And the Blog Rises from the Dead

I... am really sorry I pretty much abndoned this blog. I am. Back in spring, I fell out of love with this show. Completely. I tried to enjoy it, but with the ninth season, I came to despise the characters and dislike pretty much everything happening. There was nothing I enjoyed, and over the summer, I actually forgot I had these blogs.

However! I have recently gotten myself up to date on the tenth season and... I love it! I really like the show again, and all the characters are much, much better than they were in the previous season. It feels more like earlier TBBT again, and I really want to give this blog another shot.

So, between work and busy holidays, I will bring this blog back to life! There are a few headcanons in the inbox now. I don’t know if there have been many more and they got deleted over time, or if you all gave up on this blog along with me (I wouldn’t blame you). Feel free to send me any and all headcanons you might have, and help me get this blog back on track. Or sit back and enjoy more TBBT headcanons back on dash.

Sorry for the Inactivity

I cannot beging to express how sorry I am for being inactive on this blog for so long. I’m really, really sorry.

Some weeks ago people started submitting headcanons and confessions based on yet unaired episodes, and despite making posts and such telling everybody to stop submitting these headcanons and confessions, people kept doing it.

An episode was completely ruined for me and I really didn’t want the 200th episode to be ruined as well, so I decided to not log on here until I could see it. Now I’m up to date and all, and I really hope no more episodes will be spoiled in the inbox.

This might seem like a ridiculous reason to abandon my blogs for a short while, but it pissed me off. I’m sorry to all of you who do pay attention to the rules on these blogs, thank you so much for doing that, but now I am back. Posting will resume tomorrow.

Valentine Week

It’s Valentine Week at tbbt-headcanons and tbbt-confessions. Send in all your Valentine related headcanons and confessions; submissions about couples, multiships, single characters, anything really, is allowed as long as it’s Valentine related. Have fun!

Valentine Week

So, like I said earlier this year, we’re not doing Character or Couple Weeks this year, due to little popularirty. I want these blogs to do something extra once in a life though, so this year we’re gonna try have weeks just for a holiday or something similar. So, the first one we’ll do is Valentine Week! This will start this Monday and last until Valentine’s Day. The only additional rule for this week is that all submissions have to center around Valentine’s. It can be any ship you want, wether it’s canon (Sheldon X Amy, Howard X Bernadette, etc.), non-canon/fanon (Sheldon X Penny, Howard X Raj, etc.), or even threesomes (Sheldon X Leonard X Penny, etc.). It doesn’t even have to be a ship if you don’t want; it can be about just one character, and why they love/hate Valentine’s Day or something like that. Of course, your confession can be about yourself too. Basically, have your submission TBBT and Valentine related and it’s a go! You can start submitting your Valentine submissions now (confessions go here, and headcanons go here), and keep submitting them until Valentine’s Day. Have fun!

No More Character Weeks

I decided that this year I won’t do Character or Couple Weeks. The reason is because the only successful weeks last year were the Sheldon, Amy and Shamy weeks. While that was great, it’s not really worth doing these weeks when the only ones people seemed to want to join were the ones for the characters who already get the most confessions (and headcanons over at tbbt-headcanons). The other characters got so few submissions that it’s just not worth the time and effort to keep this going. However, I do want to do something like this again, so I’ve decided to do a similar thing about holidays. For example, when it’s close to Halloween, we have about a week of only Halloween posts. Does that sound like aninteresting idea? The first one this year will be for Valentine’s Day next month. Will give you more info when we get closer to it. Feel free to give me tips or ideas you have if you want.
