Do you want to know how to play Obey Me: Nightbringer like a pro? To put Leviathan to shame with your gamer prowess? Want to make Mammon feel broke because you have way more Grimm and devil points than he'll ever have? Well you've come to the right place.

Since my guide is pretty long, I've separated it into different parts for your convenience and easy reading. Feel free to reblog/comment with your own insights if you have any. This is free for everybody.

Before starting my guide assumes a few things:

ULTIMATE GUIDE TO PLAYING OBEY ME: NIGHTBRINGER FOR FREE! - SECTION 4 - HOW TO RAISE YOUR BONDS!

Want your beloved to love you back? Aw. They already adore you. But to allow the game to reflect that you can follow my dating advice!

✅ Method 1 (only one) - Surprise!!

Surprise guest is your (formidable) number one. You can use Karasu.OS or the wiki to know the correct sequences. It can be overwhelming at first. I like to do the same pattern every time to help memorize it faster. But the guide is always there even if you can't memorize it. No shame in using the tools provided to you forever!

Surprise guest happens with a random member of your team at the end of a battle. Sometimes there is no surprise guest but 7/10 times there is one. Try to have your fav(s) in your team as much as possible to raise your bond faster. You can make teams specifically for raising bonds with certain characters if you want. You just might miss out on S ranks if you do.

Having your fav on your home screen will give you a surprise guest every 6 hours. You get more points with them this way usually. So make sure to check in often to see them! They’d love the time with you.

✅ Giving gifts speeds up the process. Gifts can be acquired as secondary rewards from jobs. Use this guide here to show you which jobs give which gifts. You can skip out on some grimm to have a chance at a gift for your fav(s) if you don't mind a lil sacrifice. After all, what is love without a few sacrifices?

❌ You can also buy gifts using dp in akuzon. I wouldn't recommend doing it too often but it's there if you want to speed things up for yourself.

✅ Choosing options in the story you think your fav(s) would like helps raise bond as well. But remember to be yourself and don't change for anyone. Being nice to them goes a long way though.

❌ Chats, events, phone calls, and devilgrams DO NOT have any effect on bond levels. So you can be mean to them in these if you want. There's no consequences to your actions from them. At least… not in the game.

You cannot lose bond once it has been gained with a character. Once a bond is earned it's there forever. (Aww!)

Ah, grimm. Just like real money, it feels like you never have enough. At least Mammon thinks so. But where there's a will there's a way. No, it's not by following Mammon's scams get rich quick schemes. It's by following mine.

✅ Method 1 - Jobs 4 Demons

Jobs are (obviously) the most effective way of getting grimm. Try to unlock higher tier jobs ASAP. Your minions should always be working away at the best jobs available. Make sure to check up on them often.

Characters with a sparkle over them in jobs have a higher chance of giving you item rewards from working there. This doesn't affect the amount of grimm you receive, only the items.

✅ Method 2 - Jobs 4 You

Alternatively, you receive a small amount of grimm from doing battles, akuber, or as event and achievement rewards. These add up quickly.

The amount of grimm received from battles can be temporarily increased using the purse boost items. These will give you 14k grimm a pop. The best place to get these is as event or achievement rewards. You might want to save them for special occasions though. (You never know when Mammon might need to borrow some.)

❌ Method 3 - Devil Points

You can convert your hard earned dp into grimm by pressing the + button beside your grimm. I don't know why you would do that unless you were desperate though. Mammon doesn't really need those designer shoes to live, you know.

ULTIMATE GUIDE TO PLAYING OBEY ME: NIGHTBRINGER FOR FREE! - SECTION 2 - HOW TO GET DEVIL POINTS!

Glorious devil points. A bane. A burden. A blessing. More desired than Asmodeus himself. But unlike Asmo’s level of beauty, having bountiful devil points (dp) is possible for everyone. There's several ways to acquire them for free that I’ll explain for you. For free.

