One of my students just asked me if there is a book where teachers get all those classic sayings from because APPARENTLY we all say the same thing.

I literally burst out laughing at that comment.

Here I thought I was being original 😂

Have you caught yourself saying something familiar:

“So much potential if you applied yourself”

“Meet me half way”

“Don’t leave it for the last night”

“Keep it down please”

I found this very interesting when teachers were striking back in 2019 here in Ontario. In no way do I feel that we teachers have all the answers but I do think that we have a better idea of what is going on in education and in the classroom. Let teachers tel you what needs to change!

A student of mine shared this with me because I am always trying to find a way to make the math relevant. I hate when they say “but miss I won’t need this in the future” 🤦‍♀️
