Zombie apocalypse au explanation

It was just an normal day at Wawanakwa Island when Justin was feeling weird. Everyone thought it was just an sick or something like that so they told him to go to bed and rest well. He wasn’t coming for too long. Courtney went to check on him, but he wasn’t there.. What happened to him? There were also few people missing what Courtney saw immediately. Those people were :
