His father had caught him using the time machine and locked it up for the time being. It wasn't like he briefly made the Leaning Tower of Piza straight? Plus that was one time and he fixed it, thus restoring the space time continuum.
"Just go out and get some fresh air." Cornelius told him.
Wilbur rolled his eyes and headed outside. He could have a round in the protectosphere, but after that there wouldn't be much for him to do. Well, might as well enjoy himself. There were a few new outdoor type inventions his dad has finished and has up and running.
