You still translating T&B doujins?

No, unfortunately! I'm no longer into T&B and it was a heavy workload anyhow, I ran it by myself. This blog only really still exists to house the already-translated comics.

If anyone's interested in taking over this particular blog to continue translations, feel free to message me, I can see about adding moderators and so on! But now for all intents and purposes, there won't be much posting on this blog. Sorry!

I recently bought a Tiger&Bunny doujin at a convention and have been looking for a translator and someone suggested you guys! I have the entire comic scanned on my computer so I was wondering if I should post it on a file sharing website or if there was a way to send it to you guys directly. Either way, I would absolutely love it if you guys were interested in translating this doujinshi for me <3 Thank you for your time!

You can send it to my email account, which is satoru-13@hotmail.com - but as far as I understand, you can only send things up to 10mb. If whatever you have is under that, though, feel free!

Alternatively, uploading to a file-sharing website also works; just buzz the link over in the submit box.

Just...depending on how long the doujin is...you may have to wait...a really...really long time... We still only have two people on board here, so, haha. If you get tired of waiting and/or got it translated already, just give a little note. Sorry!

...209 to be exact, actually, since I've been late pfff. But asaldkjakla guys, you're amazing and I love you.

I've gone out and messaged all of the people who requested, so if you didn't get a message, please submit your request again! If you don't have a tumblr account and request via email, I go and contact you via that email.

Of course, anonymous requests are still okay, but you'll be without my beautiful system here. Not that tumblr is that unreliable with messages, anyway, so you're welcome to do that.

Also, just so everyone knows, I'm totally fine with multiple requests - just, if you request a few times in a row, and there are other comics from other people who haven't yet had a request filled, I might push your comics back a little. Otherwise, I'll do things in order.

In other words, you can request as many times as you want, as long as you're alright with a bit of a wait. If not, shoot, by all means.

This turned into another housekeeping post haha. Sorry guys!

Edit: As a note, there are 8 requests in the inbox at the moment - might take about two-three weeks to get all of them through, optimistically.

Notifications

Seeing as tumblr sometimes eats messages and that's happened with important messages on this blog before, I thought I should maybe start a notification system.

At the moment I'm giving people a little note when I'm done with the request, but if something happens like your message is eaten, I can't tell, and you'll be waiting forever.

So, now when requests are made, I'll go and give you a little "request received!" note. This way you'll know your request has gone through, and you can know that pigeonheart and I are getting onto it.

If I don't "request received!" you after a week or so, please message me again! Failsafe!!

One hundred thousand unhappinesses, with one hundred thousand happinesses

(Note: The title is actually "one million" as opposed to "one hundred thousand", since Japanese counters work differently, but since I think it was probably a reference to the hundred power, I changed it to suit.

A cute KoteBani comic before I go on holiday! I'll be back on Friday. Chances are I'll have no internet while away, but I'll try to work on translations while gone.)

In which Muramasa has been upgraded

(The artist started off with a bit of an explanation on what she thought of the pairing, so I've just very loosely translated that as well.)

Recently I fell for Muramasa-san x Yuri-kun, as ridiculous as it seems to be. I just singularly like Yuri, so I also like seeing Yuri (or Lunatic) as a part of gags. So I wasn't thinking of these two as a couple for much reason, but just because I like the two of them.

So then when I was thinking about when Kotetsu-san was young, I thought that the destructive Kotetsu might have gotten Muramasa to appear for him in court a lot of times. Kotetsu would say, "My bad, bro...sorry for this all the time.", and Muramasa would think something along the lines of "Aaah, calling me out again? I really hate that old man at court, so much pressure...", while driving his crappy van to Sternbild. Except, when sitting in the stand, the one who walked into the courtroom to take the judge's seat wasn't the usual old man, but a slender bishounen... Yuri, who had just become a judge then.

Muramasa was hit by lightning. "...!! My...my Björn Andrésen!!" Muramasa had already come to terms with sexuality, but having never committed to someone else before, was a little frightened - it was a first for both him and Yuri. Yes, a first love which is way too late; so he went at pursuing it viciously. 

From that, Yuri was at a loss of what to do. He held hate, regret, doubt towards his father, Legend - sticking to the concept of "justice" with a stubborn obsession, and governed himself strictly and earnestly. His father had lost to the sweet temptation of being a hero, and drowned in fame and alcohol. Yuri, hating that father, held himself at a certain distance away from the same heroes, like Kotetsu. A relative of a hero, he held at an even further distance. He had vague thoughts that Kotetsu's thinking may be different to his father, but he also knew that Kotetsu's justice was different from his own.

Yuri's greatest fear is his own resolve weakening, and not being able to uphold justice - which is why he never dated. Muramasa, not giving up and reaching towards him, loving him even though he had such parentage, was the most frightening existence to him in the whole world. All along, for the however many years Muramasa has already loved Yuri and only Yuri.

When guardedly telling Muramasa about his father, Yuri told him about a thought he had about "Lunatic". Muramasa nodded. "I'll see your justice through. Even if it places me against Kotetsu." He said that both sides were "justified", and laughed. Yuri, with a lot on his heart, cried with Muramasa holding him. On that day, they became lovers.

And there is Muramasa/Yuri for you. How is it?

couldn't you upload the pictures directly to tumblr :o? i think imgur doesn't resize, but if that fails you can use a free webhosting site like 000webhost (which is probably the least restrictive)

I'm not entirely sure how well tumblr handles long strips, nor am I really fond of the way in which it displays as a photoset, so I'd actually rather just having an anchor tag. c:

Sorry for being away, things were happening, and just couldn't update for a bit. I did a self-indulgent Kaede and Yuri comic, but I'm getting onto requests now.

My inbox wasn't working for some reason, so I thought everyone was just ignoring me, but it turns out people have been requesting. I feel loved and useful! Thanks guys.
