Atlaki makes a deal with Mordremoth to swap his place with Trahearne’s, hoping to double-cross the Dragon before his mind is completely taken. However, the Dragon is slyer than anticipated…and before long, Atlaki finds himself leading the Mordrem armies through Tyria.
Shoutout to the people who play GW2 on potato pcs where characters are texture-less blobs and the game plays in 2 FPS and you can still see the beauty in everything. Your absolute joy and love of everything you see really is amazing and I love you all.
I hope one day you are blessed with textures and frames. You deserve it so much you little beams of sunshine <3
One of those details I never get tired of is the completely consistent death design motif you get in all the Mordrem. Visible skulls, decay and state of rotting, unfinished bodies, bark in the shape of ribs.
We never saw any of Mordremoth’s actual minions. Unlike say, the Branded or the Icebrood, Mordremoth wasn’t woken until after the death of Zhaitan, when Zhaitan’s energy disseminated to all the other dragons and gave them the incorporation of death magic.
Every creature designed in Mordremoth’s sphere is a combination of nature and death because Zhaitan was killed first
loving how in the festival of the four winds you can go to the crown pavilion to talk to efram and he's very solemn and serious about building bridges and making amends and then you go talk to his adorable little cub prisca and she's like 'i am about to destroy this buffet table. they're going to call what i'll do here The Searing 2.'
How about 23, 31, 32, and 38 from the gw2 asks! @mystery-salad
Aww thank you Fox for sending numbers!!
23: What is your favorite legendary?
Going by visuals, I’d say either Astralaria or Sunrise. I’m all about sky aesthetics and those two are chef’s kiss. But I also really loved crafting Chuka and Champawat, the story behind it and having three little cubs in the end was 🥺🥺 very endearing and I am thankful I experienced it.
31: Do you have a favorite dye?
I tend to use rose gold, golden lion, and shadow abyss. But I love so many different dyes, you can make some truly amazing combos and gw2’s dyeing system is incredible 😩
32: What’s the best glider skin in your opinion?
Ooof hmm… I can list a couple but I don’t think I can specify which is best… the riding broom glider with the cat on it is super cute and I WANT it, the rainbow macaw wings are a pride classic, and the vermillion wings glider is striking and the option to dye it is 10/10. But there are soooo many incredible glider skins that I simply haven’t experienced.
38: Best memory in guild wars?
I’m happy to be able to say that I have so many amazing memories from guild wars that it’s impossible to select a single best. I’ve had so much fun in the past 4-5 years with this game and it’s always going to be part of what formed my passions and interests.
If I had to say one of my favorite memories, it’d be going to The Icebrood Saga announcement event in Seattle. As much or little as some others enjoyed the event and the season, I was so elated throughout and afterward. I got to meet Rubi, I saw a few other recognizable people, I even ended up in the background of the stream for a chunk of it lol. They gave some free merch which I still keep around and use, and I’d totally go to one of those again if possible and once it was muuuuuch more safe to be in large groups indoors.
I started playing in December 2016! My little sister installed GW2 free-to-play on our shared laptop and I remembered playing gw1 Factions as a kid, so I started it up and… I’ve been hooked since.
2: What was your first character’s race/class?
My first character is still my main, Laaaan, who is a max height norn thief! I switch between elite specs often enough but I think daredevil feels most natural to me.
8: What’s your favorite zone?
If we’re talking precise location, the southeastern shore of False Lake in Lornar’s Pass is a spot that brings me a lot of peace. I sometimes park my character there when I’m having a rough or overwhelming day and can’t figure out what I want to do ingame but know I want to play. A similar location to that for me is Patriarch’s Perch in Verdant Brink, though during the day, of course.
If this refers more to sections of the map, I’d say the Shiverpeaks are my favorite.
9: What’s your favorite city?
I want to say Hoelbrak because I LOVE snow and alpine/mountainous aesthetics, but Divinity’s Reach just feels so fleshed out and full of life. Plus I have a lot of good memories of friend shenanigans in DR.
10: What’s your favorite PVP map?
😩 I almost never play PVP so it’s hard for me to say. I remember playing a bit of PVP in the coliseum-esque map? With a lot of sand… That one had a neat feeling to it!
Due to an extremely silly late night convo with my partner, I will now be picturing Laranthir of the Wild with a clipboard and gym teacher’s whistle at all times. That is all.