✅ Method 1 - Daily Tasks

Every day you can earn 18 dp by simply playing the game. Daily tasks are your best friend. Swiping left on the home screen will bring up the menu. Do your absolute best to complete these tasks until you fill up the top bar every day. It will add up SO fast. You have 24hrs to do them all so take your time. You’ll soon develop a routine for getting them done and it won't feel tedious.

✅ Method 2 - Fight for S-Rank and Full Combos!

Now to the nitty gritty. Completing battles will give you guaranteed dp. Achieving S rank in any battle for the first time will give you +2dp (or more). Make sure to go back and collect this first time bonuses on previously cleared battles when you can. They add up quickly.

Achieving a full combo for the first time in boss battles will give you +3dp on regular mode and +5dp on hard. Getting a full combo on any extreme song will net you +7dp. These are your best bet for getting a lot of dp quickly. It does require skill but with practice you'll find full combos easy in no time. Keep trying. Never give up!

✅ Method 3 - Milking the Events

If you have caught up on lessons in regular and hard mode, go back and complete any S rank or full combos you have yet to achieve. If not, then events have your back. There's a new one every 2 weeks. These events feature 6 new extreme songs, 1 regular boss battle, and 6 hard boss battles that give full combo dps. That's 13 opportunities! That's not counting all the S rank bonuses you'll get doing them too. (Visual guide to which battles give dp below).

You can also use lonely devil to go back and complete these in previous events if you haven't already too!

Participating in events will net you dp as rewards as well. Make sure to play Them every day. You'll also get demon vouchers that save you dp too.

Achievements give dp. Login bonuses give dp. Consistency gives dp. Be patient and save your dp where you can. Avoid spending it on things that aren't congrats sets or the gacha unless you're grinding an event for a UR.

❌ Method 4 - Pay to Win

You can also buy devil points. I'm not recommending you do, but I'll give you advice in case you do want to. Be careful not to spend money you don't have or will need though! Lucifer will cry if you do that.

When there's an event, there is a super hell sale. You will get more bang for your buck with this. It's best to buy when there's bonus points to be had. These sales will offer regular prices but give you more dp than usual. For example, instead of £80 for 1,200 dp it'll be £80 for 1,500 dp. (Yes. I'm British. Tragic, I know. The currency and prices depend on your region. This is an example.) You can see how these sales are ‘worth’ it. They are limited though so you may only be able to buy 1 at this price.

There's also one time first buyers deal packs available too. Once they're gone, they're gone though.

VIP subscription to the game gives you a whole host of benefits. Read up on them in game if you're interested. But once a month you'll receive 160 dp, as well as the chance to buy 2 other dp packs for VIPs only. These give you 84 dp + 3 dv if you buy them. They are exclusive. In total the sub + 2 packs cost me £16 a month for 244 dp total. A pack of 240 dp costs £20 normally.

That doesn't factor in all the other benefits VIP provides. It's very cost effective if logging in daily. VIP logins also give dp.

That's all the advice I can give on P2W. Just don't do it, really. Unless you're rich rich. (I am not rich rich btw. Please do not eat me. I'm a normal person. I just love Barbatos way too much to make good financial decisions.)

ULTIMATE GUIDE TO PLAYING OBEY ME: NIGHTBRINGER FOR FREE! - SECTION 1 - HOW TO GET CARDS!

So, cards... cards are hands down the most essential part of Obey Me. You can't have ANYTHING without cards. Not even a pact with Mammon. But fortunately there's 3 different ways to obtain cards. Some require luck, some require extreme patience. You have plenty of those though... right?

Number 1 - the Gacha Method

The most effective way to acquire new SSR+ cards is by performing 10 pulls at a time. (See the right side of the photo.)

