I haven't talked in a while and I really need to. So, I shall yap a bit

CW for religious talk (not in depth) and mentions of suicide.

I think my Robbie (or, perhaps, the new character I will turn him into) really isn't a fan of religions. Especially any religion that preaches about Hell or some iteration of it. He saw god, the Axolotl, and he is Death. He knows for a fact that all that happens after you die is rebirth, and therefore, Death is a gift more than anything; he sees death as the big net that catches an acrobat if they can't hold themselves up on the tightrope anymore. He sees death as a warm embrace just waiting for you when you need to rest and start over. He sees death as a final salvation so you can start again with a blank page, to try living again in a new perspective, to try living again without the pain they had felt before. Therefore, he sees suicide as no more than a person needing release, a person asking him for comfort and for a new beginning. He sees nothing wrong with that; he would hug that soul and grant them their wish, no harm, no foul. But religions? They preach that if you are suffering in life, then you should bear it until you naturally die, because suicide is a sin and if you take your own life then you're a wretch who will suffer forever in the imaginary hell they made up. And then that poor soul becomes too scared to seek out the comfort that He would be more than willing to give. He hates that. My Robbie has one consistency and it's to always kill quickly, no matter the person. He isn't a sadist; he's angry, yes, but he doesn't like causing or seeing suffering.

He understands that some people can find ways to grow beyond their suffering and live their own human life, happy, again. But he doesn't like the fact that people aren't free to choose him, Death, just because some ancient church said it'd be sinful to.

Not to mention the amount of suffering they cause in Life... That's not really his business but it still irks him. They cause suffering and block any sort of relief. What's the point of religion? To suffer, for what?

If only he actually cared enough to read about it. He doesn't care all that much. He's just angry.

What if the Axolotl had a pantheon?

I was playing around with my main AU and finally got around to designing Blarbador (yes, his name is super silly. I love him. I got it from Blood Chains, which is a REALLY great Billford fic if you're interested!). In my AU, he's here to make Ford's life hell! What a lovely fella.

Stanford was cursed by Blarbador to never be able to stay in a single dimension for longer than six years, as punishment for his and his partner's crimes (that being Bill, who died before Blarb could bring him to justice). As an immortal, his punishment is eternal, and as a human, his torment is never ending. Blarbador taunts him about it from time to time, but it's rare for him to appear "in person" again.

And yes, my Ford is a huge centipede! I love him!

i actually need to know people's thoughts on this because at least in my experience the answer to this has drastically changed since i was on tumblr in the 2010s and its driving me fucking insane

so…. ford might be mpregnant with his ex, bill ciphers baby. yayyyy."

Who knows maybe his husband could do it by himself with enough determination. If not, he has a line of other men practically begging to do it for him. If you need more reasons why he should be pregnant, the fandom went absolutely insane at some point in the past year and spawned a creature known as Skinzun, a hairless cat version of Shen Qingqiu with a human face that nurtures his skin children with his milk. I am not joking even remotely. It spawned a movement of other skin creatures, though Skinzun is the only relevant one in this scenario. ColeyDoesThings has a YouTube video on it. It's terrifying. However, it does prove that people think he is very motherly!"

My followers know I hate talking about politics and current events, and generally refuse to do so, but this is important.

A bill has been introduced in the US that would make all pornography a federal crime. Owning it. Creating it. Distributing it.

Under this law, fanart of nude characters would be a federal crime.

Under this law, depictions of homosexuality or simply being transgender, would be considered pornography and a federal crime.

This bill is not going to pass.

However, the reason for this bill is to continue to push the "overton window". The reason for this bill is to make banning pornography seem more and more normal to everyone until they can actually do that.

And remember, they consider depictions of gay characters and transgenders characters "pornography" in any context, including platonic.

They have been working on this for a decade now and it has been working.

If you are one of the people in fandom who thinks that "nasty" porn on AO3 should be banned because it's "icky" or "immoral", then this mental scam is working on you.

Censorship is never about protecting people.

Censorship is always about control.

Do not let the rising moral panic affect your mind and make you weak to propaganda that lets others control you and control what you watch and read.

Oh my god... I've never dissociated before (I think), but I resonated with this piece in a way I can't even describe. I felt like you somehow took one of my life experiences right out of my brain and painted them here; and that, ironically, makes me connect to Hilda more than I ever had before.

It's like, I get it, man. God. I haven't felt true resonance with an art piece in so long, this feels... Well, less of a breath of fresh air and more like someone grabbed my heart and is holding it tightly, y'know? Like it makes me hold my breath and just... Appreciate it more.
