Oh my god... I've never dissociated before (I think), but I resonated with this piece in a way I can't even describe. I felt like you somehow took one of my life experiences right out of my brain and painted them here; and that, ironically, makes me connect to Hilda more than I ever had before.

It's like, I get it, man. God. I haven't felt true resonance with an art piece in so long, this feels... Well, less of a breath of fresh air and more like someone grabbed my heart and is holding it tightly, y'know? Like it makes me hold my breath and just... Appreciate it more.

The new King concept just dropped 🙌

Boy am I happy tonight, folks. Finally I got to perfect the old King design I'd made a while ago — frankly, I still think I could put some more work on his outfit later, but for a base concept, I'm happy! His palette pleases me, his shapes please me, the subtle details on his outfit that reveal parts of his personality pleases me as well... Overall I'm just so satisfied !!!

Here is the concept sketch for his wings, and WHY I'm so happy I came up with it; plus, a second version of his concept with bedazzled wings bwahahahaa. Unfortunately I didn't like the bedazzled wings as much, but still :D

I've posted something about Queen Pacifica before, but I'll be redesigning her again because I've used too many greens and blues instead of pinks and purples, which makes my Pacifica seem less of a "Pacifica" and more of a "Mayura", which is nice, but isn't the intent.

I'll still be posting about the General later, and I'll update this post with a link once I do :D

oh, now you've made the queen upset.

Today I tried painting funny wings for the first time and now I can't stop thinking about Pacifica wearing both the Butterfly and Peacock miraculouses leading to... well. Lots of unwanted things in her eyesocket, that's what 👹👍

Either way!! Behold!! A new concept for my Zodiac AU's Pacifica, crowned queen of the newly-declared independent city state, Gravity Falls !! I mostly believe she's just upset at the moment, which is why she's got feathers sprouting up in the wrong places. It'll get better soon I prommy. She just needs a snack and a spa day and 1 new pony and —

For those who aren't aware, my Zodiac AU's premise is that Bill dies and his death leads to his Zodiac to become his pantheon rather than his destruction, thus causing each to "inherit" a piece of his power, which then allows them to Ascend into godhood of their own. Each Zodiac has "chaotic weirdness" that adapted to their symbol... So, basically, superpowers. The US Government has become aware of this and has tried to take Gravity Falls and its Zodiacs, but failed due to a new aspect of the Weirdness Bubble — which essentially locks out anyone who isn't "touched by Weirdness". This keeps the townies safe, but now that the world has been made aware of their existence, they're all essentially stuck inside.

Pacifica controls organic matter, as she is the only Zodiac (besides Stan's "fish") to have an animal as a symbol. She can shapeshift, she can alter other organic beings' bodies, and control plant growth. As queen of a reclusive land, she's mostly in charge of the food farms and ensures everyone has enough to get by without turning to civil war for resources (therefore, she ensures everyone is well-fed and happy, even the carnivorous folks (such as Manotaurs), the more exotic folks (such as bone-marrow fairies) and whatnot.)

The ability to grow anything she wants, wherever and whenever she wants, is frankly liberating. Her home is always bustling with leaves and flowers, except when the General is nearby, but that's when the mushrooms bloom ...

HEHAHEHEE. Had an idea to go with @tygin-ant 's Anti-Robbie: since canon Robbie is this emo zombie looking guy while his parents are overbearing and morbidly cheerful folks, I figured that the best parents for Anti-Robbie's overly cheerful self would be zombies.