These ensure you will receive at least 1 SSR or above each time. Fortunately, with some grinding these aren't hard to achieve. I'll describe 3 different methods of doing 10x pulls from most efficient to least efficient:

✅ Using the 1 time 10x pull for 150 devil points in event gachas

Every time a new set of event cards is released, there is a limited 1st time 10x pull for a discounted 150 devil points (dp). A new set is released every 2 weeks, so try to save up at least 150dp by the new release if possible. You’ll always receive 1 free pull too!

✅ Using 10 demon vouchers

Demon vouchers (dv) are easily gained by buying the level up congrats sets for 99dp. You’ll need to buy these sets twice to acquire the 10dv needed for a 10x pull. 198dp total. This will save you 72dp per pull. You can also gain dv from events, achievements, login bonuses, and by exchanging 45 raven. Make sure to save dv until you have 10, even if it takes a while.

Congrats sets pop up after levelling up. At first it's every 5 levels, then 3, then every 1. They cost 99 dp to buy and give 5x dv + other goodies. Try to buy them whenever you can afford them. It's ok if you miss out. There will be more.

✅ Using 270 Devilpoints

Really I’d advise saving your dp for the congrats sets, even if you have plenty. It's more cost effective. However, if you truly don't mind spending the extra 70dp, then use them! Especially if you might miss out on a limited time card of your fav(s) if you don't.

❌ Single pulls

For 30dp or 1 dv, you can do 1 pull. This is high risk and low reward. You aren't guaranteed anything but a shot at your dreams. I don't recommend doing this. But if you can't resist temptation then at least Diavolo will find it relatable. You do get a free pull in A, M, and G pools often though.

General gacha advice:

Using the limited event gacha is amazing for potentially getting UR+ cards and is usually your best option. However, you will not be able to get non-event UR cards from these pools. DO use the A box occasionally to get UR cards, otherwise you’ll only have repeat SSRs after a while. (These UR cards also come with outfits.)

Event cards give you bonus points in current events. These are worth getting to help you grind event rewards, including unique URs and SSR memories!

In general pulling for memory cards is not worth the cost. You can get plenty from daily free pulls + playing the events. 80k points for event memory SSRs isn't too difficult with consistent playing. 

Save up your raven from repeat cards to buy dv or outfits for your fav(s).

Number 2 - the Hard Mode Method

The second most effective, and most reliable way, of obtaining new UR+ cards is by playing hard mode.

By reaching S rank in hard mode boss battles or extreme songs, you will unlock the ability to receive UR+ shards. If you collect 80 you can forge a UR+ with 60k Grimm. While this sounds like a LONG grind, and it is, it will be worth it. You can even pick what card(s) to aim for. So go get your fav(s) guaranteed. These cards are as powerful as the gacha ones.

✅ Getting duplicates is useful too in order to raise the level cap and skill tree cap of the UR+ as well. Even just one of these UR+ can boost your power immensely.

Number 3 - The Event Method

Every 2 weeks a new event is released in NB. With it comes a new SSR memory card (80k event points (ep)), UR card (160k ep), and a UR memory card (240k ep). These are the best rewards from the events. Unfortunately, receiving these cards involve a mixture of grinding AND luck. (Example below).

Box events are unpredictable. You might get an event UR in like, 120k ep, but it's unlikely. It might even need 250k ep. Do be careful with them as they involve more gambling.

However, you should at least be able to get the SSR memory if you log in a few times a day to use your AP on the event. Slowly but surely you’ll get there, even without the event card bonuses. You might need to watch a few ads or use some dp though.

Getting the UR card is possible if you get lucky in the event gacha. Even if you only receive the SSR, if you use jokers to raise its skill level you can get even more ep per play. You’ll have to play consistently though, watch some ads and use energy drinks to achieve your goals. It's unlikely you’ll be able to get these URs often if you're free to play. So try to save up your resources for URs of your fav(s).

❌ Event memory URs are impossible to get without paying, so either pay to get them or act like they don't exist.

❌ Ranking for a UR card is difficult without paying too, and it can be precarious. So avoid that unless you're hardcore (and rich).
