came out to 40620 AP for the entire season. Which means, 2031 days, that's 5 and a half years. But, the first time you play an episode in HSL and it's over 1000 AP you get the remaining AP at the start of the episode as a gift. (For clarity: if the episode would cost around 1400 AP for example, you will get 400 AP when you begin the episode for the very first time. So you'd only need 1000 AP for the episode instead of 1400 in total. This does not apply to replays.) Recalculated to completely new players, roughly 29000 AP for the entire season. Which means 1441 days, almost 4 years.

UL would come out around 28000 AP for the entire season, so that's also around 4 years to complete.

As far as I'm aware LL also has a similar number, so add another 3 or 4 years into the mix :)

There you have it folks, spend 10-12 years on the game and you can complete it for free!

So I was able to go through episode 21 to episode 38 in my HSL replay with Beemoov's offer. I am pretty satisfied but it makes me think about the fact that Beemoov should REALLY put the first season with 1 AP per dialogue. Because, when you think about it, I had like 13000 APs and I was able to go through 18 episodes ONLY. Eighteen episodes out of 40. Of the first season. And there are three seasons. And in two days there will be a new one. 13000 APs, it's like one and a half year for roughly half of the first season of MCL. But this was a promo, so NORMALLY, I should have payed 26000 AP. 26000. For eighteen episodes. That's like three and a half years. I don't even know how much time a newbie with no money would need to go through ALL MCL content but I think the result must be scary.

They really were dumb to put the "new" AP system into the first season. It was not designed to be played like it. I remembered people grumbling because of the old system but at the time, most of the episode costed nearly 500 APs (especially if you looked solutions online, it could help you save a loooot of AP). That was like 50 days of economies. And the delays between releases were much longer than it is now. Nowadays, an episode cost roughly 1500 APs. That's 75 days of economies. And some episodes can even go up to 2000 APs. This is too much. I don't even know if there would be new people enough invested to go through all this, it seems overwhelming to me.

@wolfenrisulf yes I calculated it according to the new system!! Unfortunately for UL and LL episodes 2000 AP per episode seems to be the average I'd hazard a guess and say when the MCL reboot comes out we will probably have the same system or similar to Moonlight Lovers, so it's going to have a similar price :/
